Has anyone ever lost a ringtone that they purchased and downloaded? I have; completely gone. And when I searched and attempted to download it again I got the message "you've already purchased this; do you want to purchase it again?"

Did you try restarting it by holding down the hold and lock button at the same time until you get the apple logo? If you already tried that then you should try putting it in DFU mode and doing a restore by following these instructions- http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034

I loaded 4 but it kept crashing so I deleted it and went back to the older version. Then I kept getting the message that my computer was at risk and not protected because I needed the latest version. So I reloaded 4 but still get the message that it isn't loaded. So I try again to load it but get the message it already exists.

Has anyone ever "lost" their library and all their playlists??
When I first looked at my library today, all the songs (I have about 300 on my nano) were gone!!!! How can I get them back? I am worried that if I sync my Ipod I'll loose them for good!
iPads are not exact laptop replacements. If you need to be using Photoshop, then buy a normal laptop computer.
Using a remote access app on an IPad or any tablet conputer to remote access your computer to operate will be quite a lot slower and clumsier than just having a laptop with a normal OS and Photoshop application installed. -

has anyone ever had this problem and know how to fix it ?? I upload songs on to my ipod and they appear on my ipod in itunes but after i disconnect (the correct way) the songs do not appear on my ipod. If i plug the ipod back into my computer it still shows them as being on my ipod through itunes but not when i disconnect please please please help!! thankyou! (Also the songs i'm trying to upload are cd's that i have brought)

Has anyone tried creating a plugin that you can type in a specific word, and if it comes up in the very top of the page (i think its refered to as the header) it closes the page or tab automatically? there is a program called POW! by AnalogX that does this, but its only good for IE. And Im a Firefox man. Can anyone look into this or maybe create a plugin that does what POW! does for IE? I will donate to the creater of a plugin that does that. Im so sick of pop ups that most pop up blockers miss.

I tried to install the Watch ABC (a free app) on my iPad from the AppStore. It would not download. I attempted to install it a second time, and got the message "You've already purchased this, so it will downloaded now at no additional charge." Any advice? This is a fee app so I do not understand the message referencing a purchased app. I get the cloud symbol, but it will not download. I closed the App Store app and restarted my iPad, but to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt it. They don't even take the same kind of RAM.
What makes you think a replacement "will most likely go bad in the future"? Some have had to go back more than once; many haven't. (And many have not gone in at all.) There are many iBook users out there, happily iBooking away without any knowledge of the iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program because they've never had a problem.
Get it replaced, free, NOW, and worry about the future when it gets here.

Has anyone ever changed an apple id on the iphone
my wife and i have been sharing an apple id and i now want to provide her with her own. since the icloud has been launched any app she downloads i get and vice versa. Has anyone ever switched out an applie id on the iphone before. does it have to be synced with itunes once to make the change happen? If so will i still be able to keep all of the contents ih her phone.
You can share iTunes content within the same household, so if you get your own Apple ID/iTunes account, you can continue to use content obtained using your Wife's account. Any app updates to apps obtained using the wife's Id must be done using that ID. Just authorize the computer for the new Apple ID/iTunes account: Store>Authorize this Computer. You can switch iTunes accounts on the phone by going to: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.

sorry if this is the wrong forumWell Tyler....I've seen something like your problem before, but i'm afraid i can't be of much help. I saw the problem because it happened to me before, and my iPod needed to be sent into Apple for repair, i believe they need to reconnect the hard drive on it....well hopefully someone here can help you out, because mine was a matter of being sent in.

Has anyone ever had an email from Apple on IPad asking them to update their account details? The email seems genuine enough as it asks you to sign in with your Apple ID and password and takes you through to the Apple site but am a bit worried as they ask you in the section Update Your Apple account for bank and credit card details and for the security number on the back of the card. Also in the section where it asks for my mobile number it will only take 10 numbers and when ai try to put in the final (11th number) it won't let me. Sorry am new to all this and a bit confused! Any help is gratefully appreciated.....Thanks.
