Has anyone got a "runtime error" when trying to search in itunes store?

has anyone got a "runtime error" when trying to search itunes store?

I assume since you are posting in the iTunes U for iOS forum that you are having issues with the IOS version of the app. What is the exact error message?
Can you participate in a course's discussion from iTunes U's Course Manager (https://itunesu.itunes.apple.com/coursemanager/)?

  • Network timeout error when trying to search in itunes

Every time I try to click on an app in the itunes app store, or do a search, I get the following error message:
"We could not complete your itunes store request. The network connection has timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your connection is active, and try again"
All browsers, email, and everything is working just fine with no issues. The itunes storefront pulls up just fine, but does not function when clicking on things due this (erroneous) error message. I cannot even do a search without getting this message.

I've been having the same issue for the last 4 days. Still happening, today. It's making it impossible to search for any tv shows or music. I click on a link in iTunes, it 'searches', and then times out. Sometimes I can get to that link after trying 4 or 5 times. Most times, I can't get in at all.
    I'm getting very frustrated.

  • Getting an "unknown error' when trying to sign into iTunes Store

When I try to sign into the iTunes store, it is giving me an "Unknown Error" message, without an error code or anything. I have tried restarting the computer and that didn't help. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
    Windows 8
    iTunes 11
    Thanks

I received this email from Apple and this corrected the problem for me...  I only had to reset the iTunes cache
    1) Open iTunes
    2) At the top menu, click File > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac)
    3) In the Preferences menu, click the Advanced tab
    4) In the Advanced menu, you should see a button that says "Reset Cache". Please click this button.

  • Itunes error when trying to acess the itunes store

    Hey guys,
I have had a new random problem with itunes.
I have just installed fresh and I get the windows changing to basic mode when ever I try to acess the itunes store.
This is very annoying because the screen flashes off for about 3-5 seconds then comes back. Once this has happend if I close the program the same 3-5 second flash happens then back to normal.
This only happens if I have my 3D set for my 2x680s in sli.
This is weird because this did not happen before I reinstalled, I had the gpus the same way before, Nothing has changed same drivers as I had befor I reinstalled.
I have tried compatability mode etc.. it seams that when I acess the itunes store it kicks my screen and gpus to 3D mode.
    Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

This can happen when iTunes attempts to connect to the iTunes store.
Continue to disconnect your computer from the internet and open iTunes.
Go to iTunes Menu Edit > Preferences, "Advanced" tab and click the "Reset Cache" button, OK.
Now, use Windows Explorer to delete the contents of Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Download
You may try open again while connecting to the internet.

  • "Unkown error" when trying to sign into itunes store

When I try to sign into the itunes store it says "unkown error" when I try to sign in. If I try again it prompts me to reset my password, which I did twice because I thought maybe I was just an idiot and forgot my password 3x, but that's not it. I can sign in fine online, apparently, using the password that I just reset. However, itunes still will not let me log in, and it's driving me nuts. I've signed out completely, I've restarted my computer, and it still wont let me log in.

Please help, because itunes customer support is full of incompetant, condescending, *********.

  • I received a Runtime error when trying to do an iTunes update: R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.

How do I resolve this problem. When I try to rerun the upgrade I keep getting same message.

First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

  • I get a runtime error when attempting to search the store in Itunes.  I unistalled and reloaded. How can I fix this?

I just began getting a runtime error when attempting to search the iTunes store.
I uninstalled and reinstalled but, it's still happening.
How can I fix this so I can start to buy music again?

I have the same error, but I think we will get no solution for this problem.
You've get no answer here and the Apple support also doesn't send an answer how to solve the problem.
BTW I have also Windows 7 and the newest version of iTunes 64-bit.
