Has CAR 136680 been resolved in LV 2009?

CAR 136680 caused queues and notifiers to become invalid unexpectedly when an application that made use of Force Destroy was used. I believe it was logged too late for LV 8.6.1 but the fix was planned for a future release. I have not seen this issue show up on the resolved bug lists for LV 2009; is it still open or has it been addressed?

For what it's worth, I'm seeing queue references going invalid in LabVIEW 2009 SP1. I have a large application that uses a lot of parallel, reentrant, top-level VIs that uses various messaging objects (queueus, user events, notifiers, etc.).
I should mention that this issue (queue references going invalid) also exposed an issue where Rendezvous (which were reimplemented using Queue, a while back) can deadlock, due to some improper internal error handling (of the invalid references) inside of the Rendezvous VIs. I'll post a link to more details about this, shortly.

Oh, well that was a whole other kettle of fish:
Oh the G4 I attempted to install iLife '08 before Lepoard was available. About the only thing that installed cleanly was iPhoto. I ended up reinstalling everything back to iLife '06, and then upgrading back to the current stable version of the iLife '06 version. I didn't attempt a reinstall until after I upgraded to Leopard.
When I did reinstall, I made a iLife '06 folder, copied all iLife apps into it, and upgraded. Seemed to work, except for the part where iMovie gets left behind and iDVD is only mostly functional.
When I installed on the other 2 machines, it was after installing Leopard and all upgrades. On those 2 machines, I didn't bother with the copy, I just moved everything to the iLife '06 folder I created, and did a fresh install.
I didn't have to do anything with the iPhoto Libraries, that I can recall.
I always do an upgrade, never an archive and install. I've never had a problem with this back to 10.1 or 10.2.

Hi all - I have the latest version of Dreamweaver CC 2014 (6733 Build). It is frustratingly slow. I searched and found a lot of discussions on this, tried some recommendations, but have not found a resolution to this problem - and I need to get this working ASAP because I am spending way too much time waiting and waiting and waiting. I even started a new site, with only one html page. Something as simple as applying an h1 tag and then changing the text attributes: Color - wait, wait, wait (spinning beachball), wait, wait . . . changed. Then change size - wait, wait, wait (spinning beachball), wait, wait . . . changed. Change Font - wait, wait, wait (spinning beachball), wait, wait . . . changed. I am sure you get the point. This is a totally unacceptable way to work! The same thing is happening on both my desktop computer and my laptop. Any advice would really be appreciated.

FOLLOW UP: I must say that Adobe Support handled this issue extremely well - thank you Preran and Sonam for you assistance! They tried to contact me the day after my post, but I wasn't available - we set up an appointment for today and she called right on time. We did troubleshooting for about an hour and discovered that it was a font issue. I use a font utility that had some kind of conflict with my system fonts. Once it was resolved, Dreamweaver is quite speedy now. My advice for anyone having this issue would be to turn off all non-system fonts and see if that helps. Keep up the great work and support Adobe . . . this user absolutely appreciates it!

Firefox is asking me to update to v5 but are saying this version is not compatible with Google. Has this problem been resolved yet?

I updated my browser to v5 and was told that it would not be compatible with Google at this time. I was not able to log onto Google nor bring up the Google toolbar and related search ability.
I have therefore switched back to v4.01 and I now can use Google. Is this new version 5 now compatible with Google or will it ever be??

Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working - has issue been resolved?

I am experiencing the above problem with a new install of CS6.
Has this issue been resolved?
CS6 Design and Web Premium installed on Win 7 pro 64 bit Dell Precision laptop. Error with Adobe Bridge cs6: "Adobe Bridge CS6 has stopped working", problem event name "APPCRASH". Error occurs when opening Bridge from Photoshop and other apps (Browse in Bridge) and directly from desktop or start menu. Also a cache directory is not being created under c:\user\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\bridge\. Holding ctrl key down and double clicking icon gets same message, cannot get at reset window.
Performed the following with no change: verified Bridge and full suite is on latest version (Bridge=5.0.2.4); created desktop icon directly from bridge.exe; verified application was installed and is starting with administrator privileges; verified latest display driver installed; performed complete uninstall of CS6, CC cleaner tool run, then full reinstall; Error under Event Viewer: faulting application: Bridge.exe and faulting module name: ntdll.dll; disabled UAC; tested memory for damage using MemTest86-good.

A follow up to the above.
There appears to be a number of possible causes for this type of error. In my case it was somewhat specific. I had a stand alone copy on this same machine previously of Adobe Photoshop CS2 (only) which was completely uninstalled prior to the installation of CS6. There is an issue with Bridge CS6 being installed on a machine that has Bridge CS2 on it. I wasn't aware of Bridge being present with my copy of Photoshop CS2 but apparently there were at least some components of Bridge CS2 left after the uninstall. The workaround that solved the issue for me was the creation of an empty folder:
C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS2

I reduced Adobe to 6.17 but was loath to reduce Flash from 10.1 because of the risk of access
Reduced FF to 2 as well which helped initially but then the crashes because non-stop - as soon as it reloaded it crashed again. I had already removed anything from my program list that I didn't use very often and that could potentially interfere with FF.
Even threw eBay Turbolister overboard as I have had trouble with that in the past!
None of this frantic jettisoning helped one whit, and now the PC is crashing even without FF being running! Very disturbing
It runs fine in safe mode so I think I can discount a hardware problem

I can't try what you suggest since I have not reinstalled Mavericks. I don't want the hassle to recover all my files if I have to return to Mountain Lion (again). I was one of the first users of Mavericks when it rolled out and I was not able to "drag and drop" group emails from my Contacts App. I had to do them one at a time--which was a pain when sending the same email to over 50 persons. I do a lot of them to different groups. I have not been able to confirm with Apple that Mavericks works correctly with mail. Thus I need to rely on users such as you to determine if it is safe to install Mavericks (again). If the mail program works correctly I should be able to drag and drop a group or type the group name into "To", "cc" or "bcc". What say you?

I have been using my iPhone 4s a lot mainly for email and to text my friends. I have also noticed that my iphone seems to have recently begun freezing up. It's done this a number of times, and ive only noticed it happen after i updated the software to 5.1 version. Has anybody else been having this problem? Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Hi,
The problem seems to be in your ALV grid display.
The reason must be your field catalog.
Just check your fieldcatalog.
The value in the fieldname field of the fieldcatalog should be same as the fieldname in your internal table and should be in capital letters.
Probably you must have mistyped some field.
