Has anyone had problems synching contacts from iPad?

I have a new iPad, wi-fi only, that I use at my office to add contacts, birthdays, reminders, notes, and calendar items. I do not have wi-fi at my office so I come home to wi-fi so that my day's work will synch to my iPhone and iCloud. Everything synchs automatically except contacts, which will only synch if I edit each and every one. Apple support and engineering have worked on a solution but to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how die you handle it?

I have not experienced the same, but if you are syncing contacts over the air with your iCloud account on your iPad, confirm all contacts are available with your iCloud online address book - login via webmail access using a browser to confirm this.
After confirming all contacts are available online, try turning contacts off for over the air syncing with your iCloud account on your iPad. A warning message will be provided indicating this will remove all iCloud contacts on your iPad. If an option is provided to save the contacts locally on your iPad, decline that prompt.
Follow this by turning Contacts back on for over the air syncing.

If you are really running iOS 3.1.2 as your signature suggests, that is likely the issue. Many apps now require iOS 4.3 or higher.

Same problem, but a c.2009 iMac running OS X 10.9.1. Just happened overnight. Presently, I'm able to access my HD via wireless via laptop and copying all non-backed up files to an external drive. So far, Paula is the only other person I've found with this same problem and hers was three years ago! Going to keep searching for an answer.

Ok, if that's the way it works that's the way it works. Atleast until you suggest a feature change and it gets reprogrammed. And an option (other than the SHOW DATE/SHOW TIME) is not necessary, just the time showing WHEN the channel info disappears.
I have also seen and heard what looks like RF interference. A small amount of line noise (a couple partial lines only) and crackling that does not happen all the time. Is it possible that some device or appliance in my house or the houses on either side of my home can cause RF interference with the FIOS equipment??
As for the issue with the guide, IMHO that sux! Basically you are telling me I am forced to pay an extra $8/month just to have the channel guide? Even with basic Cable (Time Warner) a guide was available! How about a guide channel like TWC

Yes, I have had problems playing burned IDVD's on stand alone dvd players and on pc's.
I have set the burn speed to 4x and as low as 2x to no avail.
I will try Verbatim discs and DVD-R to see if that resolves my problem.
I will also make sure of the minimum of 25 gb free space on hard disk.
Do you prefer a particular cleaning-dvd? I've never used one on my macmini.

Has anyone had problems with Domayne using generic third party RAM for memory upgrades? My RAM is now faulty and had to be removed, but Apple wont replace it under Apple Care because its not a genuine component?

The computer was purchased in the knowledge that all components and hardware were genuine and subsequently covered by the Apple Care warranty.
Domayne replaced the genuine components (8GB stick) with generic components (2x 16GB sticks) to save money and boost margin.
Apple should not allow this misleading, profiteering behaivour. This behaviour is brand damaging. Apple must maintain more control over their supply chain.
Has anyone had any expirenece with this problem?

I have had Iphones for years, and since getting the iphone 5 i have had problems syncing my audiobooks from my macbook pro to my phone.
The majority of my sudio files are books, and for some reason I can only sync certain books to my new phone. It is beyond frustrating since I have probably $2000.00 worth of audiobooks that i will listen to over and over again every year or so. I clearly dont have enough space on my phone to hold all of my audiobooks, so I have always managed them through itunes. Its almost like the books are not there anymore because even when selected as the only book to sync they do not show up on my phone. Yet I can listen to them through my mackbook pro, and some of the books will sync when others wont!!!
Has this happened to anyone else and if so any ideas on cause and correction?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!! This is driving me crazy and im thinking of taking my macbook and phone to the genius bar tomorrow to figure it out unless I get an answer here.
