Has anyone ever had a problem reported in Maps actually corrected?
I have made numerous problem reports in the Apple Maps App (Street mislabeled, etc.). None have ever been corrected.
Has anyone had better luck?
yup Jim- I have been reporting an area that has been placed 2 miles south of its actual location (in a different region) repeatedly for a year and there is no change. I wouldn't usually care but all the photos I have taken at home are labelled incorrectly in moments too. They couldn't give 2 *****.

I upload songs on to my ipod and they appear on my ipod in itunes but after i disconnect (the correct way) the songs do not appear on my ipod. I have a Macbook Pro, and I cannot get onto my my job's wi-fi network. Has anyone ever had a problem getting on a wi-fi network at your place of employment? I have a username and password for the network, but when I try to go through the Connection Assistant and put in my password, it says its the wrong password.

Has anyone ever had a problem with their iphone 4 not syncing and/or writing a backup file? Itunes locks up when i attempt a sync as well as when I transfer my purchases from my phone to Itunes. I'm running Itunes 10.4.1 on iOS 4.3.5. All of this is running on an 8 year old hp pavillian laptop running XP Pro that is fully updated. Could my phone have a bug or a hardware problem. Are there any known problems with iOS 4.3.5? Pretty frustrating problem so I'm hoping that someone has heard of this and can offer some suggestions on a solution. Thanks a bunch.

This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.
Hope you get it sussed out.

In addition to doing this today my mouse went all crazy and it was like I had no control over it. Once I restarted my computer it was fine. I took it into the genius bar a few weeks ago, but they couldn't find anything wrong with it. If anyone has experienced something similar OR has any idea what in the world might be causing this please let me know!

It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.

I cannot access iBooks on my ipad 2. When I tap the icon and it opens all I receive is a blank white screen. If I delete the iBooks app and reload it on my ipad, will I loose all my books,pdf's and manuals ?
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

McAfee SiteAdvisor is no longer working with my Safari 8.0. I never had trouble using it with Safari before this latest version. Has anyone else had this problem? I contacted McAfee support and they said nobody else is reporting this issue.

I have not heard of that issue although some people have reported events showing an hour earlier / later (though I haven't seen that personally).
Questions:
What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
Can you make an event and then it just disappears?
Are you using iCloud / MobileMe / Google / Yahoo / Some other server based calendar?
Try these in order:
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Language & Text > Formats > Region. Region should be set to the country of your choice. Do not have it set to "Custom" as this can have unexpected results in the iCal window.
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Date & Time and make sure the Date and Time are correct and that the correct Time Zone is selected.
If that doesn't resolve the issue:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
--- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard. You will see "Library" in the menu.
4. Launch iCal and test.
If the issue persists:
1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
--- NOTE: Removing these files may remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
3. Launch iCal and test.

I recently updated my iTunes to the new version. When I opened it I found that there were no details listed on the SONGS page. On all other pages the relevant pictures/details appear. Although there are no details showing on the songs page, the songs are obviously there as when you click on a line it plays the song that should be listed. Has anyone else had this problem? (I am using a Windows XP Pro system on my Laptop).
