Has anyone had any consistent success using DTM for Mac's??????

If you did - share how.
I have read for hours, tried so many things and still no success. Once in a blue moon - maybe.
I love my Storm, but at times when DTM deletes all my info - it may end up in the trash.
I'm looking for a simple straight forward way to get this to work.
All I need to sync is iCal.
If Verizon had the iphone - I would switch in a minute - I bet that would sync without issue.

I also had Missing Sync on my Mac, but I uninstalled it before installing BB DM for Mac. When BB DM 1.0.2 came out, the old DM uninstaller failed, so I used a 3rd party app to uninstall it before installing the update.
I was able to successfully update the BB OS using the first version of DM for Mac.
Nevertheless, I've had extremely frustrating problems. (iCal events duplicated, items created or changed on BB not getting synced, calendar items and memos erased during sync, etc.)
I have BusySync installed so that iCal syncs with Google Calendar. Would that cause a problem? If so, then BB DM for Mac is absolutely unusable for my purposes.

I am afraid its worsen then THAT!!. I bought two licences from those fraud spammers, liftetime with "satisfaction or moneyback guarentee".
Both my Imac and MacPro kept crashing after installing it. All the helpdesk from zeobit did for me was sending me mails i should re-install osx and mackeeper.
When that didnt help, the gave in. I asked my money back, as in the guarentee. Thet denied flat out. "Sir this is not OUR software causing the problem, but OSX. Go there with your complained!"
Alsoo there newsletter......i UNLISTED 9 times now and still i get 5-8 spam mails a week.
It´s a fraud a company !!

Has anyone had luck streaming videos using Brightcove?

Are videos are located on a video server hosted by Brightcove in MP4 format. Using a web object in Captivate 8 we are able to embed the url and view the project fine. Once we publish and upload to our LMS, the course crashes once the url is encountered.
Has anyone had any success out there?

Just in case anyone else has this issue, we resolved it simply by changing our browser setting to allow mixed/unsecure content which for the time being allowed us to identify the issue.

I have had my new intel imac 20" for 2 weeks now and i like it a lot...
except I have been getting crashes on imovie (especially), and garageband.
I have had about 10 crashes total so far in about 2 weeks.
Is this sound normal?

How much spare hard disc space have you got? ..Could your disc be so clogged that there's no room for any more movie?
You'll need about 10% of your total hard disc space - e.g; 6GB for a 60GB hard disc - to be kept empty for your Mac to do its "housekeeping" (..creating temporary files, indexing things, and so on..) and iMovie footage uses about 13GB per hour of video.
So if you have a 60GB hard disc, and it's only got 15GB spare, then 6GB of that will really be needed by the Mac itself, giving you about 9GB of usable space, and if you import half an hour of video (6GB) and start cutting it around and editing the audio too, and duplicating a few clips, and adding stills, you're soon going to run out of space!
If your Mac's disc is almost full, you'll probably need to get an external FireWire disc ..say a 160GB or similar size.. then format it as 'Mac OS Extended' (..by selecting that add-on disc and using the 'Erase' tab in the Disk Utility program..) and then you can copy your project over to that new, empty disc, and continue editing it there.

Has anyone had any problems with their charger blowing out?

Has anyone had any problems with their charger blowing out? mine blew, there's now a charred pin on the charger and in the socket of the macbook. The plastic around the charge socket is also cracked & distorted from the blow-out. It wasn't a power surge as no other electrical items were affected. It wasn't liquid or dust, as I'm the only person who uses it & I'm very careful. I'm concerned that the consequences could have been terrible. I wasn't present when it happened though, I can just see the evidence after the event.
I have a mid 2010 13" Macbook running the latest software & use the original magsafe charger that came with it.
Will I have to fork out for a costly repair or is there a safety issue that Apple will sort out for me?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

If so or if not please specify what version of logic you have, what computer since only the new Mac Pro's have 16 virtual cores, and any other information or reference saying how to or how its not possible. This seems to be a question many users need to find out before upgrading to a new mac. Thanks!

I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Can't stay on the internet... but will sell you another one today! I'm getting mad... Check how many applications are starting when you log in, I found that if there was a lot of activity at login Finder did not display the icons on the desktop correctly, again like you it did not occur at every login, just occasionally.
For Safari have you tried resetting Safari, if that does not help you could disable plugins and extensions one at a time. You may find one of those is causing the problem.

Has anyone had problems with Domayne using generic third party RAM for memory upgrades? My RAM is now faulty and had to be removed, but Apple wont replace it under Apple Care because its not a genuine component?

The computer was purchased in the knowledge that all components and hardware were genuine and subsequently covered by the Apple Care warranty.
Domayne replaced the genuine components (8GB stick) with generic components (2x 16GB sticks) to save money and boost margin.
Apple should not allow this misleading, profiteering behaivour. This behaviour is brand damaging. Apple must maintain more control over their supply chain.

I have an iPad 1 and am being prompted to upgrade to the latest version software. Has anyone had any problems when doing this? Our PC runs on Wndows 7.
Having just resolved iTunes not connecting to the store after the recent upgrade, I'm reluctant to do something that could potentially screw up the iPad which does what we want as it is.

I better not! My iMac is only a week old. And, if I did have any problems with it, I would let Apple deal w/it! I do not troubleshoot when I'm under warranty. That's Apple job!

I had a similar experience with mac e-mail where apparently someones ICLOUD id for their Iphone was created with an Alias I had @mac.com for years. Originally thought the mail was phishing and deleted without opening - then received forwarded mail from the other persons non-apple account - so gave feedback through mail to apple and also sent an email to the other persons non-apple account from a non-apple account telling them I was getting their mail because it was my alias.
That person did get apple to untangle the accounts so I did have to reset my password once it was done.
So one option would be to contact apple support to get them to find out what is going on with your account.
E-mail contact of the other person was easy once I had a legit account to send to -- don't know how you would contact the other person in notes.

Before I take the plunge, has anyone had success updating to 2.0? I am sure there must be some who are enjoying themselves now, so if you have been successful, was there a trick or are some people simply having problems?

Yes - I just upgraded to 2.0 about an hour and a half ago. I was fighting an issue with not being able to backup my phone prior to the upgrade (unknown error -43, which I finally tracked down to iTunes not playing nicely with a redirected Application Data folder). I ended up backing up the phone on my laptop and running the upgrade from there. Entire process took about 30 minutes to download the update, upgrade the phone, restore my settings, etc. - and it even activated immediately upon completion, and I had two new text messages that came through right away . . .
