Has anyone else lost pages when they have downloaded a book? I recently downloaded a book that was meant to have 300 pages, it only downloaded 290, I have deleted and re-installed it, but still the same number of pages?? Help!!

The pages are also jumbled up when I get to near the end of the book, very frustrating!!

What does the iPhone/iPad OS have to do with Mavericks?
Mavericks does remove the scroll bars as they are not needed, but you can set them to show always in the General System Prefs.

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

Was your phone ever locked to a different phone carrier than the one your on now?
If so how was your phone unlocked?
Very rarely is the server unavailable.
Is your phone jailbroken or was your computer used to jailbreak a device?

Since loading Itunes update my Itunes takes about 3 to 4 minutes to load and then when it loads it freezes for about 3 minutes and then unfreezes. This happens with every restart. I've have deleted and reload four times but still get the same results. t

I have unloaded and reloaded at least 4 times. Now when I try to open Itunes using the short cut on the desk top it takes about 4 minutes or longer for the Itunes to start and then it freezes for about another 2 to 3 mintues and then starts. This happen everytime I try to open Itunes now. I even deleted Itunes from my hard drive and put it on my SSD to see if it would work and still nothing. I've always been pretty good at sloving my problems. But this one has me stumped. Is there anyone who as had this problem that would be willing to help me out. Router25. P.S. It only happen with this one application of software. Everything else loads up fast. This comput is about 1-1/2 years old. Most people would love to have this computer. 9 out of 10. Restore from backup. If the issue continues, restore as new.

When i try to run Firefox i get a error message "cannot run unicode version of ATL80.dll install ANSI" this only happens with firefox,internet explorer, Opera and everything else run fine, have re-installed firefox but still the same. run fine.

I had this problem as well. I found that somehow the firefox.exe file had been set to run in compatibility mode for Windows 95.
To check this on your system Browse to the firefox folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) and right click on the file "firefox.exe".
Select "Properties" and then the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure the option "Run this program in compatibility mode for" is UNCHECKED.
Then try running Firefox as normal. Worked for me.

Something prevents your computer from update. Most times it is your security software, try to disable it first and then download. Make sure your download started from the beginning (don't use old download) and verify that you downloading correct version of itunes (32 or 64 bit)

Lets see if we can get those songs back. Take a look at the article below, as it will walk you through reverting to the previous iTunes library file before the update was made. If you replace that with the current file, all the files should show up.

power everything off printer & router.
re-boot ipad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake
button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake

After all you've tried, Dah*veed is probably right about needing warranty assistance.
But first check to be sure Settings-Airplane Mode is set to OFF, and Settings-WiFi-WiFi is set to ON.
Try unplugging your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi.

Try a new SIM from your carrier. If that doesn't work, make a Genius Bar appointment and get your phone evaluated.
