Has Anyone experience problems installing Lion?
After I downloaded the OS X Lion, It restarted the computer and crashed when the language screen came up during installation. I re-downloaded the program and it still does the same!!!!
Any suggestions???

I upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion and now my Canon Pixima MP500 will not open because PowerPC apps are no longer supported! Has anyone experience this problem?
Correct. Applications designed to run on the old PPC Macs (which Apple stopped making in 2005) cannot run on Mountain Lion.

Has anyone experience the IPOD FROZEN in the middle of the song? I recently bought the Ipod 30GB Video. It functioned fine for the first couple of weeks (last approx 12-15 hours of uncharge played song). Then comes the frozen. I fully charged the Ipod and played for half of an hour or so and suddenly, It froze and I could not do anything with it. I tried to reset several times and the problem still persisted. I also tried to restore to the manufacturing setting but it was not a successful restore. It hang in the middle of process. I took the Ipod to the Apple Store and one of the guy at the Genius Bar looked at it and said "it might caused by your song" ... ***? Anyhow, it turned out that it was the Ipod problem ... so he said. I got the replacement one.
Well, brought the replacement home and I thought it was fine until today ... the Ipod froze AGAINNNN .... grzzzzzz ... WHAT's HAPPENING? This time even worst, I cannot even reset ... It display a small sliver of red color at the battery and even though I plugged it into the computet for an hour or so, it still not being able to charged. Well, I paid another visit to the Apple store. Murphy Law, it's not working at home but it worked at the store (although, one of the Genius Bar guy explain that the Ipod "somehow" got into the critical low battery and the the provided USB cable does not have sufficient power to boost the Ipod to its recovery mode.) In fact, this guy (Genius Bar Guy) had to plug the Ipod into the other connector (not the USB one ... I am not a fan of Apple therefore not knowing the exact term for this connector) from his laptop and waited for 10 minutes of so and voila ... I took it home an charge for a nother few hours or so before I can put all of my music back into the Ipod.
Sorry for the long story but has anyone experience this ... if so, how do you comes into the fix ... I am not convince that the problem will go away and the the "boosting" thing ... or I just come with an unlucky Ipod ....Just experienced same today. Firefox didn't even want to quit without a force quit. Removed Firefox and so far so good with other browsers - Safari and Chrome

I use Firefox as my default browser, since the firefox plug-in "default browser helper 537" was installed (in November) my mac has slow down, especially when browsing using both firefox and safari. I un-installed firefox a week ago and my pc has gone back to it original state. I installed Firefox again after two days from the previous un-install and the browsing slow down again. I then un-installed again. Has anyone experience this! IS there a issue with Firefox???Just experienced same today. Firefox didn't even want to quit without a force quit. Removed Firefox and so far so good with other browsers - Safari and Chrome

Using 10.9.2 has anyone had problems with mail sounds not sounding even when they have been selected in mail preferences?
Your download or install of the update may have been corrupt. Visit the Mac App Store and re-download the update or visit http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726 and download the 10.9.2 update combo and re-install.

Has anyone experienced problems with Mackeeper? I did not complete downloading this software. Yet, occasionally when on the internet, I will have the MacKeeper multi-colored circle replace my pointer. How do you deal with this?

Has anyone had problems with the latest Lexmark printer driver update? My Lexmark printers won't work with the latest driver update. If I reinstall an older version of the drivers, they work.
Mine crashed once with new update, but working fine.
I had to delete old printer, restart iMac, and then reinstall
new drivers to get it to work. Would not complete without
the restart after deleting non-working printer. No problems

Has anyone had problems trying to burn playlists to CD's, so that they can play on regular CD players?
Yes, I have had problems playing burned IDVD's on stand alone dvd players and on pc's.
I have set the burn speed to 4x and as low as 2x to no avail.
I will try Verbatim discs and DVD-R to see if that resolves my problem.
I will also make sure of the minimum of 25 gb free space on hard disk.
Do you prefer a particular cleaning-dvd? I've never used one on my macmini.

Has anyone experienced problems with downloading Nikon D800 files to the iPad3 using the camer connector kit? I have tried .RAW and JPEG (of various sizes) on both SD and CF cards, but the iPad doesn't recognise the files.
I have seen various forums discussing Lightroom and PSE updates that are required to process .NEF files but I can't find anything on the iPad/camera connector issue.
I dont have any problem if I put the SD card straight into the SD slot in my iMac and Aperture will process the files fine, but I would really like to be able to download and view files on the move on the iPad.
Any advice appreciated?
PS - saw something that suggested the iPad had a maximum file size of 16mb for photos, not sure if this is correct, but I have tried smaller JPEG files and they still aren't recognised.If your camera supports both PTP and Mass Storage Device modes, it may be necessary to use both modes to import all media content.
If some files do not import as expected using one mode, try switching to the other mode and importing again.
Note: Some cameras may refer to PTP as Pictbridge or PTP/Pictbridge. -

Has anyone experienced problems sending pictures on Imessage today? Even mail has been taking a long time to receive. I work near newark airport.
Last I checked you could not access RoadRunner outgoing mail servers from outside of the RoadRunner network (i.e., the AT&T EDGE network). You can use cwmx.com as your outgoing mail server, with no ID or password, and that will work while you are on EDGE (but now when you are on WiFi).
As for junk mail, that is the scourge of the internet. Many people have many solutions - I can share with you mine. I had all my email forwarded to a free GMail account. GMail has amazingly efficient SPAM filters, and it has cut down my spam 99%. You can configure your account on the iPhone using the "Other" shortuct in such a way that emails seem to come from your Roadrunner account. The added bonus is that the GMail outgoing server works on both EDGE and WiFi, so you dont have to worry about where you are at. -
