Has anyone ever had a virus on the iMac?
I just clicked on a website for black friday ads and when I did this virus scan thing came up on the screen and said that I had like 27 viruses on my computer??? I'm really concerned!! I was saying that I needed to download a virus protection to get rid of them, but I didn't. This is the first time I've had this kind of problem.
I went to "force quit" to close the web page and then restarted safari and now its acting fine....
What should I do? Please Help!!
Not really maulware but a scam...comes up periodically on each of my computers, four currently, with the same message. Purpose is to get you to think you really do have a virus and give them a credit card number and download software that will clean up your computer. Of course it clears it of viruses...never was one, or if there was the software couldn't do anything anyway.
You have to be very careful of popups like this, and especially of emails that come saying to click on their link for important information. Bogus email from banks and even the IRS have been going around. Neither banks nor IRS contacts people in this manner.
If you are concerned about virus protection, there is a very good Mac-friendly program called ClamXAV that you can Google, it is a free download and thought of rather highly by some of the users on here.

I upload songs on to my ipod and they appear on my ipod in itunes but after i disconnect (the correct way) the songs do not appear on my ipod. Has anyone ever had an email from Apple on IPad asking them to update their account details? The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Any help is gratefully appreciated.....Thanks.

I have a Macbook Pro, and I cannot get onto my my job's wi-fi network. Has anyone ever had a problem getting on a wi-fi network at your place of employment? I have a username and password for the network, but when I try to go through the Connection Assistant and put in my password, it says its the wrong password.

Has anyone ever had a problem with their iphone 4 not syncing and/or writing a backup file? Itunes locks up when i attempt a sync as well as when I transfer my purchases from my phone to Itunes. I'm running Itunes 10.4.1 on iOS 4.3.5. All of this is running on an 8 year old hp pavillian laptop running XP Pro that is fully updated. Could my phone have a bug or a hardware problem. Are there any known problems with iOS 4.3.5? Pretty frustrating problem so I'm hoping that someone has heard of this and can offer some suggestions on a solution. Thanks a bunch.
Did you used to have service and now suddenly you don't?
This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.

Hi. I have a OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.1 Mac Book Air, Processor 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Has anyone else had a problem with the audio not keeping up with the video when switching to full screen on YouTube?
The video starts out fine, but if I click on the expand icon in the lower right corner of the screen the audio won't keep up.
Refreshing the page don't help at all. In fact, nothing seems to help once it starts.
I did not have this problem at all using Mavericks. The problem started after installing Yosemite.
Any way to fix it?only $99, i thought it was closer to $175.

I purchased an iphone 4 dock and bumper but when ever I sit the iphone in the dock with the bumper on it won't get a sufficient enough connection to charge so I have to take the bumper off in order for it to charge.
