Has anyone had experience with the new moire slider under the adjustment brush in LR4?

There's a new moire removal tool under the adjustment brush in LR4. In the near future I expect to have photos that contain moire patterns. Has anyone used this tool yet? I'd like to get an inkling as to how effective it is.

There is an example of moiré on the Nikon Imaging site for the D800E.

I was able to reduce the moiré significantly, but not eliminate it with the Lightroom 4 adjustment brush. I haven't found any software solutions that can completely repair moiré. The Lightroom 4 feature seems about as good as any I've tried.

@tata - we're having the same trouble, and the only solution we've found doesn't fix it.
1) uninstall
2) login on PC/MAC and change password
3) reboot iphone
4) install facebook app, reboot again
5) login from iphone.
No joy.
Safari works, but not for the apps.
Of course, it's Facebook that has to fix this.

Oh no, Robinbird18! This is not what we like to hear about your cell phone. It makes it pretty hard to have a conversation with someone when you can't hear them. If you make a phone call out are you able to have a conversation with someone without any issues? How long has this been going on? There's no reason for a standard external USB hard drive enclosure not to work on a Mac. The technology is an industry standard. As you don't link to the specific item, we can't say anything about the quality, ect... but I guess for $1 you don't have much to loose. So long as you're sure the drive you have is an older IDE drive (as most drive for the past few years have been SATA). I guess that may be why they're selling so cheap as IDE drives are pretty rare in notebooks anymore.

Has anyone had trouble with the MacBook Pro Hardcase cover?

I bought a black hardcase cover for my MacBook Pro half a year ago, today i decided to remove it again. When i took it of (after fighting with it) there was dark spots and scratches all over. Has anyone had the same problem? And how should i reacht? If i want to sell the computer now, the price will be much lower that it would be without the scratches.

Like JoeyR said, you can complain to Incase, but I doubt there's anything they will be able to/willing to do about your problem. If the aluminum has been scratched, the only way to get rid of those scratches is to either resurface the metal, or replace the display assembly. The former is not an option, and the latter will be way too expensive. You can give it a go, and try to get Incase to pay for the process. But chances are really low. Just avoid using those hard plastic cases in future. I never use them, and my MBP 15 is as good as new! Just take care of your mac, don't drop it, don't put it in a bag with pins, needles, blades, pens etc ( or use a sleeve) and don't drag it around rough surfaces. That is more than enough to keep the aluminum scratch and dent free. The reason Apple uses Aluminum unibody is because it's tough and durable.

Did you check with Verizon to make sure that your destination country would allow the device you have to connect? The possibility is that this country does not have (or you are not in range) a carrier that uses CDMA. If the carriers in this country use GSM you may be out of luck. VZW cannot guarantee service in any country outside the USA.

II've had issues with the accelerometer in the iPhone 6 plus. I went from landscape mode and then went into podcast app. I went to the search tab and this is the keyboard that came up:
This isn't the only issue with the accelerometer though. I've also come out of clash of clans which is a landscape only mode game. I go to my home screen and my wallpaper is in landscape still but my apps are in portrait? The seems to be some RAM issues with the iPhone 6 plus but I'm not sure if that has any issue with the transition from landscape to portrait.

That's definitely odd, we certainly need to get to the bottom of this so you can use it safely while driving. Have you been able to use it in the past without completing the factory reset? The factory reset deleted everything from your phone, is that the type of reset you're doing? If so, you need to pair your phone every time, which explains the problem. Is your car compatible with the phone? Some cars are not compatible, in this case some features work but not all. Use http://vz.to/11fpca7 to review compatibility.

Sometimes the button does not register with Firefox. And sometimes FF acts like I pressed it several times.

Sounds like a mouse on its' way to mouse-heaven. Seriously, the exact symptoms I have seen with a dozen 3 button mouse's (?meese - ?mice) over the last 15 years. <br />
Not registering a click is usually due to a dirty contact. And the "double-click" is when the flat spring looses tension and bounces.
I have had similar happen with the left button, too. But when it happens to that button it is more noticeable much sooner.
I bought a box of a dozen A4D house branded infrared wireless 3-button mouse's for like $24.00 back in 2000 that were on clearance because the driver disk didn't support W2K, only Win95, 98, and NT4. I got newer drivers from the A4D website and wore all 12 out over the 8 or 9 years. I even fixed a few that broke from the parts from other broken mouse's. I still have 6 or 7 of them laying in the "needs to be fixed" box under my workbench. I'll probably never fix them though, the nano receiver USB mouses I have been using for the 4 or 5 years have much better battery life and lately only need one AA battery.

We just purchased a new Mac Pro and transferred everything from the old computer to the new one. Now we are getting Adobe Application Manager errors and it wants us to download Application Manager. That leads us to the Adobe Installer that encounters the following issues

Yep, half of my tracks are coming up displaying an error -69 ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302684 ) and every time I remove a track from the shuffle or update the shuffle, Itunes opens a window displaying the contents of J:\ (obviously the ipod) and hidden folder \iPod_Control.... I'm really irked with this. Been mucking around with the stupid thing for hours now.
Nothing was wrong with it until it suddenly decided to stop working, it wouldn't play tracks and Itunes wouldn't recognise it, hadn't missed a beat up till now. Sifted through the Support site for an answer and getting told I needed to update Itunes and update the Ipod software, ***?? It was working fine before. Me thinks Apple have inserted software in ipod to force users to update to newer version of Itunes. Anyway, ever since updating to the latest Itunes, the Ipod is back in action, but it is trying to tell me that half of my mp3s are corrupt (see error -69), rofl, um no, it's your stupid software Apple, I'm off to by myself a decent MP3 player without the bloat software.

Unfortunately, I was one of countless folks that encountered issues with their iTunes on the previous download (mine did the whole choppy, skip thing whenever I tried to play music). I was able to rectify that with a suggestion posted here (NOWOOL was the author and many thanks by the way).

Has anyone had issues with the latest i-tunes update 11.1.4 on Windows Vista

I downloaded the update on 24th Jan, and when I tried to open i-tunes after that it failed to start and the message was MSVCR80.dll and the window suggested that I remove and re-install i-tunes.
I did this and then my CD/DVD drive was not recognised. I then decided to go for a system restore prior to the update. When I did this i-tunes worked again but a window opens every 30seconds saying 'Mobile device helper is not working' At one point I had 116 windows open. Has anyone else had this problem or can offer any advice please? I have an i-pod classic and my system is windows vista which is approx 8yrs old. I have never had any problem with i-tunes updates before.

Has anyone had issues with the backing of 5c coming apart from phone?

I have the 5C and always keep a case on it. I noticed today that on the left corner, the back casing is coming off of the phone. I am not happy with this and want to go in the store but I know they will tell me I dropped the phone. I am anal retentive about taking care of my phone. Has anyone else had this issue?

Has anyone had problems with the clock app in iOS 6?

The clock app has been updated and now allows me to use a song as my alarm tone. Have been wanting apple to do this for a long time. Problem is that when alarm goes off I get no sound. The phone just vibrates. I do not have the phone muted. Guessing this is a glitch in the app? Anyone else having similar problem?

Been using iOS 6 now for a couple weeks on an iPad 2 and twice have relied on it as an alarm clock. Both times it's failed to play the song I've designated as the alarm. I've tried it with the cover open and closed, volume maxed and not. Each time, after the designated alarm time, I've opened the iPad up & entered the security code only to be greeted by the alarm message pop up. That's it.
Kinda frustrating, to say the least.
Am I using it incorrectly? Having used the clock on the iPhone this way in earlier versions of iOS, I've never had an issue. Would like to leverage this functionality, but being 0 for 2, not sure I want to risk a third time...
Thoughts?
