Has anyone tried BIM360Glue on the iPad mini?

Hi all - We're using BIM360Glue on iPad 3's at the moment with great success, but I'm wondering if anyone has used it on a Mini, and if so whether anyone has any feedback on it?

I have...I am noticing a delay in the preset selection for editing my work in LR.  Sliders are ok...but copy and pasting edits or preset selections for files is delayed.  Trying to find a solution.

  • Has anyone tried drawing on the iPad with a stylus?

I have tried the Jukestyle iPad stylus to draw signatures on the iPad. Has anyone else tried an iPad stylus to use for signatures on documents and contracts? Which ones do you prefer?

OK I do not have a Lexus, but I have a 2004 Prius with Nav and Bluetooth and as I understand it the Bluetooth is the same. It took me like 45 seconds to do it. I did not touch a manual. Go to the phone and then the set up. In my car it gives you the default password. Go to the settings-> Network -> Bluetooth on the iPhone type in the password and you are in. Uploading you phone book is another issue but can be done from you Mac or PC with Bluetooth or with a older Bluetooth phone.

Has anyone tried to get the customer_id/site_id in ireceivable module? Please let me know which class to look into to get the cust_account_id and site_id/site_use_id in ireceivable module. We need to control the access in our custom pages based on the user access (at the customer account level or only at the customer site level).

I saw the set hibernet mode to 0 trick and it failed.  Guess I can try 3 because reinstalling OS X did nothing but cost me another few hours and a little faith in Apple.  Getting annoyed as I see how many people complain of the identical issue and the fixes are variable and random.  Suggests to me that it is a major design flaw in the hardware and Apple got too cute with the just works idea and didn't put a damned power button on the display so there is no manual way to do it and no 'insert a pin here' type trick to reset the thing.
Asking for a refund tomorrow.  Past the 14 days so maybe they'll say no but if so then every time this happens I will swap it out.  At least then I know it is a three hour fix and as I was working on this for hours today it occurred to me that if the trick is to do 57 different things and maybe one will work then that is not why I made the switch to Apple.  I could plug everything in on my PC and it all 'just worked'.
Really poor customer service - the support folks are very nice and I am sure they know that this is a systemic issue but aren't allowed to say so.  Feeling pretty stupid for going on faith right about now.

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.

  • Has anyone tried to use the Online Edition of Quickbooks and Tiger?

I work from home as an editor. My employer has just set up payroll using the Online Edition of Quickbooks. When I tried to to login I got this message from Quickbooks:
"For business and tech reasons we designed Online Edition specifically to run on Windows. We do not offer an alternative version at this time. Customers have reported using a PC emulator, such as Microsoft's Virtual PC, to run Online Edition on their Macs. This may decrease application performance in terms of speed. We encourage you to research this approach to see whether it will work for you."
    Has anyone tried this?
Also, they set up Online Edition to run with Internet Explorer. I use Safari.

i donot know the server he used in his example. All you need is to
replace the server deployment descriptors he used to weblogic descriptors. then rebuild. go to admin tool--localhost:7001/console
and login with weblogic as username and password
then on ejb you can then deploy the ejb.read on the console.

  • Apple should really come up with a dual sim card. Has anyone tried to use the dusl simcard adaptor?

I see many ads for the dual sim adaptor, also it is being sold on some flights. Has anyone tried one? Instead of putting better cameras on their iPhones, Apple should really concentrate on making a phone with dual sim cards ( without asking exhorbitant prices) which will make travelling so much easier.

  • Has anyone tried to use the example XMLResourceAdapter?

I get various java errors when trying to use the sample XML file resource adapter code supplied in the /idm2525/REF folder.
I believe my java environment is Ok. I compiled the XMLResourceAdapter.java as per instructions. I get the 3 class files.
I add these to the IDM configuartion as per instructions and add the custom resource adapter again following instructions.
Things went ok. I can see the XML resource in my resource list. The only problems I get are when I try to use this resource.
When adding the XML File resource to an existing IdM account I get error:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.waveset.object.ResourceInfo.getPassword()Lcom/waveset/security/authn/EncryptedData;
Has anyone any clue where to start looking to correct this?

    Hi Eric
    thanks for your answer.
As far as I know, the INTERNAL CPU to GPU data transfer speed is way faster than the speed you can obtain via thunderbolt, so it doesn't matter what GPU you put in an external thunderbolt case, you won't benefit on any speed increase.
But still when I goggle this subject I find people saying that they edit and render much faster with an external thunderbolt case and GPU.
So I thought about trying to find the "truth" here on this forum.
Anyone else wants to share his/her experience?
    Thanks

  • Has anyone tried to play 'The Sims2' on the macbook yet?

    Ciao a tt!
I am a proud owner of a now aging 12" powerbook G4 and I am seriously considering the new macbook. However, I am a highschool student, and as such am addicted to a myriad of fairly graphic intensive games including The Sims2, and Halo. Compunding these are games such as Age of Empires and Rise of Nations which are not particularly graphic intensive but as of now must be run by means of Rosetta. My question for all of you is: Should I go for the MacBook which I have heard has a fairly mediocre graphics processor, or should I save up for a Macbook pro? If it is absolutely necessary, I will go for the MPB, but I am much more attracted to the MacBook from an aesthetic point of view and feel the size is perfect for a portable computer. Thank You all for your imput, and please excuse my English I know it leaves a lot to bbe desired.
    PowerBook G4 (867MHz)   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

I'd assume it would run well on the MBP, I have a friend with a higher end PowerBook who plays the game religiously. However, I look up some of the game specifications on Aspyr's web site and the graphics card on the MacBook(Granted it is fairly new and may not be included on the web site yet) is not listed as compatible. Has anyone played the universal version yet on a MacBook, or is it as of yet an impossibility? As far as I know, the game does play on the MPB as a universal binary and courtesy of Cruzmisl's post in Windows Xp. I would just like to determine if I should wait to buy a MBP or if I can go for Macbook which I feel is a better machine (As long as it can handle my games)

  • Has anyone tried to pair the iphone with a 2006 Lexus GX470?

before opening the package I would like to know if anyone has been able to use the bluetooth capabilities of the iphone with a 2006 Lexus. Was you able to pair the phone to the car's bluetooth technology?

  • Has anyone tried (permanently) depackagifying the Library?

It occurs to me that a tremendous number of the issues I have with Aperture would be solved if the Library were file-system-readable by other applications. Now, I can do this if I remove the extention and turn it into a folder, but I'm assuming that Aperture wouldn't be too happy about that.
But I haven't tried it. I wonder if anyone else has. If it were possible to do this, many things would become more feasible (like Andrew's smart-object workflow, ferinstance)
So the question is - Does Aperture care about the file extention of the library? Do you think it could be hacked to make it not care?
A ton of my personal gripes would go out the window if this could work.

    Per,
Your comments are well-founded. Yes, I have been a black-hole of unremitting criticism. Your irritation is entirely understandable. Especially since you and Andrew and Ian and others are trying so very positively and desperately to find ways to make a $500 application perform as advertised.
And in the complete absence of any formal indication from Apple that they have heard and understand any of our pain. The hope and positive attitude and pro-active contributions of others is really quite admirable.
I should really be ashamed that I can't muster the same kind of cheerful industry.
I am furious that this application was released in this state, I am furious that I didn't listen to my own advice and wait for V1.5 before spending so much money on it, I am furious that I've wasted so much time sending bug reports back to Apple, I'm furious that Apple could foist this beautiful and barely functional interface on the professional community without first learning something about photography in general and professional photography in particular.
And I'm saddened that so many talented, capable, brilliant photographers are spending so much time working around flaws that will be obsolesced in a couple of revisions of the software. My comment, that you correctly disparage, was not meant as a criticism of the good work of these good people as an expression of continuing despair that they have to do it.
I will put a sock in it.

  • Has anyone tried to replace the HD in time Capsule?

I was wondering if anyone has cracked open their TC and tried to replace their 500GB with a higher capacity drive, like a 750 or 1TB. I would love to hear about your experience.

Hello Mike.. Yes I cracked open my T.C and changed the 500Gb drive it came with and swapped it with the Seagate 7200.11 1TB SATA Hard Disk Drive 32MB Cache.. It was a breeze to do and I didn't find any difficulty at all with the swap now I have a spare 500 Sata drive which I can replace in my computer as that particular hard drive is now 7 years old and needs upgrading anyways.. The only problem I encountered was the rubber part the glue underneath kinda went lumpy in places then when you put the rubber back it was all lumpy underneath and showed through the rubber but I got all that sorted and removed the glue lumps now it is smooth, the rubber mat can be removed multiple times and the glue is still strong enough not to let go now with the added heat it is stuck fast and no problems at all.. If your thinking of doing this then go ahead it isn't any more complicated than replacing the hard drive in your desktop computer.. Oh when you remove the rubber mat you will find 10 small screws as well there is a fan attached to the motherboard but this I removed carefully then I was able to lift the base plate clear until the old and new hard drives were replaced..
Hope this gives you some encouragement to do a retrofit yourself, but to all those crying about warranty issues, don't worry as hard drives and wireless cards are usually bullet proof and are the last things to fail so i'm not particularally worried anyways..
