Haunted N81 2GB...please help

I have two questions
first of all, I want to clear the packet data counter but it keeps asking for a lock code, what is this and where can i get it?
Secondly, unfortunately my phone recently got wet...but it seems to be fine now except for one glitch: it keeps opening applications automatically (no one touches it but it goes haywire) it specifically opens the sms messaging application and sends blank messages to the contact on the top of my phonebook list. When it does this it repeatedly sends messages until i run out of airtime or battery life...this is becoming a costly 'glitch'. It also seems to get stuck, it goes into a application automatically and when i try to exit, it just goes in and out until it either freezes or i have to turn it off.
I hope i make some sense cause this really is the weirdest experience...The Haunted phone??
Other than all that the phones great and i love it if only i could figure out how to fix this.
Please give me some advice as how to get this sorted out as i'm not insured, cash straped and i really can't live with out my phone.

1. The default Lock code is 12345 if u haven't changed it
Before going to NCP do this switch OFF the device hold on number "3" button , '*' button , green "call" key simultaneously and with any other finger hold the power button until u see the Nokia handshake if still nothing works do as point 2
2. Really haunts me, reminds me of the Movie "one missed call" all u can do is to visit a nearest Nokia care point and let them diagonise it

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
One thing is the memory, and another thing is the hard disk space. You are telling me that you have 200 GB of free space on the hard disk, but the App Store is telling you that you have to install 2 GB of memory or more on your Mac if you want to upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.
First of all, open  > About this Mac > More Info, and copy "Model Identifier" here, so we can know what Mac you have got and how much memory you can install.
We recommend to buy the memory in OWC or Crucial (Crucial is cheaper and offers the same compatibility warranty as OWC) because you won't probably have any problem with the memory you buy there

Zen 2GB Battery Issue - Please help!

$? I bought two Creative Zen 2GB as their battery life is up to 30 hours. I have a Microsoft Zune and it gets the 4 hours listed but both of the Zen's only get 0- hours per full charge. I fully charge, then run the recovery tool and run disk clean up, format, new firmware. I then add all mp3's at 28 bitrate, EQ off, bass off and keep the volume on 3. In the setup I the brightness down as far as it will go at 0%, I think you should be able to set it to 0%. But what am I missing to only get 0-2 hour max on these two new units? I recently read about Idle shutdown, but yesterday I charged the Zen 8 hours to be sure, then with all the optimal settings I cut it on at 0pm and let it run througout the night and at 9am it had very little charge left...please help with any ideas/suggestions as I just get links from Creative tech telling me things I am already doing.

Yes, I have the 2G ZEN player and it does have the "lock function" (often on the Creative's web site they neglect to mention the 2G) - I "lock it" every time I listen to my audio books. By using this function it "closes" (blackens) ?the LCD screen and saves the battery considerably.
When I first bought this player it was the first time I had an internal battery, all the other ones I had used -AAA battery. I was hesitant about using the type of battery in the ZEN player but I can listen ALL day and ALL night and still have battery life left. Then I recharge the battery in the wee hours of the morning, ready to listen to more books and music that day.
Just some thoughts,

No computer can do a thing without using memory. 1.5 GB is very little. It's normal.
3 or so hours from a full charge may also be normal, for what you are doing. As batteries age, they don't last as long on a full charge as they did when they were new. All batteries eventually wear out, and are easily replaceable.

The highest OS X version you can install on your model iMac is OS X Lion 10.7.5.

Unfortunately if you can't remember it you may need to format the phone ! However if the pass key is for the sim, you may be able to contact your service provider, as a reset will not clear a sim passkey.
How to Format Nokia N72, N73, N81, N95, NSeries Mobile Phones.

The MBA seems to cause several problems to several users on boot ups
On start up my MBA would not boot up the apple logo came on but only a blank screen appeared no fan i followed several start up recommendations but to no avail so I took the MBA to the nearest Apple repair centre again the same symptoms on start up ......very sorry sir you need a new mother board that will be $500 not feeling confidant in the product declined and was going to put it on ebay for spares.
On return home I pressed the start up button and it started normally everything was working fine i decided to reinstall all the software what has caused the problem I have no idea but it is after several attempted reboots it finally started on its own so don't give up if you have this problem it may come to life

Improperly seating memory is the curse of everyone, even experts. No one wants to "break" the memory or the slot by pushing too hard.
So, try again. Push maybe *just a twinge* harder to seat the memory (just a twinge).
As to speed ... memory mainly lets you keep more things active concurrently. Unless you were severely overtaxing your old memory and causing huge "Page Out" counts, only faster HD makes huge speed increases.

Strange problem with N81 .. Please help

My N81 phone got strange problem.. Key selction of applications are happening automatically.. None of the keys are working.. I even reinstall the phone , thinking that it might because of any virus problem..
after even installing phone software problem continues..

But to share with you, I got MFE installed on my E90 and N78, it's working fine so far. I'm a fan of the S60 platform and I only use S60 phones.. and I've also faced certain data corruption issues like what you're facing.. and the root cause cannot be diagnosed from our end. So I only back-up my numbers and calendar information, then format the phone.
And I also have a habit of rebooting my phone every 3 days or so.. it's some habit I've adopted ever since 7610 until now. Up to date, I've rarely encountered hanging or auto-rebooting issues..

I'm having this same problem. I've got 21.36G audio, 8.73 photos, 11.64 apps, 2.12 other, and negligable books and video. With all of this, I have 13.27 gigs free, and the sync error says I need about 8 gigs more. I've got an iPhone 4S running the latest iOS 6. Also, I've been using checked items to manage what gets downloaded to the iPhone, and I noticed that the checked items add up to much, much more than is on the iPhone, even though I've downloaded within the last few weeks and have songs from a few weeks ago on the iPhone. Even so, there are about a hundred fewer songs on the iPhone than are checked in iTunes.

you will be ok updating to the new software but there will be some trade off. i have 3 macbooks 2006 that are all running the latest versions.
some of the trade off are
1-2 less of battery life
slow wake ups from sleep
slower start up time about 30-40 seconds longer then what you have now
the operating system will use high % of your processer while idealing
these are not the things you want to hear about a new os compared to the old one but this is how it is even with a new macbook pro. but it's not the end of the world. just make sure you have at least more then 2GB of ram and have a good harddrive and you will be ok.

My computer has recently been experiencing some problems. Less than a month ago I had about 5 kernel panics. Suddenly, they went away, but other problems have arose. and, i might add, since it appears he is still running 10.4.8 and may not have done the 10.4.10 update, it would seem to narrow down the problem to possibly bad airport firmware or bad airport driver. something that apple needs to address. i suggest you call appleCare and get a case number started and join the club.

Ive been having a problem with my Imac 10.4. I believe that when my computer was doing the last update someone manually shut it down since then i havent been able to get into my hardrive to start up my computer. I brought it into the apple store the guy at the genius bar told me that he couldnt locate my hard drive and i would have to get a new one. I didnt purchase the new one I went home to see if i can resolve it on my own. I went out and bought a external hard drive and bought a program to fix the hard drive. So now the hard drive pops up on my computer and im able to get into it and i backed up most of my information on to the new hard drive. If now that i can see the hard drive is there any way to repair it so i can start using my computer normally again? Please help

In utilities there's disk utility, find your HD, the one you want repaired and run the repair permissions program.

What's left to do? Does the permissions tell you your HD is OK? Be more specific in what you want to do, I don't understand Shelomo. Post what it is you want done. Because there are many 3rd part applications that may solve your problem.

I ran repair disk first and it said that there was an underlining error, and i did that before i ran permissions. Will it work after the permissions is finished running?

Hi, ok so it finished running the reapir permissions and that came out ok, when I ran repair disk we got errors and the errors said ivalid record count, volume check failed, the underlying task reported failure on exit, 1 volume could not be repaired because of an error. Do you have any idea what I can try now. I really dont want to have to get a new hard drive put into my computer. Thank you

What program did you use to fix the internal hard drive? What repairs did it report making? More crucially, if repairs were reported, did you re-run the utility until it reported no problems found? It's possible for one set of problems with a drive to mask others.
If you have about 5GB or so free space on the internal hard drive, you can use your OS X Install disc to perform an Archive and Install to recover from the failed Software Update. When the computer restarts, download and run the OS X Update Combo 10.4.11 (Universal). When the Mac restarts after that, run Software Update. During all this, make sure nothing interrupts or shuts down the Mac! Note that the first start after each of these updates will take significantly longer than subsequent starts, so be very patient.
How did you back up your internal drive to the external one? Did you just drag things over in the Finder, or did you use a utility such as SuperDuper! or CarbonCopyCloner? Does the external HD show up as a bootable volume in System Preferences > Startup Disk, or using Startup Manager?
