Maybe a bit beside the question, but it is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky, at least for a while, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

I have been an ardent user of aperture for years now and got used to the great workflow. Ever since version 1 I have been enjoying working with aperture. It is the workflow that kept me from changing.
I got a new MacPro 12 GB ram, 4TB HDD my library mostly indexed files sits on a raided 2TB for maximum of comfort. I did this in an effort to keep me from writing the posts I writing lately. I do not have the time rally to do this but reality is something different.
Today I am working on a job I need to finish quickly and in aperture workflow manner. I upgraded to mavericks and it seems to be running ok. However, my keynote, pages, numbers and mail still look the same. The update section on the APP store tells me they have been intalled but that is not the case. Has anyone experienced the same issue?
You have to download them from the app store. They should come up under the update option if you already have the iwork apps. They are available for free (thanx apple) if you go to the store after installing Mavericks and select them.
Now don't be thrown off because the link (icon) in the dock is the same. There is a updated icon for each app. I got thrown off because I had purchased ilife before the app store and back then, all would go into a folder (iWork '09). I could launch the old apps from the 09 set even after I installed the new ones from the app store. Some of us find this a godsend as the options on the new apps are lacking some power options.
Download the new apps and just pull the old icons off of the dock and watch them going up in a puff of smoke! -
The camera on my iPhone 4 isn't working and hasn't for quite sometime. I have updated the phone to IOS 6 and it hasn't made any difference.
When you use the icon that appears at the bottom of the screen or the camera icon on the main screen all you see is the camera shutter.I have tried to restore the camera and that hasn't made any difference. Hi, I recently bought Apple TV 2nd gen. I can, after a while, get access to my library but when I start to play movies I cannot get sound. Has anyone had a similar experience? If so what did you do to overcome the problem?
Do the movies contain both stereo and 5.1 audio.

I was using ITunes to install IOS 6 on my 64GB IPad 2 when McAfee on my IMac (Software OS X 10.8.1 (12B19)) reported that it had found Malware and had put the offending file into quarantine. The IOS 6 install process then tried to re-write the file. This happened with three seperate files that the IOS 6 install process was attempting to write, effectivley causing a stall in the process. The only way I could get the install process to complete was to go into the McAfee preferences and change quarantine to notify. The process then completed. Has anyone else come across this problem?
Hmmmm... That did not work. I did the full restore on the ipod touch (Losing that is the lesser of the two evils if I screwed it up) and before I resynced it, I unplugged it and tried to plug it into the wall adapter. But it would not charge. Plugged it back into the computer and it popped right up with the lightning bolt on the battery and began charging.
So I resynced it and at least all my stuff is still there. Not going to bother trying with my phone if it didn't work on the ipod touch.
I can assure you my 4s is out of warranty. I've had it for 2 years.
