Hash Mismatch Aperture 3.2 Update

PLease help. I want to set up my photo sharing to iCloud but that requires I update aperture to 3.2. When i try to update nothing happes except a Has Mismatch box. Does anyone know a solution?

As i wrote previously never had any problems downloading from the App Store (knock on wood ) so apart from the delete the app to get a complete download the only other thing I can think of is to reboot the machine and reset your router/modem.
But after that I'm out of ideas. Searching here I don;t see anyone else with a similar problem either (doesn;t that make you feel good!) so a call to App Store Support might be your next best step.
Good luck and post back the resolution, I'd love to hear what it turns out to be.
PS You are using the same Apple ID you used when you originally bought the app, right.

  • Can't update an app on the app store due to hash mismatch HELP!

Hi, I am trying to update an app- turbo collage collage creator and when I try to update it, it starts to download but then keeps restarting the download and doesn't finish. Then, a message popus up saying The App cannot be downloaded hash mismatch.
If anybodycan help or knows any solutions please help me thanks

You should first uninstall the existing version (Collage Creator 2.0) from your Mac. Then, install TurboCollage from the Mac App Store. Note that Collage Creator has been renamed to TurboCollage from this update.
Here are the steps to uninstall an application installed from the Mac App Store:
    1. Open Finder
    2. Go to Applications category on the left
    3. Drag Collage Creator to Trash to uninstall

  • I keep getting "hash mismatch" when trying to download Mountain Lion from the App store

I've been trying to download the new Mountain Lion from the App Store & keep getting "hash mismatch" message. I was able to download on my 1 computer, but no luck on the 2nd computer, which is up-to-date on all updates & software. Support even put a fresh copy of the App in my account & I still get that same message. Someone suggested AppCleaner, but how do you delete the OS to re-install the new. Didn't think that was possible. Any suggestions - I've tried quitting & logging out of the App Store & even re-starting (several times)

    -  Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed.
    -  Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading including Mountain Lion.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select Mountain Lion. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

  • Hash Mismatch

I am trying to download the OSX mountain lion and keep getting the error message "the application could not be downloaded, hash mismatch".  Can anyone help with this?
I have a mac book pro late 2011 and am currently running Lion.

    Hello,
I am not sure if I completely understand but here is what I was able to find.  When I open the "var/log/install.log"  it only appears to be the information from the last "software update" that I initiated.  I am actually recieving the "hash mismatch" error when I try to download OSX mountain lion from the app store.  Anyway....here is the log that I found when I went in to the console...."var/log/install.log".

  • Pages hash mismatch

Hello. I am getting hash mismatch error everytime I try to download Pages from Mac App Store. Any ideas?

Here are the steps that helped me resolve a “hash mismatch” when I tried to update an app that I had purchased. These steps were provided by Apple Mac App Support.  I’ve modified them sightly so they are generic. I hope they help resolve your issue!
Sign out from App Store menu at the top of Mac App Store and then Exit Mac App Store.
Get AppCleaner (free) app from one of the links below:
    http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/25276/appcleaner
    http://freemacsoft.net/#
    http://appcleaner.en.softonic.com/mac
    Unzip and run AppCleaner.
Go to Applications list in AppCleaner at the top.
Check name of the problem program. Note that the applications are not necessarily listed alphabetically.
Click Search at the bottom of AppCleaner and then Delete.
Go to the Desktop and empty the Trash.  Restart your Mac.
Open Mac App Store, go to Purchases section at the top and re-install the application from there. You will not be charged.
Your problem should be resolved at this point but if you continue to have issues, send an e-mail to:  [email protected]
FYI:  In my particular situation, the reason the “hash mismatch” occurred was because the developer modified the name of the application, consequently the installed app and the update did not match.

    POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
I made a fascinating discovery this afternoon.  In trying to install several programs that were giving me hash mismatches, I could not understand why after deleting the programs they still appeared installed.  So, I searched across my system and discovered multiple additional copies of the installed programs.  I've been using a Mac Pro with attached storage and so there are always two copies of installed applications because I mirror my boot drive to two different locations on my network.  APPARENTLY, when the App Store searches for installed applications, it looks through ANY drive attached, not just the drive you are on at the moment.  When I went through and uninstalled ALL copies of the programs giving me "hash mismatches", I then found that App Store no longer showed them as even installed.  Then I was able to go to my purchase list and download the updated versions of all three programs with no hash mismatch.

I am trying to get a MBORemoteSet from the session, which actually gives me the list from the database table. when i click on a combo box returning me the list using the MBOSetRemote object it throws me the exception.

Well this error occurs if the RMI files are different on the server and client side.
It basically tells you that the stub and skeleton don't match with each other. Get the latest version of the RMI jar file or whatever file you are using on the server side to replace the file you are using oon the client side. This would make stub and skeletons to communicate with each other effectively . enjoy :)

  • HASH MISMATCH. Yes, I know there are 100 threads about this!

    Hello,
Well, as I read on the forums, this problem seems to be common, and it doesn't have a clear solution. So, I don't care if they say they don't know. There IS a big problem, and they are not giving very helpful answers.
Recently I was feeling nostalgic and bought the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, everything went fine until it reached 200mb downloading. Then as you know the Hash Mismatch error appeared.
I've tried everything, from changing ISPs, to resetting the router/modem.
I have already sent a ticket about this, but clearly they are NOT solving the problem.
We are a lot, so please, don't just look the other way Apple.
    Thank you all,
    Martin

I am aware of this particular error that folks are seeing...  it's perplexing espcially if you haven't downloaded the app previosuly.
If you haven't done so, you could try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
    Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
    Restart your Mac.
One other thing to try...  is to startup in Safe Mode
That deletes system caches that may help.
A Safe Mode boot take a bit longer then a normal boot, be patient.
Once you see the Desktop, click the Apple menu top left corner of the screen then click Restart.

  • Aperture does not update a photo preview after editing in external editor

I have noticed this problem after installing the last Aperture (3.2.3) update. It appears to be common to my Mac Pro and Mac Book Pro. The updated preview is visible only in "viewer" mode (menu / view / viewer). It's interesting, that updated preview appears in "viewer" mode on both displays (I use two monitors). And when I switch into "split view" the preview switch also and is not updated.
After relaunching Aperture previews are updated.
The thumbnail looks to be good (updated). This problem makes my work really uncomfortable.

This seems to be a bug, and has been discussed in several threads. See this workaround suggested by shuttersp33d: This helped me Re: saving from photoshop
