Has anybody ever seen this clock icon?

(a page of "Yousendit.com") you can download (at least some of you, the number of downloads is limited) a screenshot of an audio window of Logic Pro 7. It shows an audio file and two regions of it. In front of the regions are two icons, the first is well known - the lock symbol. The second shows a clock - I have never seen that clock before, and the manual doesn't mention it either. Anybody who knows?
Is there a chance to put such screenshots here directly into the post? Sorry, I couldn't find out..

Has anyone ever seen this error

We just launched a vaccation tracking app with a coldfusion
front end and an access 97 backend (dont ask). The app was tested
for over a month and passed all tests. However we never tested for
volume, or amount of users hitting the app. On the backend, we have
an access table linked to a text file. Again, this tested out
perfectly over the past month. This morning after release to the
entire company of about 2,000 people, users began reporting this
error:
The text file specification 'EmployeeList Link
Specification6' does not exist. You cannot import, export, or link
using the specification.
Some users logged in to the app successfully and some
recieved this error. For those that recieved the error, we had them
back out and re-login and then the app worked just fine.
Has anyone ever seen this or have a guess as to what is going
on?

Hi,
The right way would be to use a "real" database server.
But you can test if db-caching can improve the issue.
With each <cfquery> you can set a cachedwithin
parameter. Using that should allow you to query the Access db once,
and then have CF keep the query results in memory (for the DB as
well as the text-file).
You could query the complete database with no filtering this
way, and then filter the data using QueryofQuery to output only
records for specific users/groups/regions.
You also need to make sure the settings in CF admin are
configured right for this.
The more often the database content is updated, the slower
this solution will get though.

ps. for the cachedwithin parameter in the query set a
timeframe of forever, so the recordset never gets updated, and then
actually execute a new query to update the recordset at the end of
your "save a vacation" or "updated a vacation" functions. This way
the app would only read the db when a real change to the records
occurred.
But like I said with 2000 users, even that may not be enough
to get the app performing.

Ive been having major problems with my ipod
-making a scratching sound when trying to load
-Folder with exclamation point is showing
-cant get to play any music whatsoever.
So I been on here for about 5 hours trying to figure it out
I tried reseting on the computer. that worked until I tried to reload my songs on the ipod.
So I got rid of all ipod updaters on my computer and reinstalled the newest one.
and now this happened

Well Tyler....I've seen something like your problem before, but i'm afraid i can't be of much help. I saw the problem because it happened to me before, and my iPod needed to be sent into Apple for repair, i believe they need to reconnect the hard drive on it....well hopefully someone here can help you out, because mine was a matter of being sent in.

After you do what wjosten said, to disable zoom:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > OFF

Has anyone ever seen this happen to a macbook pro screen before?

I'm going to try and include a pic of this . Suddenly, It seems like the bulb that lights the apple logo on the top of the case has burned through the lcd display, resulting in what looks like a freshly lit kitchen match right in the middle of my screen. This macbook is only 4 months old and will be going back to apple for a screen replacement. i am still trying to understand what this screen means. I am trying to log into my network drive (NAS) western digital mybook live but I need to fill in this screen and i have no idea what my UN and PW is for the server 'localhost'.

That is a kernel panic. It happens when Mac OS X gets in a bind and cannot continue. The report will be saved and can be read out later using this article as a guide.

80 = normal disconnect

Not too sure what's going on here...running 10.4.8 on a G4 Tower. Booted up one morning, and all the text in the Finder appears as "A"s. I have a screenshot hosted on this link:

Tom's likely correct. The font used by OS X is Lucida Grande. If it were missing, your Mac wouldn't even start up. So the indication is that the font is on the hard drive, but badly damaged.
You can restore all of your OS X fonts without having to resort to a full reinstall of the system. At the bottom of my article, Font Management in Mac OS X Tiger and Panther, you'll find the instructions to reinstall just the fonts from your OS install CD/DVD. Try that first.

Running an IMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz, Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac v 11.3.6.
Opened Entourage and selected some of the tons of spam > hit Delete and there you have it! Wasn't really sure how to answer this one! It was like a Bill Gates trick question for Mac users. I had to have someone else come in the office to make sure I wasn't having a stroke or something.
I did eventually select the highlighted button after a coin flip, but to no avail. Nothing happened. Selected the other button then thinking that MUST be the right answer! Nothing...
Finally, an end task was the right answer. Seems to have gone away for now, but Entourage still crashes quite often. Rebuilt email, repaired permissions, etc. Nothing appears to be wrong, but clearly something was amiss.
Any ideas?

The usual reasons;
-In the vast majority of cases (think 99.9%) there is a bug in the C/C++ code that does JNI. As usual a pointer is the problem.
-Very, very rarely there might be a problem with something else. Like the jvm or a third party library.

Both devices are on Verizons 4G LTE network. Both devices do have some of the same APPS installed. Can this be a case of him connecting to a rogue wifi network of a hacker that may have installed malicious code on his devices when he connected? That would explain why only his devices have the same exact issue only at BWI airport.

Something similar I've experienced. I was once having to use a AT&T hotspot and the iPad simply refused to access my mail via the mail app. But if I used safari I could get it. So the internet was working, but my supposition is that something with the hotspot's firewall messes with mail exchange.
next time your boss is at BWI, do you guys have a web interface? (for example if I wanted to access my work mail I could get them to set it up via the mail app and exchange, or I could go to a certain web address and access my mail that way via safari)
He could try using safari and the web interface if you have it.
If it's something in the hotspot's firewall I doubt it's anything that can be changed.

One more thing to try. Double click on the home button. Scroll in that bottom line of icons (swipe finger to left) to the app that are all white. Hold your finger on the app until the - sign appears. Tap it to close the app. Hopefully it will then show up correctly. (As they say about chicken soup curing a cold, "can't hurt")

I'm assuming you want to know how to deal with this rather than starting a social network...
Restore the phone in iTunes using the computer the phone syncs with. If you use any other computer, you'll be asked for the passcode to restore. In that case, you have to force recovery mode and lose all data on the phone. Search "recovery mode" to find out how.
