Has anyone else still not received the Jelly Bean update?
Or am I the only one? I activated my phone on 12/30/12 and still have not received Android 4.1.1 as of 2/4/13! I know VZW is rolling out Jelly Bean over time, but this is ridiculous! I went to the Verizon store the other day, but they were of little help and told me to call Samsung!!! I routinely check the "software update" section on my phone, only to receive a "no update available" message. My phone is stock, but is one of the "developer edition" phones directly from Samsung that runs baseband version I535OYLG1. Still, I don't think that should make a difference, given that I have a Verizon activated SIM card and have not done anything to the phone (apologies to the moderator for previously mentioning terms banned by Verizon TOS... terms have since been removed from this post). The only thing that's different from the phones sold directly through Verizon (supposedly) is the unlocked bootloader. If anyone else is having the same, or a similar, experience, I'd appreciate any advice... or at the very least, just respond to this message so that we can complain together
Without proper system information nobody can tell you anything. there could be any number of reasons why the download gets corrupted from virus scanners accessing the files and damaging them to your harddrive being damaged or fragmented to a bad network connection already corrupting it... Check al lthat stuff, turn off the pertinent components, clean up your drive.

Has anyone else had problems with the recent iMovie update?
I installed the latest iMovie, iWeb, iDVD, QT, and Security update this morning. I restarted and opened an iMovie project and it crashed three times within about 10 minutes. All I was doing was editing some audio clips on the timeline, I wasn't even rendering anything.
Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems since the update?I had a similar problem. After i extracted the audio track from a clip (so i can edit it down for a drop zone in iDVD) iMovie aborted and i couldn't get it to run correctly with that video again. Each time i tried to open it, iMovie would hang with the startup dialog saying there was less than a minute left to load the video.
I trashed the video and pulled up my backup from my outboard drive (tedious; >.5hr over USB 2), i'm going to try again.
I have QT Pro also (i upgraded for the file conversion features, mostly).

After installing the latest updates to Snow Leopard the system hangs up and will not open properly. This is the update to Java, etc after the virus was discovered. I have done the updates on four different systems with the same result.
No problems with the Java update here, although I have Java disabled. Might try reapplying the Java standalone while in Safe Boot (Shift at startup chime), if you did it from Software Update.

Has anyone else had problems since the latest itunes/ipod update?
since i got my ipod and itunes updated, ive had nothing but problems with my ipod. sometimes it freezes, and when i connect it to the computer its all of a sudden corrupted. Sometimes this happens when i connect it to my computer to charge, and gets stuck on the do not disconnect screen. Sometimes ill be listening to music or watching something on my ipod and itll turn off randomly for no reason, then the apple symbol will come on as if i turned the ipod on again. Right now my ipod is frozen on the do not disconnect screen, and i have no choice but to restore it, however it wont even show up on itunes when its frozen sometimes, like right now. Has anyone else had problems since the latest ipod update?

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”. -
It seems like every other RAZR Maxx has an update but mine. What the heck? lol
Same with mine - got in May. Says it is Factory Certified - factory tested
but never used. Claimed not a full charge yet it was 95% charged...what can
you do - other models were lesser in quality and features..interesting
that you had option to take update - I did not. My email accounts were not
receiving. Didn't try nav doc...Hope this one will be better.

The only way to fix Xperia P problems after the jelly bean update!
After the jelly bean update my Xperia got slow, I could not answer phone calls, the call log took so much time to appear , I have tried uninstalling external softwares , reseting the phone , nothing worked. Now my phone is fast , gallery is working fine , I can receive phone calls , no useless chrome by default , the google search widget works fast , the overall performance is much better. I could not download 6.1.1.B.1.54 from the list which was best to me.. Please let me know quickly, I'm having the same **bleep** problem in JB.

Has anyone else experienced problems with the disc burner/driver software not being found?
I am trying to burn music onto a disc and it is telling me that the disc burner/driver software has not been found. Has anyone else experienced this with their MacBook Pro?
SuperDrives wear out - it seems that yours might be on the verge of a mechanical failure. I'd just replace it, buying a new drive from Other World Computing and installing it yourself (because Apple would charge a small fortune).

Has anyone else had issues with the notification led and flash?
the flash will flicker on only the right led then no activity after that, i have tried using it in the camera app and a flashlight app, also i dont see any color/light from the notification led that i have setup in messaging. has anyone else had this issue and solved it?
Try a Power Cycle.. Press and Hold the power button till your Turbo shuts off then re-powers itself after doing this retry using the Led flash with your camera

Has anyone else had email notification issues after ICS update?
After the ICS update, I am not longer getting any email notifications. I only get notifications after I open the stock mail app and it loads the emails. I have unistalled/reinstalled numerous times without any change. I have looked through the new ICS settings to see if switch got changed, without any luck. Has anyone else run into this issue? Thank you in advance
I think if you delete data and cache from the email app, then re-add your email address, it should help.

1) Are you able to logon to certview and confirm your status there?
2) Do ALL these exams show under your prometric testing history under a single Prometric Id.

I think with the switchover to Pearson Vue there have been some delays. Also for some the post is not as good (and sometime post goes missing, people move, etc). However if you are able to access certview this is worth doing to ensure Oracle has the passes (and certifications) you expect recorded under your Oracle Testing Id. (That said some people can have difficulities accessing certview ... but certview should normally show where the problem lies).
(Please note my suggstions are not authorative as I dont work for Oracle).

Also please note you should have received a PL/SQL Developer OCA Certificate as well .. did you receive this? Also you have passed 3 exams in a short amount of time ... it isn't impossible to these 3 exams close together but it may be a little unusual to do so. -
Has anyone else lost Notes data stored in iCloud?
I had a note that I was trying to update daily that apparently was being stored in iCloud. Today it looks like my last update was on Nov 11th. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Any suggestions on how to properly report this to Apple/iCloud Support?
I think this has something to do with a stuck iCloud account setup I have on my iPad. Somehow I have 2 iCloud account entries for the same email account but one of them has not updated since Nov 11th due to a missing password. I was looking for a way to get rid of that mailbox/account entry today. I suspect that is the source of the data loss.
