Has anyone got the IIS Policy Agent 3.0 working with an ASP web application
Hi,
Can anyone pllease please confirm if they have managed to get the IIS Policy Agent 3.0 working for a asp/asp.net web site on IIS 7 running on Windows Server 2008 64 bit.?
I have installed the 32bit version of the agent as my web site must support 32 bit applications.
I have created a simple web site which works fine with the policy agent configured if the page is html, If I rename the html page to be of type asp I get an Object Move error.
I would much appreciate if someone could confirm if they have managed to get an asp web site working with the policy agent.
Note: The Policy Agent 2.2 worked perfectly with asp on IIS 6.0.

I managed to make Agent 3 work with IIS 7 for a sample application based on aspx in Dev environment .... after modifying the sample application, I got the same errors as "Object removed" and others .... I have no idea what the hell. Fortunately, a super .Net start here spent a few minutes to do some twicking on IIS, and make it work again .... don't ask me what he did, I am pretty dump, and no idea. :)

and now am stuck with an old version of QT and no version of IT! Can't update iPod, can't do crap. How slow can Apple be to fixing whatever bug is in IT6?! It's obvious that alot of people are having trouble and many of us are having the exact same or similar problems. Apparently a call to support is no help.
MarkI didget QT stand alone to install. I had the error -3 message. I unistalled itunes and quicktime. Then I reinstalled using my orginal ipod disc. I then was asked to upgrade to ipod 6 or something. Which I did. Still got the error -3. Then I got the QT stand alone to install by it self and every thing works great now. There was some thing stating if I wanted to "Unistall QT for windows" I said yes. There were some error associated with removing "QT for Windows" during the install but after that it works great. It took something like 20 min. for it to download when it took itunes only 7 min. to download earlier.

My apps will not download to iPad 2 This is something that has just recently happened. Have tried re-booting but that makes no difference .

Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes under devices and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up menu. Then sync with iTunes again. Don't eject the iPad yet. If you still don't see the apps on the iPad - click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right and see if they show up on any of the iPad screens. If they do - make sure that all of the apps are selected (checked) to sync - (checkmarks in the boxes next to the app names) - check to make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked and as well and then sync again. You may have to click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes if the apps were not selected to sync. -

I'm trying to use speech recognition to input text on my iMac running the latest mountain lion, 10.8.3.
I have sticky keys enabled.
When I try to start speaking by pressing the function key twice nothing happens. I can only get it to work if I disable sticky keys.
The same problem occurs with all the other modifier keys as shortcut, they do not work with sticky keys.
When I try to select a different shortcut, I am unable to select a two key combination, but am limited to one.
If I select the F6 key, or any other single key, I am able to start speech recognition. However the second time that I press the key, it does not stop recognition and process my words. Instead, it restarts the recognition.
Has anyone figured out how to get speech recognition working with sticky keys enabled?
Or a way to get an individual key shortcut to start on the first press and process it on the second?
Or a way to get key combinations to work, as specified by the help:

To use Dictation, click On.
When you’re ready to dictate text, place the insertion point where you want the dictated text to appear and press the Fn (function) key twice. When you see the lighted microphone icon and hear a beep, the microphone is ready for you to speak your text.
Shortcut
By default, you press the Fn (Function) key twice to start dictation. If you like, you can choose a different shortcut from the menu.
To create a shortcut that’s not in the list, choose Customize, and then press the keys you want to use. You can press two or more keys to create your shortcut.I noticed with version 10.8.4 of OS X that I am now able to select F6 to activate, and the return key to complete the speech recognition. This is still different than the description of how these should function that's included in the help, but at least it's an improvement.

Has anyone got the Lion Server wiki to work?
I can get the Lion Server wiki to work on the default website, but cannot figure out how to get it to work on an additional website I have created in the Server app. Has anyone got this to work? If so, how do you do it? I imagine it has something to do with an alias or something in one of the conf files in /etc/apache2/sites, but cannot get past this. Thank you in advance for any guidance.
I finally relented and just put all of my website files in the /Library/Server/Web/Data/Sites/Default directory and got my wiki running off of my website properly at www.mydomainname.com/wiki. I am still looking for a way for having this wiki to run off of a website that is not stored in the Default directory if someone knows how to do that. It would also be nice to have several wikis served up (one per website, or even several per website) by the wiki server in the same way that more than one website can be served up by the web server. Anyway, the problem is solved for now.

I have a cRIO Profinet card and I'm attempting to get the example code working.
I have followed the instructions in GettingStarted_cRIO_PN_IO_Device.pdf
I have created an empty project with just the 9023 and 9113 present, and copied the 3 items from the example project cRIO PN IO-Device (LV 2012) as per the documentation.
When I try to compile I get the error shown attached. I cannot view the error as the VI is password protected.
In 5 years of working with cRIO using many different c-series modules from NI and 3rd parties I have never come across a password protected example Vi - this is very disappointing! I don't see how it will be possible to use the card without being able to access this VI, and clearly it is impossible to use it without this VI as they are unwilling to share its functionality.
Has anyone got this working on anything other than a 9104 (which the example uses?) Does anyone know the password? Is it possible to use the card without using this example code?
I will be communicating with a Siemens PLC (acquiring a load of U16s and logging on the cRIO at 20ms intervals).
Many thanks for any input, or any experiences of using this card.

LabVIEW (RT/FPGA) 2013 SP1.
I didn't use the higher level ComSoft example code directly, as the VIs use so many control/indicators that the FPGA usage is sky high. I rewrote them to pass the I/O data via DMA FIFOs. -
Has Anyone gotten the HP USB Tunner (KS523AA) to work on a Sandy Bridge Laptop (DV7-4290us)
Just Wondering what the heck the deal is. I have two older DV7s that do work with their TV Tuner But this new one is driving me nuts. I also noticed that it appears HP has changed MediaSmart in that on the two older laptops the module/program that is used to watch/record live TV is called MediaSmart Live TV. On this new laptop the Module appears to be MediaSmart Movies and TV. So I was also wondering if anyone with a Windows 7 Home Premium has gotten the MediaSmart Movies and TV program to work with the KS523AA tuner.
Since this is one of the Sandy Bridge laptops (with the Intel Chip problem I may end up returning the entire laptop) so has anyone gotten the KS523AA working on either a DV7-4280us or an Envy 17-1190NR

Has anyone got the SecureProxy feature working with IIS 5.0 and 6.0 SP2?
I can get the IIS plugin to proxy fine when the SecureProxy=OFF but when
I set it to ON, I get the following

Has anyone successfully translated an inbound EDI 850 4010 file via B2B?
We are using 11.1.1.4 weblogic, B2B Document Editor 6.6.0.2801
Eventually, it needs to be integrated to SOA
For us, it is failing on the console with B2B-50037: B2B inbound message processing error & SOA diagnostic log has the following errors:
oracle.mds.core.MetadataNotFoundException: MDS-00013: no metadata found for metadata object "/soa/b2b/EDI_X12/4010/850/New/Seeded_850_4010.ecs
B2B-50025: Repository error at oracle.tip.b2b.mds.QueryManager.getBlob(QueryManager.java:2904)Seems your B2B repository has got corrupted. You are using older version of B2B Document Editor but it will not cause this issue.
Take an export of your B2B repository, purge the design time repository and re-import it again. Deploy the agreement and test again.

Has anyone got the AirPort Client Update 2009-00 to work
As I have frequently posted here SL has killed my Airport.
Having waited patiently for FOUR MONTHS Apple have finally issued AirPort Client Update 2009-00.
It makes no difference to me.
Has this actually worked for anyone?In my case, I bought my MBP with Tiger then upgraded to SL and it made my airport behave randomly soo I opted to roll back the OS until a fix is made to the issue.

Has anyone got the B500 to work with Ubuntu? (nvidia driver problems)
In two weeks, I have been completely unable to get the nvidia driver working with the B500 on Linux. No matter what I try to do, the X server doesn't start, and my /var/log/Xorg.0.log file ends with "fatal server error: no screens found." I have tried feeding a custom modeline to xorg.conf, explicitly calling an EDID file which I extracted from the Windows installation, using the upstream nvidia driver installer, using the official repository driver, and probably a bunch of other stuff that I'm not recalling right now.
Versions I've tried this on:
Kubuntu 10.04, 32- and 64-bit
Ubuntu 10.04, 32-bit
Kubuntu 9.10, 32-and 64-bit
I am stumped. Has anyone successfully gotten this to work?

Short version of the fix:
1. Extract the edid from the Windows partition using softMCCS, saving as edid.bin
2. Save the edid.bin file in /etc/X11 (or wherever you like)
3. Include the following in the device section of your xorg.conf:
"Option" "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP-0"
"Option" "CustomEDID" "DFP-0:/etc/X11/edid.bin"
Fire up X and you're good to go. -
Has anyone got DiskWarrior 4.2 - 4.3 to work w/ Snow Leopard?
My iMac is totally up to date and I've tried both DW 4.2 and 4.3 on it and it will NOT let me boot up from that DW disk. It's always the ownsership issue. I tried their tech 'help' person with no luck. He just tells me to not use a wireless keyboard and other stuff like download to a DVD, not a CD. I've spent easily 20 hours messing around with no luck.
I hold down the C key and it always just comes back to the regular desktop. Anyone got a sure-fire fix for this? I've read online that Snow Leopard just won't let DW work anymore. Worst of all, Apple blames THEM for the issue and DW blames Apple.You have to have a valid Mac operating system on the external hard drive in order to boot from it. (By the way, holding the 'C' key forces the computer to boot from a system DVD disc if there's one in the optical drive. It has nothing to do with booting from a hard drive. Holding the 'Option' key will booting will bring up a menu showing all the valid system drives your computer knows about.)
Copying DW to the external drive isn't enough. You first need to put an OS on it. There are two methods: Use a program like CCC to copy (clone) your current drive) or use your restore disc to install the Mac OS on the external drive. Since your computer's drive is not well, I suggest the latter.
So get your system disc (probably the grey disc that came with the computer when it was new, or the Snow Leopard disc if you upgraded to SL after buying y our computer.) Insert the disc, restart the computer - and now hold the 'C' key until you see the grey Apple logo.
Check out this article on how to format an external hard drive. Then install the Mac OS on the drive.

Can anyone help me with this one? I have previously used PSE6. When opening a RAW image I have first gone through a RAW Editor screen before editting in PSE6. When I open a RAW image in the TRIAL version of PSE8 it takes me straight to the PSE Editor
