imessage failed to send, so the phone sent it as sms (its turned green).
there is the message 'sent as text message' below the text but there is also an error message next to the text saying it has failed and do I want to resend?presume this is an error about the iMessage not sending?

Where has the text in my module gone?
I have a project that has been working fine since I inherited it months ago, which uses the Flex3.0.0.477 sdk.
Previously, the modules that it loads were not being optimized for the parent application. I changed that setting with no noticiable repercussions a month ago.
Yesterday, the text suddently began disappearing from modules. When I test in debug mode, the text reappears (because the modules are not optimized when testing), but as soon as I clean the project and grab the optimized modules, the text disappears.
I understand that there's some issue with the embedded fonts (that are declared in a global css file in the assets folder), but I am stumped how to fix it and even more why it suddenly started happening.
Also, returning to a previous git commit, from a month ago or more, does not seem to change the behavior, suggesting that it has nothing to do with any recent changes I've made but is being caused by something within flash builder or the flash player.
Any suggestions welcome!There were a confluence of issues/bugs crashing together to cause the issues. I'll try to sort them out here.
1) The primary bug was being caused by a static variable in one of my subclasses that I was typing with the name of the application. The only noticeable effect of the error was that the fonts no longer loaded, though I'm not sure why. I fixed this issue by removing the type declaration on the variable and leaving it blank. I'm setting that variable in the main application, which simply references itself (ie Subclass.app = this). Other suggestions on how to do that within a class whose static methods are called without instantiation would be appreciated (meaning, I need to reference the parent app from within a static method in that subclass).
2) Returning to a previous git commit for the project was unreliable because of an apparent flash builder bug that required me to open and close flash builder 2x to get it to correctly complile the application. Before switching to a previous commit, I would close flash builder. Upon reverting the codebase and re-opening flash builder, the application would still not compile correctly. However, if I closed and reopend flash builder a 2nd time, the application would work. I'm guessing that it has to do with how flash builder (or eclipse) save settings when exiting the program, so that I had to exit the correct code base after reverting to a previous version and then reopen to get the correct settings.
I hope this helps someone in the future. Too many hours spent on something that should have been straightforward. -
HELP -where has the text gone ?
Help - I've been writing and editing one of my pages and had just finished. All of a sudden, the text had gone. The page was text + bullets, in a boxed shape.
I must have inadvertently clicked something without realising it- I was in fact just making the sizes of both text box, and shape, smaller. I clicked UNDO several times but nothing has appeared. The box is still there bit without contents.
Looking forward to some answers ..... I'm slightly panicking bit common sense says that it must still be there ......somewhere ! I hadn't published this page.

Yesterday I sent an entry for a contest, I heard the mail being sent but I checked today and it doesn't appear in my Sent folder.
The problem is that I don't know if it has been sent or not and the contest rules say one entry per member so if I send another one I might be disqualified but if I don't do anything I might be not entering the contest at all.

Has the WLSE been replaced?
I haven't installed or priced a wireless system in a while and now cant find pricing for the WLSE. What replaced it for 6 AP control. They are getting 7921 IP Phones for this setup and I would like to use te WLSE for seamless roaming.

The WLSE has not been completly "End of Life" although I think its safe to say that Cisco is really promoting the change to LWAPP. They even have a migration path from the WLSE to WCS in place. There are many Autonomous AP's that can be converted to LWAPP as well. You probably want to look into one of smaller versions of the WLC (Wireless Lan Contoller) Have a look;

WD Intellipark - has the problem been solved?
Hey folks,
I want to buy a new hard disk for my arch server. I need a capacity of ~1TB and I also want to make sure, that the emission (noise, heat) and power consumption is very low.
My search for a suitable hard drive led me to the Green series of Western Digital. After some research I found out, that there was a problem with Linux and those hard drives special "function" called Intellipark [1].
Now my question is if this problem is still present or if it has been fixed? I did not find any information on the internet so I would guess that there is nothing new on this topic.
In this case, could you guys suggest me a good hard drive that suites my needs and works fine with Linux (without installing workarounds like idle3-tools).

All of them had mentioned issue but there is solution for it, and in fact, in my opinion, better that doing something with system configs for power manager - you can download apps named wdidle.exe*** (it's on many cd with managament utilities) and boot it. You have disable all disk, connect only WD, than you can do a change in firmware by typing /d /r /s and it's done. I did it for all my disk. Of course, there is one problem with it - changing this options in firmware causes that heads won't click so many times but i don't know if power manager from hdparm will work. I did some setup in hardparm, but don't know if it works with changed option if firmware.
BTW - if you don't like what you did with firmware, you can enable heard parking the same way.

BT Sport Picture Quality has the quality been set ...

I'm enjoying watching the Norwich v Aston Villa match by mirroring it from my Apple TV to my 42 inch screen . I have no blocking issues with picture now which means that the capacity issue has been relsoved thanks. Looking at the players close up the picture quality is "good" but when the picture zooms out and when you have small people on the screen the quailty of the picture moves to "low" (Large areas of constant green).
Looks like some form of picture quality algorithm is being used to reduce the image quality.
Can BT please comment on this please?
If the quality can be improved a little more I would appreciate that.

No, on a BT Vision+ box channels 101-104 are HD channels delivered over the Infinity broadband connection. You can see the 'bTV' symbol displayed after the channel name for them when you change to them. On the BT Youview box then come over the aerial as Freeview HD channels.
If you are getting a good picture for channels 101-104 over Infinity then surely that proves that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the HomeHub, the BT Vision+ box or the cabling.
I have no idea why you would get problems with the picture for channels 507-509 (and possibly 510-512 if you get them in HD) if 101-104 are working fine. That sounds like a problem at BT's end? -
HT5295 Why has the video been eliminated in all podcasts?
I use to watch Mad Money podcasts - - however, with the new iOS, the podcasts now only as audio, the video part of the podcast has been eliminated. In checking other CNBC podcasts, like fast money or options action, the same is true, VIDEO ELIMINATED.
I have same issue and I did not upgrade to iOS 7.

process. Has it been made multi-threaded in 7.1 or 8.0. If not, are there any
plans to make it so in the future?The Bridge is not multithreaded in any released version of TUXEDO.

I haven't even turned my AppleTV2 on for the last 2 weeks. I've been too frustrated with all the common problems of the network freezing up, and the streams quitting mid-use. Just hopped on here to see if there was any news, and I guess there's been an update to the software. Has it helped for anyone else to fix the big problems that the device is having?
Spent the last 4 days with nothing but complete frustration with Apple TV and itunes. After 4 weeks of solid movies, both (yes, I guess I am a sucker) Apple TVs (new) have frozen up while downloading movies from itunes. Apple support is completely clueless to the problem. They have attempted to blame my network and have had me do every silly exercise--unplug, restore, etc... I even hard wired the Apple TV across my house to my DSL modem. Apple has got to spend more time testing software and hardware these days. If you are reading this Mr. Jobs, feel free to give me buzz. I feel like someone has stolen $200 from me not to mention 6 hours of wasted time. Apple TV is being turned off.

I have downloaded ios7 on iphone 4s, Sprint is my carrier. When I send a text to anohter iphone ALSO using sprint, it shows as coming from my sons phone. When he gets a message from another iphone using sprint, I get copies of his messages. Go figure. It seems to be only other IPhones and Sprint users. Hasnt' happend with android phones texting him, or him texting to androids or carriers that are not sprint.
The fact that the problem only occurs when iphones are texting you leads me to think that iMessage may be the culprit. The fact that it is only iphones using SPRINT however is weird. Try turning imessage off on both yours and your sons phones to see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be a carrier problem.
