Installed new Nano on existing Itunes computer / actt - here is the error message:
"Thi Ipod "Nano" could not be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to"
Any suggestions other than chuck it and watch a movie?

individual parts and it worked fine:

Welcome to the Club! Got the same Problem and had a really hard time reaching the Customer Support because they were down due to maitenance! Just wrote to their experts chat and hope to get an answer in this life!
I tried to authorize my Computer and eBookreader with a new Adobe-ID, but it says I've done used this ID too often, even though it was brandnew! Can't copy my just-purchased eBook because "Copying is not allowed".
I hold my thumbs for you that Adobe solves this Problem fast enough. Other ways I'll sell my eBookreader and buy the Kindle-Reader from Amazon and say GOOD BYE to Adobe!

Can the sounds of an active hard drive be heard at some point (indicating a normal startup)?
There is a problem with the graphics processing unit (GPU) and its ball grid array (BGA) on some iBook computers, leading to similar symptoms. Reflowing (resoldering) the BGA is a work for specialists, and is going to be expensive. A web search will return a number of more or less realistic alternative attempts to solve the issue. Outside pressure applied to the affected area has sometimes been used for troubleshooting, or even as a temporary "solution".
It is of course possible that the iBook in question has a completely different fault, such as a broken display cable.

Camera feature has gone completely blank...any easy fix?

I wonder if this problem is common...my camera feature just went totally blank, almost as if the shutter is stuck closed...however the entire screen is blank. If anyone is familiar and knos of an easy fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

Move camera app from main home screen to one of the other screens restart itouch and it worked.

Hi, I have always been careful to not leave my headphones plugged in when I'm not using my iPod (classic), but yesterday for some reason no music will play through the right headphone. I don't think it's possible anymore. I'm mildly surprised you were able to keep podcasts in regular playlists this long - I thought this option disappeared back with iOS7.

It is just conceivable you burned a CD that exactly matched one already in the Gracenote database. Gracenote uses track count and duration to decide what CD it is you have in a computer. If you have one that matches that it will label it. You could conceivably even have one that matches it that is not the correct one.

What to do with compatability issues? Easy fix? or good enough?

So with this forum's help I've managed to create a new website for our company... I worked locally from my laptop - win7, google chrome - and it looked great, but from our work computers - winXP, IE 6 - there's a few issues:
- The title in the banner shifts up/down from page to page
- Banner itself expands on some pages
- spry accordion is aligned on the left, but should be centered
Is there an easy fix to any of these? Probably not..
Also, what's the best way to test the site on all browser's? I know dreamweaver has the check, but I'd like to see what it looks like.. Should I download each browser and test them?

Browser specific issues in IE are usually fixable with a few conditional comments. You would have to upload your site to a test folder on your server and post a URL here to get help. There is no way to know what you've got going on without seeing your page(s)/code.
Use the online code validation tools below and fix any reported errors. 90% of browser problems can be cured with valid code.

Making Edge content work in Internet Explorer - Still looking for the easy fix!

I know this subject has been kicked around a lot. I've done a lot of on-line research on the matter and came across claims of easy fixes using .js files.
But none of them are working for me!
Is there truly a good (and simple) way to make my HTML5 (Edge) content work in Internet Explorer?

1.5 tracks in newly installed XP have delay (probably easy fix)

I just switched from Windows 7 to XP because the former was crashing three times a day. Anyway, I just started from scratch, and I'm pretty sure I downloaded the right drivers and everything.
What happens is any track I put in over a drum track SLOWLY becomes more and more off. It starts out recording fine, then it eventually just gets completely off-kilter from the drum track.
I have a great laptop that has run well for the past three years doing this 50-track projects. 1.7GB duo dual core, 3GB. Nothing running in the background, everything else goes smoothly. Any ideas on what it could be? Adjustments I can make? (Because the buffer stuff is pretty confusing.)

It may well be an easy fix, if it's AA1.5. Either hit F4, or go to Options>Settings and then the Multitrack tab. Make sure that there's a check in both
Correct for Drift in Recordings, and
Correct for Start Sync in Recordings
... and try again. Hopefully this will fix your problem.

Easy fix to play video from itunes on PC

OK Everyone who has the same problem of playing videos on a PC, and after a couple of seconds, your computer either crashes, or freezes/plays choppy, here is a very easy fix. I actually found it by reading other posts, and I can not remember who tried it first, so sorry to who it is that I can't give you credit, but thank you very much. All you need to do is have an external hard drive like what I am using (WD 160gig Passport). Copy your movie/tv shows files from your itunes file folder in your music folder on your computer harddrive to the external harddrive. Then just play it FROM your external harddrive using Quicktime, and it will work flawlessly! I don't know why it will not play from your computer, but it works with all videos from the external drive. Now go watch some movies!

Buy yourself a small set of speakers that plug into the headset jack of your iPod. Lots of options out there. It's simple and straightforward.

If you really know your way around a MBP, there are connectors and proceedure, if you are not, you might want to bring it in to Apple or an AASP for an estimate for the repair. It might be less than headache.
