Has Apple Support always been this useless? Oh, and Mavericks...
I upgraded to Mavericks, and now I am unable to share a video project to my desktop using Final Cut Pro X - this is something I have done without problem for quite some time, and now I have no abaility to do it at all? Why is it happening, and how do I fix it?
On another note, has Apple Support always been this useless?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Muy iphone 4 will not update apps. In trying to do so, it goes directly to the app. I have read pages and pages on this same issue in Apple support communities, and have tried the suggested solutions to no avail. Why is Apple support not addressing this issue?

I had the same Issue on a 5 i bought. Exact same screen and writing. Battery was totally drawn, first thing I had to replace. The screen had been replaced and since then it wouldn't work anymore according to the previous owner.
It took me a couple hours, after recieving a few errors like 4013 it just never completed the restore, got really hot as well. The Flexwire of the Dock Connector seemed damaged, replaced the dock, but that didn't help.
I almost gave up, thought the Logic Board was bad.
BUT! Then i deceided to check if it has anything to do with the Screen assembly, and it did.
Long story short, on mine the front facing camera, and sensor assy were bad.
Anyhow, the phone works ''perfect'' when i leave them unplugged. So I just ordered a new one and we will see if thats the problem or if the damage is in the Logic Board.
If so, i can live without the sensor and front cam.
Just wanted to share, good luck everyone. -
I am trying to update my iPod touch to the new iOS, but the error message "An error has occurred while backing up this iPod (0xE800067)" and asks me if I want to continue (which will "result in the loss of all contents on this iPod"); what is the problem?

Apple updates POI data frequently, & pushes corrected data daily. Click on the "Report a Problem" link while in the Maps app. You'll be surprised how quickly it will get corrected.

Ah! But no, that's not a bug, either. Once you create a user account, that name is locked. You can't change it. For this particular name, all you can do is ignore it. It will eventually be archived off the servers, never to be seen again.
To start over, you have to fool your web browser into believing you've never been here before. Launch Safari, but do not navigate to these forums. Open Safari's preferences and click on the Privacy tab. Where it says Cookies and other website data, click on the Details button. The trouble is figuring out which one to remove. I think it's apple.com . Try removing that cookie and then come here. If you got rid of the right one, you'll be able to create a new account. -
My ipod touch has been disabled for 212,456,875 minutes! I have followed all instructions on the apple support site to restore it but this has not worked. Help!
Without know exactly what you did or what happened:
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

and i had contact them and tell me they cant remove the restriction because my account didnt meet term and condition and i had to do any necessary change.
i have spent 20 time to change my account information from name until phone number but this problem didnt fix. and support keep talking the same ! and this make me very mad ! my account are match everything from my credit card and i had do sign out sign in than i had do change country than back to the country before than i had try change language until change my phone setting like date & time local zone its still not fix it ! its been 1 months ! and i get very madIm on the same country and im never use other country to my apple id , im not went to other country for over 3 years and last time the advisor said to me that the neccesary adjustment had been made so im able to purchased again , but it didnt happened until 3 support im asking that the last said that my account not in compliance with the terms and readt section B than before that other advisor tell me to read section A , i'd give feedback but still get the same answer

I'm getting a contact Apple Support message when trying to purchae in itunes. Unable to buy anything. Live support says "read terms and conditions". No place to confirm acceptance. No additional help available. Seems crazy - All I want to do is give them my money....Anybody?
This is a follow up. Finally, after almost 72 hours, I recieved another email from the original iTunes support representative. According to her, the problem is that one or more of my songs on the account are either not eligible for the upgrade or the file is corrupted and can not be upgraded. In short I cannot use the "Buy All" feature because I will always hit this roadblock. The only way to resolve this, is to upgrade each song individually or select a few songs at a time to upgrade.
I will have to do this until I get the song or songs that is causing the problem. Once I have identified the song(s), I can chose to repurchase them and get a refund. All songs today are at the DRM free format so repurchased songs will automatically be the upgraded file.
So I'll now begin the upgrade of the 314 songs. I guess it could be worse.
Okay, I got an answer and an offer of a refund, but this answer certainly could have been provided three days ago. Am I being unreasonable?
