Has the bug of MediaStreamSource for MPEG4 Part-2 remained in WP8.1?

The bug for WP7 is described
here (the status is "Won't Fix"). MediaStreamSource does not work for "MP43" on WP7.
WP8.1 seems to have the same bug. Could anyone confirm this?

I can't find anywhere in the bug db that this was fixed, so if you're still encountering it, it likely has not been and won't be. Does this reproduce in WinRT?

Updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and when trying to restore my backup (using TM) into my iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) get the following message: "The volume has the wrong case sensitivity for a backup."

No changes were done to any of the DC's. We are running Window 2008 and 2012 wins and they are replication partners.

I restarted the services. Even read about the 2 reg keys:

No luck. Anything I can look at or do to stop these errors?

You might want to check with your network team. It might be something to do with the switches: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms829701.aspx
By the way, in case you do not have an application that does not support DNS, it might be worth to rely only on DNS resolution in your environment.

You can change the case sensitivity of the sparsebundle.. but I really doubt the error is real.

The sparsebundle should have case sensitivity turned on.
I cannot even fathom how it could have changed.
Let me recommend before you start fooling around with the sparsebundle.
Do a full network start.
Power everything off.. start up modem.. wait 2min.. power up the TC.. wait 2min.. power up any other network gear like switches.. wait..
Now power up the computer and try it.
If the error is the same.. I would do a factory reset of the TC.. give it all short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Then reset TM .. see A4 in the same reference as above.. and do a verify of the backups.. A5 above and try the backup again..
No luck..
Then erase the TC and start over.. it is sometimes necessary as TM does get itself in a knot.

Is there separate installable for development IDE for ODI (Designer Module) instead of complete ODI which may include the server also?

You can install only the client in multiple machine if multiple user are going use/share the same repository ... and you should be having the same
snps_login_work.xml
snps_login_security.xml
in all your client installations....so that you can have multiple users created and share the same repositroy ...

After recent upadte to firefox 9.0 beta 5 the screen becomes black for most part. Its like the pages and everything is working perfectly but it becomes black and flickers a lot.

I m using win 7 home premium 64 bit edition. Has the bug stopping iMovie Exporting been cured in iMovie 5 and 6?

In iMovie 4 you cannot export if Final Cut Express is on the computer.
There is a workaround -which I use - but has the problem been cured in later versions?

It works great. In fact, I have both installed on my computer, and will frequently move projects and stuff back and forth between each application, depending on what I am doing. But yes, export works great in iMovie HD '06.

Where has the download page gone for QT win?

I run an online journal. I'm trying to provide links to visitors so that they can download the free Quicktime player. It used to be that to get to the windows version, you'd go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html . But now if I try this, it just redirects to the QT for Mac page. The only way I can find the plugin for Windows is through the downloads update support page, but it's only for the latest version, i.e. not a permalink I can rely on being there in the future. What's up?
The only thing I can think of is that the site is autodetecting that I'm on a mac. But still - it makes it hard for designers if they don't know the URL for pc!

The Apple download page does "detect" the visitors OS and then redirects to the proper download page for that visitor.
You would use: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ in your page code.
If a Mac user clicks they're sent to the Mac download. A Windows user would be sent to the Windows download page.

LR4 save to xmp has the wrong timezone adjustment for xmp:MetadataDate

After installing LR4 and converting a catalogue, I saved the metadata for an image in LR4 and did the same for the same image in LR3.6 (on a different machine).
The value for xmp:MetadataDate written by LR4 seems to be wrong. My timezone is UTC+8h for Western Australia. Here is an extract from the xmp file written by LR4:
   xmp:CreatorTool="Ver.1.00"
   xmp:ModifyDate="2012-03-03T18:10:27.00"
   xmp:CreateDate="2012-03-03T18:10:27.00"
   xmp:MetadataDate="2012-03-09T08:03:17+08:00"
Note the MetadataDate is my local time + 8h (I saved just after 8am). The timezone offset should be -8h.
On my laptop, I repeated this with LR3.6 and the ame extract from the xmp file it wrote is:
   xmp:CreatorTool="Ver.1.00"
   xmp:ModifyDate="2012-03-09T08:54:51.475-08:00"
   xmp:CreateDate="2012-03-03T18:10:27.00"
   xmp:MetadataDate="2012-03-09T08:54:51.475-08:00"
LR3.6 adjusts both the ModifyDate and the MetadataDate by -8h, which is correct if the time is meant to be UTC.
Why LR3.6 has changed the ModifyDate to the time that the xmp file was written, I'm not sure - LR$ doesn't and I wouldn't expect it to either since the raw file (NEF in my case) isn't modified.
Looks like a bug in LR4 regarding the MetadataDate written to the xmp file.

I'm confused -- you say "my timezone is UTC+8h for Western Australia". That is, if it's 13:00 local time in London, it is 21:00 local time in Western Australia.
Thus, 08:00 local time in Western Australia should appear in the XMP timestamp as 08:00:00+08:00. (That's how the timestamps are defined.) So it sure seems to me that LR 4 is doing the right thing.
LR 3.5 had a bug in which the signs in the XMP:MetadataData fields got reversed:

Though LR 3.6 claimed to have fixed that bug, I didn't verify, and I don't see anyone else who verified.

Has the odcustomurl.js file (for Gateway page) been renamed in UPK 11.1?

We just upgraded from UPK 3.6.1 to UPK 11.1.
I ran the inappconfig.cmd to customize our Gateway page, and I was looking for the "odcustomurl.js" file that it's supposed to generate. However, it did not generate that javascript file, instead, it generated a different file named "configdata.json.js".
I read through the user guides that came with 11.1 but it still mentions "odcustomurl.js". Is it supposed to be "configdata.json.js" now?

For anyone interested, we were finally able to configure SSO. Working with Oracle support and a web conf with the developers was needed.
The documentation is lacking all the instructions to make a sucessful connection and has incorrect information as well. The SSODiag app was working for all XP and IE6/IE7 machines, my Windows 7 and IE8 machine would not work and is still an outstanding issue with development.

Nops, no Jailbreak. And I can't even really find people with tha same issue over the web. I'm starting to think that a fresh install might be the only way to solve this.
