Has anyone else run across Error 213.23 or cpsid_83578?

Hi All,
I have a Master Suite CS5 installation problem on Windows 7 64 bit - Have exhausted first layer of tech service.  The 3 tech service persons do not have a solution for the errors shown below.  Next layer of tech service will call back.  It has been 2 days…
I can install all programs except for AE, AF, and FL. Although I can install the other programs I cannot open any of the classical programs such as PS, AI, DW, etc.   When I try, I get the following messages:
“A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product. Restart your computer and re-launch the product. If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen - Error 213.23”
Ran AdobeSupportAdvisor – the following errors came up “licensing program cpsid_83578 launch and serial # language do not match CS5”.
Has anyone else run across Error 213.23 or cpsid_83578?

Hi, Wonder if you found a solution yet??
I've just purchase PS CS5, and run into the same problem and error message when I install it (Windows 7 /64bit). Tried to install it from the Administrator account and then it works, but when I log on to any other account CS5 is not available/working.
Any new suggestions are highly appreciated!

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems.   • Elements 12 Organizer crashes every time I try to use the Photo Mail function. Has anyone else come across this bug?

    I highlight the photos I want to share, go to Photo Mail, select the addressees and press "Next". I then get the error message: "Elements Organizer has stopped working" and I have to close the program down.
    This is obviously a bug in the program and needs fixing. Has anyone else encountered it and found a solution. (I might add that the same crash happens if I try to use the "Email attachments" function.)

    Are you running on a Windows system?
    If so, use the windows explorer to navigate to one of the following files according to your system.
    64bit system: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
    32bit system: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
      Right click on that file and select Run as Administrator then try your email again.
      You should only have to do this once.

  • E:\ error message.  Has anyone else had this error?

    I get the following error as soon as I plug in my Shuffle. I have had this problem almost a year and I've taken my suffle into the store, had it restored several times. It works fine at the Apple store but when I get it home this is what I get. I cant use my shuffle and it's killing me. Even calling Apple tech support was useless... after waiiting on hold for an hour the guy basically said he didn't have any idea how to fix this.

Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location."
    Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve this? I appreciate any and all suggestions. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes several times as well.

    You could be having a drive collision with another device on your computer. Connect your Shuffle to a rear port on your computer, then connect your keyboard and mouse. Disconnect ALL other USB devices including printers, thumb drives, scanners, modems, digital cameras, external hard drives, infinite improbability drives, etc. If you are on a network, disconnect from the network.
    Now change the drive letter on your iPod. Use something much higher like M or P or Z, unless you have another device that uses this letter:

    Now that I got that out, and I know this is a little off topic of the title of this postig but - I am having a serious problem with iOS 6 on my iPhone and iPad. For the iPad, which is what we are discussing here, since the update, any app that relies on a "play" button will not play. I hit the sideways facing triangle and it changes for 2 seconds to the "pause" symbol as if it is going to play, then changes back to the arrow. This is literally in every app that plays audio or video.

  • Has anyone else run in to the dishonesty of Verizon when it comes to keeping unlimited data?

    I have been a Verizon customer for about 20 years.
    I heard about people saying that their customer service was no good, but I personally haven't had problems with them.... UNTIL NOW :-(
    When they stopped offering the unlimited data plan I was disappointed, but I followed the what I was told and purchased the phones for the full price so that I wouldn't loose my unlimited data.
    When I went into Best Buy the rep told me about an alternate upgrade that I could do and upgrade a phone on my plan and switch it to my phone number.  That way it will show that I never did an upgrade on my personal line.  So I went along with it making it clear that I didn't want to loose my unlimited data.  When she entered the information in the software would let her override something there and she called Verizon customer service.  The representative assured me that it was standard procedure and that the unlimited data would be retained with no problems.
    3 days later.  it wasn't resolved and even though my line shows that it has not been upgraded the plan was changed.   Another "ticket" was submitted and denied. Basically they just deny tickets without reviewing the specifics.  I then spoke to another representative that said there should be no problem and that they see this type of situation all of the time.  She submitted another ticket requesting the unlimited data to be put back on my account.  I didn't hear anything from anyone.
    2 weeks later they I talk to another representative that tells me the same thing there shouldn't be a problem the previous representative submitted the requests improperly and that he has dealt with this before and that it should go through no problem.  I had no choice, but to trust that this person knew what they were talking about, they kept telling me that there was nobody else I could talk to that it will go through.
    I had to leave the country for a couple of weeks.  I come back and my account is still incorrect.  So I call again. This time I talk to Gyann (removed)... he said that he again "knows what he is doing"  he is putting the request it and that he will make sure that he takes care of me.  I also talk to his supervisor Sander (removed).   Who assured me that he would follow up with the submitted request and would call me back agh 10:30am eastern time to make sure everything was going through.  I waited for the call.. no call.  I called Sander at later that day only to get a voicemail.
    I then called customer care again and they told me that in the notes Sander wrote that he called me and wasn't able to get a  hold of me.  There was no message on my phone and no missed calls in my call log.  when did he try to call?  Standly (removed) told me that the person that could escalate my issue is the supervisor that I have been dealing with, Sander, who I can't get a hold of and isn't calling me back.  Otherwise he is going to have to start from scratch.  I asked how I am supposed to escalate an issue wight he same person that i was dealing with if they generally don't  give out direct numbers and every customer service rep "will see the notes".
    Here we go waiting more time tomorrow dealing with this again.
    Point is Verizon doesn't care about their customers.  They make it difficult to correct any problems, but are sure on top of it when it comes to billing someone when they never agreed to the plan.

    They care about customers, but unfortunately, they don't, and won't, care that you lost unlimited data. You will be the second person in two years that I've seen have unlimited data reinstated. They will do anything in their power to keep it away from you.

  • Has anyone else seen this error when printing "Stopped - filter - failed"?

    Currently I am trying to print to a new Dell C1765NFW Color MFP with Mac 10.8.2. I can print from a Word document but not from an Adobe PDF file. I have cleared the CUPS folder and rebooted however it is still not working with PDF files. It attempts to print but then comes back with "Stopped - filter - failed". Any ideas? The printer is also connected through USB and the newest driver for the printer has been installed.

  • Has anyone else came across this

    Now i apologise if this has been mentioned somewhere else.............Obviously there has been many complaints regarding the speed of the 3GS with the last ios update. Many people have made suggestions on restarting, resetting, backing up etc and to be honest I did this a while ago and nothing happened. Over the last 5 weeks my wife's, my fathers and my mothers 3GS has got to the point there not fit for there purpose. We also have 2 iPad 2's which have also slowed down massively since we updated. My fathers 3GS got to the point it was turning itself off even if the battery was in the 80-90% bracket. He took it to the apple shop where he was advised to restart etc. He came home unamused and tried all the tricks they suggested in store to no satisfaction. He has gone back into the store today where he paid £99 pound and his old iPhone 3GS for a reconditioned one. The new phone has been cloned to his old one everything from imei number to apps and it is massivly different regarding speeds and loading. This suggested to me that it had nothing to do with the update and some sort of information was being stored somewhere and slowing it down. I have been fiddling about with my iPhone today and in settings, general, about, diagnostics &amp; usage there is an option to either send/not send apple data. I personally have ticked don't send. Underneath this there is a box called diagnostics and data usage. Within this is a massive amount of information based on my usage. Why is this storing? There is info on there from over 2 years ago could this be the reason my phone is horrifically slow.?

    Yes, the underlying BEx query works fine.
    When you look at the measure created by designer in WebI, you'll see that two of the words in the measure name are concatenated together. Also, when you pull this measure into the the Formula Editor the measure text is split onto two lines, as if there is a carriage return hidden in the text.

  • Has anyone else run into this problem?

    I am developing a combined java and flex project, and it was working fine as a web app. Usinf flash builder I converted it to a desktop air project, and now it fails to send messages to java. eg, My test code just calls a java class's hello() method when i click a button, and an alert shows "hello", which is what the java class returns. However I get an error in the air version, when I click the button it gives an error saying:

    I can see the problem there, my project is called Combination, as is the swf file but for some reason it is looking for "ombination.swf". Weird problem any ideas? I tried changing the name of the swf file to ombination as a quick fix, but then the air can't load it.

    Hi Jeremy,
        That is my understanding.  Clicking "Delete Account" is similar to logging out of iCloud with that account. 
       But your situation is different from mine, as I had been using my @me.com account for "Find My iPhone" only.  I ended up using my @me.com account for iCloud and another account for my Apple iTunes Store purchases.
       That's correct--it will not delete your purchases.  You can still back-up to your Mac with iTunes using the same account you used to purchase your Apple stuff.  -Bob-

  • Trying to import drivers, anyone ever run across FOLDERS that are named with a .INF?

    I am using the excellent driver import script from http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/automate-importing-and-creating-drivers-packages-in-sccm-2012-r2/ to try and import drivers from Dell and HP.
    We got these drivers from the Dell driver CAB website, same with HP.
    We've extracted these drivers and are now attempting to import them.  For the most part this works well, but there are some drivers that have a FOLDER in their path that has .INF in the FOLDER name. The script (I think) is seeing that folder name and
    treating it as a driver .INF file, and failing to import it. An example is below.
    These folders do have drivers in them, but the script is stopping before going any deeper, since it thinks these folders are actually driver files. Has anyone else run across this? I imagine you have if you're using the Dell and HP CAB files, which I suspect
    many people are. Is there any reason these folders are named like this? Can I remove the .INF from the folder names and re-run the script? Will this cause any problems down the road?

    It is kinda silly of the vendors to extract to folders in this way. You would never manually create a folder structure like that.
    However, you are lucky to have the CAB file in the first place. More and more I am finding that there are no CAB files to download for certain models - I have to end up making my own driver package by importing individual drivers. It's a real pain.
