Has anybody met that kind of problem on iPod Touch 4gen using iOS5.1 that you cannot find where to activate battery percentage showing?
I just installed ios 5.1 on my ipod touch and i cant find where to activate the battery percentage.. I tried Seeting-General-Usage but i cant find it.. please help me if you can. thx
It's not a "problem." The Battery percentage option was never included on the iPod touch.

This has happened to me about 4 times now. I just got a brand new iPod touch (5th Gen) after replaceing my 4th gen iPod. I havent had it for a month, so its still brand new. The only thing is that when the iPod runs out of battery it turns off (duh) but it doesnt turn back on when you plug it in to charge. When I noticed that the iPod doesnt turn on, and I hit the power button, lines appear on my screen. They are lines that run up and down the screen from left to right. I try factory resets, setting resets, restoring my iPod. But this issue keeps coming up. I honestly dont know what to do. This thing is brand new and its acting up on me. Should I take it to my apple store? Should I just put up with it. I have tried everything and at this point I dont know what to do anymore. Please help!!

If the iPod is defective within warranty (you indicate it is) and not abused Apple will exchange it on the spot. -
hey guys just have a simple question that i heard that ios 7 is not gonna come for ipod touch 4 they didnt design it for ipod touch 4 so are you guys designing it or its never gonna come for ipod touch 4g.

My original apple id is not an email address .
I bought iCloud memory via that same account no problem.
When setting up iCloud on iPad you cannot have a primary iCloud account unless it has an email address .
Made new account as per instruction ie [email protected] works fine
BUT as I want to utilise the money spent on the additional memory it would be great to use the initial account set up as my primary HOWEVER as far as I have tried the initial apple ID CANNOT be changed. I have been using my iPhone 4s a lot mainly for email and to text my friends. I have also noticed that my iphone seems to have recently begun freezing up. It's done this a number of times, and ive only noticed it happen after i updated the software to 5.1 version. Has anybody else been having this problem? I have takin good care of my iphone, and I care to know why my 300 dollar phone is currently being out done by any 20 dollar walgreens phone that I have had in the past.
I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

I need help I am new to this iPod world as a mom. My daughter has somehow deleted the app store from her iPod touch and I have no idea how to fix this problem. Can anyone help me with this problem.
It is not possible to delete any of the bundled apps, so the App Store app is still there somewhere. Either she's moved it to another home screen or dropped it in a folder, in which case you can search for it or do a reset of the home screen layout - Settings -> General -> Reset and that should bring it back, or she inadvertenly turned off purchasing of apps in the Settings -> General -> Restrictions settings.

First, empty the Trash if you haven't already done so.
Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, then drag or copy — do not type — into the Terminal window:
sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
Press return. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal. -
