Has anyone in New Zealand had their Order statement changed to Preparing for Shipment?

Just want to know out of curiosity if anyones Ipod touch 5th Generations order statment has changed to Prepering for Shipment.

And yea believe me I was reluctant to cancel and lose my 157 spot (not that, that really matters) but I called a rep, because my email originally said, card declined, update card information. and they said contact customer service over phone. And the Rep I got was acting like she couldn't change anything on the order. she talked to other tech support and thats wht the tech support told her. So i dont know why the email told me differently. So she was the one who told me to cancel and make a new order.
I had to call my bank and reactivate my card because they unactivated when they thought it was a suspicious charge.
Whole reason for the post is, card still has not been charged so wondering if that is ordinary or if something is still going on with my bank. Again I ordered around 2 P.M. EST, so did anyone else around that time order and their card has already been charged?

To give you an idea of the timeframe to receive an iPod Touch:
I preordered an iPod Touch (5th generation) red 32gb with engraving on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. Status changed to preparing for shipment on Thursday, Oct. 18, and shipped by Fed Ex on Saturday, Oct. 20. My iPod Touch travelled: KUNSHAN CN- SHANGHAI CN- ANCHORAGE, AK- MEMPHIS, TN- OAKLAND, CA-PACHECO, CA- CONCORD, CA-Delivered on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.

Order changes to "Prepared for shipment" then back to "Not yet shipped"

Any idea why? I called Apple Customer Service but they could not give me any reason...one guy I spoke to said he doesnt see ANY activity saying that it ever changed. Am I missing something?

Had the same thing happen. It was because I ordered two phones through Apple.com and somehow they both got processed under the same phone number. I believe it was an issue an their end because it should have been allowed to happen in the first place. The reason it probably changed back is because Apple reconfirms again just prior to shipment that the number is still available for upgrade. If the line has a payment past due, has already been upgraded, etc - it will hold shipment. they will eventually send you an email within the next couple days telling you to call AT&T.
Unfortunately when I tried to get them to change it to another number on the same account (had an AT&T supervisor and Apple supervisor on the phone at the same time to try and do this) Apple would not change it and said all they could do was cancel the order and start a new one with a ship date of 3 weeks out!
I canceled and decided I'll wait till iPhone 4(B).

Is there any way to cancel an iPhone 5 order once its in "Preparing for Shipment" status?

I only ask because I'm looking at two weeks for delivery when I could just go to a Sprint store today and get one myself.

Same problem - I pre-ordered - now I have to wait.

I would like to help determine what is causing this.
What exactly are you seeing that is poor quality in the video from your EOS Rebel T4i?
What are you using to edit your video?
What settings are you using to edit the video?
When you refer to SD, are you referring to the card in the camera or Standard Definition video?
If you prefer a mirrorless design, we do have the new EOS M. You may want to take a look at that model to see if it has the features you are looking for.

Has anyone felt the heat from their monitor?

I have a Penryn 2.8 GHz 24" iMac and I park my face fairly close to the screen (about 12 inches (30.5 cm) and I can feel the heat of the screen.
I took temperature readings with a lab thermometer on 9 points distributed on a grid across the screen and it averages about 103 degrees F(39.4 C), ranging from 101 F (38.3 C) to 107 F (41.6 C). These measurements were taken while the computer was idle with just the screen saver running and the brightness at maximum.
Has anyone felt the heat of their screen like this? Has anyone ever tried to measure it?
Where does all the heat come from, is it all derived from the backlight or from the computer itself (107 is from the upper left and the 101 is from the lower right)?

You might be interested in running SMCFanCOntrol to keep your temps down. I'd recommend keeping the HD under 50C and the Power Supply under 60C.

This sounds like a virus or malware program that has made its way onto your computer. I would ensure you have the latest virus definitions on your computer and run a thorough (complete) scan of your system. If this doesn't work, I would suggest you use Microsoft's Malware Removal Tool. You can download it at the link below. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Something happened during the download and froze iTunes. After spending three days searching these forums with the dead iPad, the only thing I got to work was to try downloading iOS 5 using my sons computer. This worked. However I cannot now get my computer's iTunes to sync with my iPad.. It contains the same error message (1602) and has the same problem as before. It is not an antivirus problem. I need some help too

Pre-Order but still "Prepared for Shipment"?

I noticed a lot of people getting their shipments early.
I ordered mine around 7pm on 6/15. I barely made the cutoff for the 6/24 shipment. My order still says, "Prepared for Shipment" with delivery on 6/24.
Anyone else in the same boat? I hope they ship it soon...doesn't it come from like China? If they don't ship it soon, what are the chances it will actually come on the 24th?

I ordered mine at 7:30 in Utah and received an email this morning saying I would get mine tomorrow. According to the Fedex site, it is in the sort center in my state. I am so excited. Have faith and hope that everything will work out fine. As the song goes, "Every little thing's gonna be alright.".
