Firefox will not open on startup and takes over system resorces. Uninstalled. When attempting to reinstall, installer will not run from website, and can not save file to HD. No error message, it just never appears.

Photoshop CS6 can't save to server after upgrading to Mac OS Yosemite Server from Mac Lion Server

We recently upgraded our server from a Mac Pro 2008 with OS X Lion Server to a Mac Mini 2014 with LaCie 20TB 5Big Thunderbolt 2 RAID drive. Everything is working fine with the exception of Photoshop. It does it intermittently but once it happens it will continue to do so. We get message like "Can't save to disk because of disk error" and "Can't save file because of program error" . Sometime we are able to do a "save as" and save over it. Most of the time we have to "save as" with a different file name and then rename and recopy the file. We have check permission on all the file as well as the server HD has ignore ownership checked. Again only three things changed. 1) Sever hardware change from Mac Pro to Mac Mini. 2) Server software upgraded from 10.7 Lion to 10.10 Yosemite(both have the latest update). 3) Drive when from internal on Mac Pro to External Thunderbolt 2 LaCie drive. We have no problem with Illustrator or Indesign. Only Photoshop. Anyone with any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately you seem to be using Photoshop in a way that Adobe discourages, so you may not be getting a lot of helpful advice.

Has anyone downloaded Yosemite and found that there are no ore scroll bars? I have to move the window (of any window, Skype window, browser window etc.) in order to find the scroll bar and then it disappears so fast I can't even use it.

Apple's new default (since at least a couple of OS releases back) is to have it off so OS X matches the behavior of an iPhone or iPad.
I almost never need a scroll bar, and when I do, I just move over to the edge of the window when scrolling and a larger scroll bar appears.
Yes, for the most part, users don't really need the scroll bar. That's what the scroll wheel on almost all mice is for. Saves the trip over to bar to physically grab and move it. But, I do like it on all the time regardless. That way (especially with a long article) I can just take a quick glance over to the bar to see about where I am on the page (a third of the way down? halfway?). Otherwise, I have to move the page just to make it appear to give me the same information.

Pod Touch 32GB MTP USB device has failed to install and can't sync.

After updating iTunes on my Win7 64bit PC, when I plug my iPod Touch 32GB in, I get the error message "MTP USB device has failed to install" and can't sync. Yesterday, everything worked well.

Thank you. I removed iTunes, QT, Safari and related software, then applied a Windows update and reinstalled iTunes and related software. It solved my problem and let me sync my iPod.

Such a pop-up is likely caused by malware installed on your computer.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Just buy version Premiere Elements 13.
Even if you don't get the "upgrade" price, you can probably find it for about that cost on sites like Amazon.com.
You can keep Photo Elements 13 if you'd like. The only downside is that Premiere Elements 13 and Photo Elements 10 won't share the same Organizer catalog. Otherwise, they'll get along just fine.

Why do I get notices to update Photoshop and Audition every day or two after I have updated?

Several times now the Creative Cloud Manager has notified me to update Photoshop and Audition. I apply the updates only to get the request again a day or two later. I have checked and both apps are the version CC wants to update to. Now CC wants me to update again. Both apps are working, but the continual notices to update repeatedly are rather annoying.

I am in RGB colour space, but when I try to save a PNG photoshop stops responding and I have to force quit.
I have found a way to save PNG's using Preview, but it is worrying that PS crashes on me.

I'm considering installing Yosemite in my Mid-2012 MacBook Pro 15"/Retina and I'm sure that most of the Apple apps will work fine, but I'm not so sure about the third party applications. My most important 3rd party app is Photoshop CS6. Has anyone installed Yosemite and had good luck running PS/CS6?

You and your partner might have different browsers, different versions of the same browser, or most likely a fervent version of the PDF plug-in.
See if just clicking on the Enter key sends the form in.
