Have a error7 (windows error 1114)
Hi after trying to install the new updates yesterday i recieve this message to reinstall itunes. Tried to but it wont install and pops up with the same message

I also had this issue for me it was MSVCR80.DLL is missing and here's how I solved it. (Windows 7)
I downloaded the latest itunes and saved the file to my computer.
Then I went to Uninstall a Program and uninstalled all apple products (itunes, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update, Apple Application Support) You can leave icloud alone for this.
When that is all done Restart your computer.
Find your saved download of itunes right mouse click and select Run as Administrator.
You should now have a working itunes again

Today i received a prompt from Apple to download the latest ITunes update. I did so and received a message that the update had failed. Now i cannot gain access to ITunes on my computer or play any of my music files associated with ITunes. I just keep getting the following 2 messages:-
Itunes not installed correctly. Please reinstall ITunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114).
Runtime Error. Program:c:\Program Files\ITunes\ITunes.exe. R6034 Application made attempt to load C runtime library incorrectly. Contact application's support team.
I have many tunes in my ITunes library & playlists which i do not want to lose. I am not computer literate and am afraid if i simply download the latest version of ITunes from the web, it may result in erasing those tunes.

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Suddenly iTunes didn´t function. Trying to reinstall Ifirst tried to delete the program and all iTunes files, but ITunes Helper could not be deleted. help. my iTunes wont open. I keep getting the message error7 (windows error 193). contacted Microsoft they said contact iTunes support. I have uninstalled all iTunes componets and then reinstalled everything but message still comes up... its driving me crazy.
If it's a Windows error, it's typically going to be a Microsoft problem. Uninstall any security software you have and if you have a restore point for your PC, you may want to restore your PC back to when iTunes was working normally. If none of those work you would need to contact Microsoft and demand help.

Hello, I couldn't wait for Apple so I have just followed konami84's solution, basically dump everything Apple and start again. I did leave icloud alone though.
I re-installed v11.1.4.62 and it appears to be working so far. I was bemused to see that many of my discs only contained the first track but they slowly reappeared, there are 600 to check so I shall leave it for now.
I also noted that the 'radio' button is not present, my theory is that this has been rapidly removed because it doesn't work, not on Windows 7 anyway. radio was there yesterday when I had all the heartache and trouble.
Just need to fix the airport express not being recognised, although it was for a short while then the icon turned orange. -

This has NEVER happened & I have had iTunes since it was first introduced. Briefly read that iTunes must now be uninstalled, then reinstalled.
The article states "In some rare instances, it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes. For most technical issues, reinstalling iTunes is an unnecessary and overused troubleshooting step."
Judging by the number of posts, it would appear that this could be an Apple iTunes issues, and a fix would help, rather than the cumbersome task as suggested.

I have been trying to update iTunes for the past month. I admit that I had not been keeping up with the updates for about a year but now that I want to update it, I am getting an error.

Well how do you do that without owning a MAC? This error pops up every time I start my computer. The other pop up says Error 7 (Windows error 1114)

Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator. -
iTunes update 11.1.4 produces an error message R6034 "An applicaton has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly" When that error is acknowledged, a second windows error 1114 "error 7" displays "iTunes was not installed correctly". I also tried to downloadiTunes 11.1.4 at th Apple website and that did not work either-It stalled with an erro message that stated the "mobile service" would not open HELP!
Hi Doug! I was having the same problem but after reading a lot of answers I found the solution. First of all you need unistall ALL THE SOFTWARE OF APPLE from your computer, I mean BONJOUR, QUICKTIME, ITUNES, APPLE SOFTWARE UPDATE, APPLE MOBILE DEVICE SUPPORT and the other one that is from compatibility with apps of apple, after that you must verify if this folders are removed if they don't then remove it:
C:\Program Files\Bonjour
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\
C:\Program Files\iTunes\
C:\Program Files\iPod\
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, you'll need to confirm that the following folders have been removed:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bonjour
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\
C:\Program Files (x86)\iPod\
Then if you have ccleaner you can use it to clean all registers left, then reboot and try to install iTunes 11.1.4 again as administrator... That works for me, I hope that helps you too... -
I just tried to install the iTunes update 11.4.1 and keep getting error messages. I have never had this issue before over many years of using iTunes and getting updates to the software. I have removed the iTunes from my computer and reinstalled it but keep getting the errors.
