Has anyone had a problem connecting to Edge network?

Got my phone yesterday and it worked flawlessly. I drained the battery and charged it over night.
So I wake up today and try to see what the weather is going to be. It says error updating, so Im like w t f? So I try to open a webpage(using edge) and it doesn't load google and the iPhone says "Safari can't open the page because it an't fid the server."
Has anyone had this issue? Could it be the Edge network or my phone its self? I used the WiFi just now and it worked fine but I need edge to be working.

When it happens to me a have to do a reset of the iphone and it fixes it. Hold down the top button and the round button on the buttom of the screen together for 10 seconds until the iphone powers off. Next hold down the power buttong for a second or 2 untill you get the apple logo on the screen.
Must be a bug.

I had this problem. I held down the power switch to power down completely. Takes a few seconds. Then use the power switch to turn on. Might take a couple goes.

Having the same issue after downloading the lastest version of itunes. Apple is going to lose me as a customer, if this keeps up with their software updates. They never seem to work.
Really, they should want me to be able to access their store. That's money out of their pocket.
Honestly, I don't know why Apple doesn't have a techie monitering their support threads trying to help fix issues.

Has anyone had this problem with IPad 3 after upgrade to IOS 7,
trying to to connect VPN , but I get this messag, "could not validate the server certificate".
I am trying to connect to Oracle VPN.

Has anyone found a solution for this yet? I am still getting the could not validate server certificate error. I have tried importing the entire certificate chain as well as importing each individual cert in the chain. My certificate works perfectly with the cisco vpn on my pc.
This is my first experience owning an apple product, and I am very disappointed with the customer support that I have received. I tried calling the help line and no one would even attempt to answer my question. I was then told that the Mac "geniuses" wouldn't know either and that I may be able to find an answer on the message boards. So I thought I would try it at my friends house but I had the same problem. the Internet connection and wifi were on, as our iPhones were working through wifi. Try this.
    Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

Hi, one question & one suggestion...
What possible things are connected at home but not at the store, inlude every cable, etc.
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

When I plug in my ear pod, my 6th generation ipod will play for 60 sec then shut off. If i restart it will play for another 60 sec. Has anyone had this problem?

Has anyone had this problem? With earbuds connected the ipod keeps turning itself off. I then have to turn it on and it will play for another 60 sec and shut off.

Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the iPod. There will be a noticeable click, and you may need to push harder than expected.

I have an iPad 1 and am being prompted to upgrade to the latest version software. Has anyone had any problems when doing this? Our PC runs on Wndows 7.
Having just resolved iTunes not connecting to the store after the recent upgrade, I'm reluctant to do something that could potentially screw up the iPad which does what we want as it is.

That's probably a good idea. If you are happy with the system as is, I'd wait to upgrade. I can report that my friends and family have mostly upgraded to iOS 5 without any problems, but as you can probably tell from other posts on this board, lots of people have run into problems.

When I try download new os 5.1.0 on my iPhone 4 I get this error message "stopped (err = -3259)" after it has downloaded. Has anyone had this problem and if so what is the fix.

When I try to download iPhone OS 5.1.0 on my PC I get this message "stopped (err = -3259)"and says it timed out at the server after the entire download. I have tried 3 times, it takes about 8 min. to download the 790.7 MB file. Has anyone had this problem and what is the fix?

I have a number of hard drives that my Mac Book Pro no longer 'recognises' at least for very long. When I turn them on the deskstop icon shows up but then shortly afterwards I get a message saying that it has been unplugged incorrectly. I haven't unplugged it any of them. Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.
