Has Anyone tried this new plug in WooWave Sync Pro?

Hi there
Has anyone tried this new plugin Woowave Sync pro?
They claim to offer better results than you can get with the built in synchronizing engine.
I downloaded the trial but can't figure out how to enable it in fcp.
I got this crappy footage.. hours of it and I really need something to sort it out , hate manual syncing
fcp tries and does some of it, but I got hours left unsynced.

… in there, you'll find some not-so-known 'tricks' to fasten the process of synching, such as using Markers (not 'on beat' just 'approx').
I tried with my multicam soccer-recordings = no music (aside the referee's whistle ), and FCPX managed indeed to synch this stuff - impressive!

  • Has anyone tried this? AutoMailMerge Plug-in for Adobe Acrobat

Mail Merge in Acrobat 9 Professional?
    Hi, All!
I have been told that I can perform a mail merge similar to MS Word from within Acrobat Pro 9. The main document (with merge type fields) needs to be an Acrobat .pdf. The data source can come from an external file. The key is that the merge is performed in Acrobat, not Word.
I have searched throughout Acrobat Pro 9 but have found no functionality that matches my needs. Can anyone help me with this?
I was informed the there is this outside company that has this "AutoMailMerge™ Plug-in for Adobe® Acrobat®"

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Will it do what I'm looking do?
    Please help!
    Thank you!
    Chistina

  • Have 1 POP3 email account I want to work like IMAP email in icloud. Apple suggested created a new Apple ID just for POP3. Has anyone tried this to see if it works and will delete across multiple devises?

Have 1 POP3 email account I want to work like IMAP email in icloud (keeps my iMac, iPhone, ipad mail in sync). Apple suggested trying creating a new Apple ID just for that POP3 email. Has anyone tried this to see if it works and will delete/update across multiple devises? Would mean keeping up with two Apple ID accounts but only other alternative I know of is paying for monthly service for Microsoft 365.

would I be able to "upload" (not sure how else to say it) my existing folders and subfolders containing all my emails so that they are all available on my new IMAP service, while still being available on my Mac?
Not easily, no. There's no direct transfer option between POP and IMAP, especially across email providers. The best you could do would be to forward all of your emails to your new address, although it's not clear that you need to - dropping your sbcglobal.net account doesn't instantly render all your existing mail void - it'll still be in your Mail client, you can still read it, search it, etc., it just won't be on your provider's server.
I have toyed with the idea of getting a MobileMe account. Would that solve my issue/question above?
MobileMe would be viable, especially if you're interested in synching your various iOS devices. It's not free, of course, unlike Yahoo and Gmail, although you've already discounted them...
I have also toyed with purchasing my own URL, but it's hard to tell from the sites (1and1, Namecheap, etc.) if they come with IMAP email accounts included.
Some registrars offer email hosting bundles with a domain registration. This could be a good way to go. GoDaddy, for example, have a email hosting option for domains you register with them.

  • HT201342 I got a notice there is an icloud email reserved for me. It reads like I will get all my icloud mail in my .me acc't along with my me mail. Double of the mail? Has anyone tried this icloud mail yet?

The notice reads like I will receive my icloud emails in my icloud AND my me acc'ts. Double the amount of email? Also, I tried to set up the icloud acct in my mac mail preferences and it says the me acct is already set up. Why would I need 2 different email extensions if it's the same acct? This is weird. Has anybody tried this new icloud email?

You can use @icloud.com or @me.com to send and receive emails from.  They share the same inbox.  You won't get double the mail.
You don't setup an icloud email account in the mail preferences.  They are automatically setup in system preferences >> icloud.  You can choose which you are sending from when you're composing an email by click the drop down menu beside "from".  You can chose the default in mail menu >> preferences >> composing.

  • Has anyone tried the new retina display MBP with a projector?

I bought a new MacbookPro with retina display online the other day (hasn't arrived yet).  I use this primarily for business doing presentations etc.  Has anyone tried connecting a projector using the Thunderbolt VGA adapter?  Just curious if it'll work.
    Thanks

Similar problem. I used my macbook Pro Retina with my Thunderbolt to VGA adapter all through the fall, and never had any trouble with it. Just before Christmas I got a Thunderbolt display.
Since that time, whenever I connect the projector, I get a black screen. I can see and move the mouse, but nothing else. Other computers still work with the projector.
I'm not certain if the Thunderbolt Display has anything to do with this or not, but it's just the timing that it happened.
Grateful for anyone that can offer help!

  • Has anyone tried the new MS Oracle DataProvider ?

    Hi all.
Has anyone tried the Microsoft issued Oracle .Net data provider? I am not fond of switching horses in midstream (have been struggling with ODP for a few weeks). I do not like the ODP for these reasons...
    1) Documentation is really non-existant/useless especially where hueristics and 'gotchas' are concerned
    2) it is a HUGE install (why I have no idea)
    3) some things simply do not work (like my recent rants on trying to return varchar2's from stored procs and functions).
Is the MS any better ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1) There is a pdf doc and integrated help which comes with the ODP.NET. There are a few gotchas which could cause some hair-pulling moments. Sometimes it helps to read the same doc several times to really know what to do.
But instead of wasting time reading the doc, the samples cover most of the typical cases. (i think it includes your varchar2 output bind case).
    2) The huge install is due to Oracle Client 9. The provider needs several dlls beyond Oracle.DataAccess.dll and OraOps9.dll. There are some other oracle standard dependencies also. MS provider for oracle will have the same issue (I think they need oracle client install also).
There a few post where the `Instant client install` is going to solve that.
But the thin client (like JDBC thin driver for oracle) is still (IMHO) the best solution for the huge install problem.
    3) See my reply in the other post. (try the sample also)
Finally, which some other posters have mentioned before: Good luck looking for help for MS's provider when you are stuck.
    Arnold

Yes, it does. But I'm not referring to the particular link you gave. The DJ app works fine.

  • Has anyone tried this service

I found this while browsing the web. I currently use a similar product on my p.c. call Lojack. Just wanted some feedback from anyone who has tried this product.
    http://orbicule.com/undercover/faq.php

I installed this on my son's MacBook, being worried that he may lose/get stolen his computer at college. It installed easily and appears to be well-hidden. Of course, you won't really know if its any good until you need it. I read a review where they reported the laptop as 'stolen' and the software did a good job of showing where the laptop went.

  • Has anyone tried this work-around?

This suggestion for returning Front Row to Lion has been around for a couple of months. Has anyone actually had any luck with it?

Front Row Fix for Lion - Yes I just tried it and it works - Very Simple!  Yea!

  • LogiLink PCI WLAN Card - has anyone tried this?

I stumbled across a very affordable PCI WLAN Card (54 Mbps) produced by Logilink. They offer a "driver for Mac". Has Anyone made any experiences with this card? Is it - like the Sonet-PCI-Card - using the apple AirPort Software or does ist use special Software? Any Help would be appreciated.

It worked, for about $860 I now have a 1.8 TB xServer

  • Has anyone tried the new OWC 8 GB RAM?

Anyone? They're still a little pricey for me.

I've just received the Quicken version for Lion and it crashed on four of my five files.  The 5th file didnot show all the quotes.  I searched the web and found that the new version is having problems with the Quote file.  I tried the suggestion from Intuit. See following URL.
    http://quicken.intuit.com/support/help/quicken-mac-2007-for-lion-crashes-on-lion /SLN59495.html
With the above you loss all your security quotes and need to repopulate the data file.  I suggest that you try the following process on a Snow Leopard system.
To avoid a corrupt Quote file perform the following before moving to Lion.  This process will give the Lion version a fresh Quote file.
    1. Start Quicken with you data file
    2. Open File > Export > Selected Items to QIF...
    3. Check only the box for Securities
    4. Quick Quicken
    5. Hold down the Control key and single-click (or right-click) your data file
    6. Select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu
    7. Control + click on the Quotes file, select Move to Trash
    8. Start Quicken with you data file
    9. Open File > Import > From QIF...
    10. Quick Quicken
Now all my files run on the Lion version with all the quote values.

  • Has Anyone Tried This "Report Spam" Script?

I just happened to stumble upon this script and I'd like to try it, but I'd like to know if anyone here has had any experience with it before I run it.
    Thanks for the feedback!
    Link with Description:
    http://www.hawkwings.net/2006/09/26/applescript-to-report-mac-spam/
    Download site:
    http://alignedleft.com/reportspam/

    VitoArc,
Haven't used it but it is pretty straightforward.
It just automates the process of sending your spam mail to Apple and to the Feds. If you aren't a .Mac member using an @mac.com address, then you shouldn't be sending it to Apple.
The script sends mail from your Junk folder.
If you want to do this without a script, just select the mail in question and make sure that you have the "Long Headers" option selected so that the full headers are showing. Then just forward the mail to [email protected]

  • After GB has anyone tried this...

I found a increcible app that allows user to improve audio playback for music, GPS or any app that plaus audio but the one thing was that the app was GB only and most users on the site couldnt use it until the recent update...  I just want to point users back to it because it is a nice app to check into and at this time it is still free.
The app is called Equilizer and it was posted at http://community.vzw.com/t5/Android-Apps/Improve-All-Audio-on-Device-Worth-Using/td-p/503686....  Check it out, it is really worth a look.

Thanks Wilman! I installed it, which was much needed, because when you're listening to music in a car with 6x9s, 5x8s, and 2 10s all amped up, you kind of want some control over the EQ. Do you know if it works with Pandora? That would be SWEET!
    PS - Wildman is more knowledgable than any VZW employee that I've ever talked to. No offense to VZW lol. I worked for Cingular customer service at the call center here for 2 1/2 years, so I know what goes on in a call center, and there is a high turnover rate. They're constantly training new people, and most people are NOT cut out for that kind of job. Even after 2 1/2 years I wanted to kill someone. It's a very boring, redundant, and stressful job. You have to recite the same lines hundreds of times a day, every day, and then every other caller is **bleep** at you for something you didn't do, and it's your job to calm them down and make them happy within your needs. Then you get that {word filter avoidance}
caller who calls every month wanting credit off of their bill because they have gotten away with it before and won't stop until they get what they want. Most people don't realize that EVERY time you call customer service, they notate your account with what happened, and the first thing the CSR does is look over those notes, so your little wanting credit scheme is ******** lol. I hope I didn't give up too much information into the secret society of customer service reps, I just kind of started to ramble.. lol

  • Has anyone tried this way

After verifying/repairing permissions and hard drive, and then creating a backup clone?
Create a new User Account with admin privileges. Then have only THIS account active when installing Leopard. Shouldn't this bypass any possible problems with third-party "enhancements?

Not really. Third party apps' are only excluded in Safe mode.
A new account would still include the third party stuff.
Yes, the applications would be but what about so-called haxies?
I have another account called "test", but when I'm logged into it, my Unsanity items are disabled. I thought that may be a way around some of the problems. Oh, well, it was a thought.
