I am having a few funny things happen to my mac book air like "linkbuck" ads dominating my screen and key board none responce type issues not to mention that I can not always log on to the internet or should I say that I get into a page (like the BBC) and fine that I can not go into one of their stories???

Has anyone picked materials from one storage location but confirmed TO to different storage location?

The business does not want to use MRP areas to segregate materials between service part and production. What they want to do is separate service parts on deliveries at our shipping storage types (915/916) from MRP view. This requirement is primarily for our international shipping area. We may pick parts for an international shipment and the parts will sit on the delivery - not goods issued because we don't want to invoice - for up to 3 months. During that time, MRP sees the inventory so replenishment is not done in a timely fashion or parts may get stolen from the shipment for a production requirement because the inventory is seen.
Could one solution be to create a non-MRP relevant storage location (say 1200) and place the shipping storage types in this storage location? Then when the transfer order creates, the system would show the source to be from the MRP relevant SLoc (1100), stype (130), bin (A-01-A), - these are examples - with the destination to be to non-MRP relevant SLoc 1200, stype 915, bin (dynamic using the delivery number) 0080745298? Has anyone had this type of request or know of a way to satisfy the business requirements without different MRP areas? They also do not want to have two transfer orders - one with a 601 movement and one with a 311 movement.
Any known solutions or outside-the-box thinking would greatly appreciated.

Even a non-MRP relevant storage location can be warehouse managed.
The stock is shown in any stock list as long it is not goods issued, no matter if it is stored in a
non-MRP relevant storage location.
Stock that is picked for a delivery is not available for others, it is reserved. A delivery is a MRP element and hence should be taken into consideration in the planning run.
A non-MRP relevant storage location will only solve your planning issues if you move the material there if it is not yet picked and allocated to a delivery.
Do your thieves really use SAP to check if the stock is there, or do they just see the stock in the warehouse? As said, the non-MRP relevant storage location will not solve this issue since the stock is still visible.

Has anyone had an email virus using hotmail with firefox?

As soon as I log in to my inbox, spam emails are generated to everyone in my contact list. They all have an attachment URL , which end in .PHP. I have tried to remove the virus with norton antivirus 2011, and Avast antivirus. Niether one can find the virus doing a full system scan. I use 2 other browsers, Chrome, and Internet explorer. The spam emails are not sent in the other 2 browsers, only in firefox, both versions, 3.6 and the new 4.0 beta. If you can help remove this virus please let me know.I removed 4.o beta and went back to 3.6 which seemed to stop the spam emails, until the last 3 days, when the virus emails are sent every time I log into my inbox. I've tried removing and reinstalling after cleaning the registry, going back to 3.6 then 4.0, so far nothing has worked. I can't find much info on the internet either.

I have been seeing a bit on the net that Apple Macs are being targeted by hackers.
I have seen the program Savos, anti virus & free root kit remover.

Most would say no, that macs do not need anti virus programs. They are subject to malware, however the user has to be tricked into intalling it. Unless you have a Windows partition, I personally wouldn't recommend wasting your money on an anti virus program. I just clicked on a website for black friday ads and when I did this virus scan thing came up on the screen and said that I had like 27 viruses on my computer??? I'm really concerned!! I was saying that I needed to download a virus protection to get rid of them, but I didn't. This is the first time I've had this kind of problem.
I went to "force quit" to close the web page and then restarted safari and now its acting fine....

Not really maulware but a scam...comes up periodically on each of my computers, four currently, with the same message. Purpose is to get you to think you really do have a virus and give them a credit card number and download software that will clean up your computer. Of course it clears it of viruses...never was one, or if there was the software couldn't do anything anyway.
You have to be very careful of popups like this, and especially of emails that come saying to click on their link for important information. Bogus email from banks and even the IRS have been going around. Neither banks nor IRS contacts people in this manner.
If you are concerned about virus protection, there is a very good Mac-friendly program called ClamXAV that you can Google, it is a free download and thought of rather highly by some of the users on here.

Still got him Bear he's not doing to bad i got a case that i put him in it was a tight fit kind of made me Leary putting him in it but once in the Maxx looks good but it might be pain to get him out if i need to do any thing with the Sim Card but i got one of my smart features on it's the Wi-Fi one when i come home it Automatically kicks it to Wi-Fi then when we leave it does the same. That's what I would have thought, but even after saving the setting, as soon as I shut down my computer or log out of Mail, it automatically defaults back to 25. It's a bit frustrating.
Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of those horrible pop-up banners but still have my glass sound and number of emails in the red dot when I get an email...

I have deleted preferences, reinstalled the program, tried to use the color picker on images as well as Captivate shapes (squares, ellipses), but it still defaults to black. I have also tried new projects and pre-existing projects. Defaults to black.
No similar problems with Cp 5.5, which I have installed on only one of my computers (so can't attribute this to a Cp version conflict)
Has anyone else has this behavior? Any known fixes?

I did the update today and not I am having problems sending and receiving text messages. Has anyone else had this problem?

It was with my imessage. I finally got a hold of someone from Apple Support and she had me log out of my Apple ID login and log back in and that seemed to fix the issue. Something about the update messed it up but luckily there was an easy fix.

I have a local VI that is simply a control that writes to the datasocket server whenever the control value changes.(the dataitem on the server is permanent - its initialized and never released by the server)
In the same local VI I have a datasocket read polling a different dataitem on the server.
The remote machine has a VI that reads the permanent dataitem on the server once per second.
For some reason, after adding the local VI mentioned above, the remote VI stopped picking up the first change in the permanent variable.
I'd start both the local and remote VIs...
Then change the local control and the remote V
I would not update - as if the datasocket write(upon adjusting the control) did not take place. So I'd change the control value again - this time the remote VI would update to this new value. And from here on out - the remote VI would update correctly. This problem only occurs when the local VI is first started up.

Gorka is right, this came up on Info-LV a few days ago. Someone
described a similar problem. I replied that I had seen similar
behaviour, reported it to NI, and they verified a bug. There is no fix
yet, but they are aware of it and will fix it. No anticipated release
date for the fix.
