The the scanning feature of the HP worked fine, until, key word here stay with me now, until Apple updated their software, then the integrated periperal, the scanner that is, no longer functioned as intended.
When Apple updates/upgrades their software and/or hardware it is the responsibility of the 3rd party manufacturers to keep up! Not the other way around.

Hello PW, I am having this problem and all suggestions haven't worked yet. Where is the Preferences|Documents you are referring to? I am on a PC and using Windows.

Has anyone found a fix to the code on Google Toolbar (NOT a Google search box) to make it work with Firebox 9.0.1? my tool bar doesn't show any icons and says its not compatible. I've tried to fixes to no avail.

I've tried two fixes:
1. Went to Firefox Profiles at AppData >Roaming > Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles > Default Profile > Extensions and look for the directory where the Google Toolbar is installed. Mine is located at {3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c} directory.
Changed the maxversion to 10. Find this line <em:maxVersion>4.0.*</em:maxVersion> to <em:maxVersion>10.*</em:maxVersion>\
2. Went to Lib dircotry and opened up the file toolbar.js with a text editior and replaced all www.google.com/accounts WITH: accounts.google.com

You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

It shouldn't print each page as a separate job and
each tab has a different name, so, even if it did, it
ought to give the printouts the name of the tabs.
It doesn't print each page as a separate job unless the orientation is different - that's the bug. And the name of the job is taken from the name of the window, not the name of the tabs. That's how every application works, which, I think, is why Excel allows the specific selection or the active sheets to be printed.
Still, that does sound like a plausible explanation.
However, even if presented with multiple prints with
the same name, the spooler should print each one!
The spooler does print each one - you can watch the spooler process the multiple jobs. I think, though, that they are being overwritten since all the jobs have the name of the window as the job title. And since this happens after the Save Dialog is presented, there's really nothing the application can do. To Excel, it's one job, the multiple orientations don't matter; it's just that Apple doesn't handle it correctly.
As a workaround, you can print the selections one at a time and give them unique names and then rejoin them in one PDF file.

My service provider says everything should be working fine, I still have the 3G symbol and full bars.

Somebody clearly hasn't read the User Guide.
Basic troubleshooting steps are retart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW.
If you have tried ALL of these steps and you're still having problems, then you need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

I am using a Mac and I'm running the latest versions of OS X 10.6.8 and Adobe 11.0.10 but I'm unable to print. I need REAL HELP not a suggestion or a get around! and NO print as an image doesn't work, nor do I see that as a fix!

I assume you are using transitions. This is not a bug - it is how iMovie handles transitions.
There are two settings for transition overlap - full and half. If you are using photos only, you may get the results you want by setting transition overlap to half.

In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first.

This filter is driving me crazy. I believe it could single-handedly redefine what we think of as being 'sharp' in digital imaging.
I'm re-thinking old pics I ignored because, at the time, I thought they were too soft to use.
Still, exactly what each slider does is not obvious. How does chosing different areas to analyse improve the filter?
Am I fine tuning something the more selections I make, or just making an ungodly mess of my image?
Will this look 'over processed' a year from now?

Has anyone found a solution to the login problem with Lion?

I upgrade my 27" iMac Quad-core last week to Lion and everything was fine. I shutdown after a software upgrade and now I can't log in. Of course, Apple support is closed. I tried a number of the solutions on this site to no avail. Has anyone found a solution? *** has apple done to my system?

Don't know if my problem is same as yours..after Lion install, frozen cursor in password field when logging in after starting up, beach ball. Couple of trips to Apple store, a number of phone calls to troubleshoot with Applecare. The last fellow who helped me found a workaround, just can't log in. He said engineers have reports of others with this problem so it's not just my machine but fix would probably come in software update. Been dealing with this since first week of Lion download. Hopefully they'll fix it eventually. I can use macbook now, but don't like not being able to have a screen login via password. No plans to ever again download a new op system on a mac...had no trouble installing win7 on older dell from vista.

I am seeing an irritating problem with the default mail account, calendar and contacts list on my iPhone 4.
Every so often (I think it happens randomly after syncing or even just connecting the iPhone to my iMac without syncing) I notice that some or all of my default email account, calendar and contacts list have changed away from my desired default (which is my Exchange account).
The iPhone is running iOS 4.3.5 (8L1) and I'm using iTunes 10.4.1 on my iMac.
I found this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1639451 dating back 2 years to the days of iOS 2.1 without any solution. Googling hasn't helped me find any answers yet.
I have 5 accounts set up on the iPhone - a MobileMe "Find my phone" account that's only used for that purpose, not email, a GMail account, a couple of vanilla IMAP accounts and my main, Exchange 2010-based account that I use for mail, contacts and calendar.
Most frequently after a change I find that the default email has switched to the GMail account, the calendar and contacts lists have switched to my iPhone and most of my Exchange account mail folders are empty and have to re-sync when I tap on them.
I know from Googling that other people have been seeing similar issues.
Has anyone found a workaround or solution?

I find it difficult to believe this issue has existed so long in iOS without being addressed!

10810 Error Message - has anyone found a fix?

This error message has been plaguing me for at least two weeks. I am forced to restart my computer every time this "10810 error message" starts, because it will not open an application. At this point, every time I turn on the computer, it occurs.
I also notice a processor background noise like I've never noticed before - like the computer is working extra hard, when it is only on standby screen saver.
Has anyone run into this issue and found a solution?
