Have a HP Photosmart All In One C6380

I like to print recipes, envelopes etc in odd sizes. When I finally figure it out, my printer prints Green Ink. What am I doing wrong. I'm not out of ink.

The "new, improved" 564xl black cartridge is the 3/4" wide, the previous version has been discontinued. The new cartridge is somewhat smaller and priced lower than the original 564XL. It will still fit into your printer, it needs to be centered in the slot with a bit of room on each side. It will then properly snap into position. See the page here for information.

Windows 7 64bit Photosmart All-in-one C6380 Solution Center Issue

Finally stumbled on re-installing printer SW so I was able to bring up the Solution Center page after a week of effort. The problem is it errors out after clicking on the scan buttons for either pictures or documents with the following dialog box pop-up message: "HP Imaging Device Not found", followed by a bunch of instructions for recovery, that don't work.
What I need is an older version's Imaging Device and Features files, and I don't have them on my original disk that came with the printer! And I don't know where to go get them. I've gone through the Shutdown, reboot, uninstall/reinstall device, etc. instructions and nothing helps todate. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should do next? Installing the FULL version of the printer SW doesn't cut it!

Please verify that both the iPad and the printer connected to the same network.
From the printer front panel, Click the Wireless icon.
Click Display Network Configuration
Locate the printer IP address.
From your iPad, Type the IP into Safari and check if the EWS page si accessible.
Additionally, make sure the latest Firmware is installed for the printer.:

If the latest firmware is installed, the EWS page can be accessed but the printer cannot be located as Airprint, please clarify your router brand and model.

Can my hp photosmart all-in-one 7200 printer connect to ipad 2 via bluetooth?

I have a hp photosmart all-in-one 7200 printer with a hp blue tooth dongle. It works well with my cameras, but I cannot get my ipad 2 to recognize the printer.

Printing via Bluetooth from an iPad is not possible due to iOS limitations, as Apple did not include the Bluetooth printing protocol in the iOS.
If your printer is HP Photosmart C7200, you may use the HP ePrint Home & Biz App to print from your iPad through your home network
However for the Officejet 7200 your only option is to look for any available 3rd party printing solution from the App Store.

3210 Photosmart all-in-one printer

I have a 3210 photosmart all-in-one printer. I've used this printer for 3yrs now with out a problem. I was having problems with computer being slow so I tried a fix and that led to while reloading the disc that came with printer it had a"Fatal Error". A little upset yes. Starting thinking about and I remembered when I bought my new computer I loaded all the stuff I had on my Sony Viao coputer to a laptop and transfered it to the new Dell XPS. I was hoping everything would work on the new Dell. Pretty much everthing worked. I had a online company clean my computer and tune up to be fast again. It became fast again oh yeah! Well the problem reared it ugly head the minute I push the scan button on the printer. It show an error on the little screen (no scan options)Refer to device documention to toubleshoot.I did all that stuff and I'm at a point now I've downloaded from HP an updated patch to run vista. what I realize now is when I transfered from Sony to the Dell, The Sony was running Windows 98 and my new Dell run Vista Home Premium. So as it was everything worked until now. Can anyone help me fix this?

A lot of this computer stuff is new to me so please forgive me if it takes me awhile to run it through my brain a few times to try to understand how to use the information. Maybe I could explain where my head is now. I have a DEll XPS 420 and the software that came with it had HP printer stuff on it. Just last week I had a company clean my computer of stuff that was causing it to run and start very slow . They said I had over 700 errors in the registry include some viruses. I did find the problem till a day after when I pushed the scan button on the printer.)No Scan Options) showed up on the little screen. I call that company back an explained my problem and they took control of my computer and tried to fix it. The solution they came up with was an I-con on my desk top that when you click on it it bring the paint program up and use that or he have a much more involved procedure to try to restore it. Now I've had a few days to ponder and it comes to mind that my old Sony was running Window 98 and my Dell is using Vista home premium. My Son used his laptop downloaded everything from Sony and then downloaded everything on to the Dell. my gut tells me that the software that came with the printer when i bought the Sony it is for 98,Me,2000,XP . When I uninstalled HP and went to web site downloaded latest version for my HP 3210v all-in-one printer it come up with a fatal error. HT1338 I have updated my new MacBook Pro for HP Photosmart All-in-One, but it still will not scan - it will print, but will not scan. How can I fix this?

I have installed the updates for my HP Photosmart All-in-One c309a. It prints, but will not scan. Tells me to update - I did that, but still won't scan. Any suggestions to make the scanner work?

Have you tried scanning from Image Capture or Preview?
A current driver is shown to be available for Mavericks (auto-downloaded):

But many people have found that manufacturer scanning control software doesn't work. They have to use the Apple-provided software.

You should be able to just leave it on, it should have a sleep mode which it will enter after a while.

Ink System Failed error on Photosmart All in One C7180

I have a Photosmart All in One C7180. I am getting the Ink System has failed....Error: 0xc05d0281 message. I have tried all of the suggested solutions to make this go away but it seems to be a hardware failure. Is this something that can be fixed/replaced or is the printer history? I don't want to pay for an HP service call if this is not something that can be fixed/replaced. Thank you for any help

HP PHOTOSMART ALL-IN-ONE 5510 WONT PRINT AFTER GOING TO SLEEP MODE

My printer model:
HP PHOTOSMART ALL-IN-ONE 5510 B111A
Problem:
Printer goes to sleep mode. After 25-30 minutes the wireless connection between the PC and the printer breaks. Blue Wireless light is on even at the sleep mode and I can see that the printer is connected to my router and there is internet connection. HP Print and Scan Doctor sees the printer but I cannot awake the printer unless I restart it.
What I have tried so far:
I have tried all the solutions hp.com offered including; reinstalling driver, updating printer software, setting static IP to printer, setting static DNS servers, using HP Print and Scan Doctor.
I have seen people asked about this question before and there was no solution. I really need HP help!

Let’s try this. Verify in the printer that 'Auto Off' is disabled. Set a static IP in the printer outside the DHCP range of the router. Use a fixed wireless channel like 1,6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest. Set router to 20Mhz only, or 145Mbps depending on router. Always use WPA2-AES encryption. Power off both. Power on router wait 3 mins. Power on printer and verify it reconnects to router. Now try.

Blue screen error c824C1500 on HP Photosmart All-in-one series C5580

A blue screen error c824C1500 appears on my HP Photosmart All-in-one series C5580's display when I turn it on. I have gone through the basic troubleshooting solution and it give me the same error message when I plug the power cord back in. Any other solutions? Thank you.

You probably need a new printhead or pump. Either is financially prohibitive vs. a new printer.

- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it."

Poor photo quality in Photosmart All-in-one B209a

Hello All,
I purchased a HP Photosmart 8150 printer back in 2005 for the sole purpose of making prints. Recently the thing crapped out to the extent that the repair would cost more than the printer did. It was recommended that we purchase a new printer. We bought the HP Photosmart All-in-one B209a. Most of its use will be printing photo too.
The main issue I am having is in the noticeably poor quality in the prints compared to the 8150. I was shocked since it is advertised as a good photo printer, but I can't believe that in 5 years this the quality has gone down? Can anyone confirm that this is the case: Is it just that the previous 8150 model was a better printer for photos or is there something wrong with the B209a. The quality in the shadows is especially disturbing and true black is never achieved, rather a very grainy shade of grey comes up. I have gone through the Print - Quality Toubleshooting guide online here, but the problem persists.
Any recommendations?

i have just bought the same printer and when i printed some photos using the paper supplied the pictures actualy seemed dark. I am not happy with this as you would expect the print quality to improve. does anybody know why the print quality is not as advertised?

Mac Mini and the HP Photosmart All in One Scanner

When I got my Mac Mini from MacMall, I got the free HP Printer (C3180 Photosmart all in one) printer works fine, copier works fine, but I am not able to Scan. HP is no help because their chat customer service reps "are only trained on PC related issues". The basic problem is that when I try to scan using the HP Device Manager, it either freezes up and I have to force quit or it comes up with a message saying scanner not found. I already re-installed the drivers, but no luck.
Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I even reloaded the drivers and reinstalled everything. Interesting part.... when I reinstalled, for the first initial preview scan it worked, gave me the full image on the preview screen, but after that, nothing. Wouldn't re scan, would do a final scan. And from that point doesn't even see the scanner. Worked for 30 seconds, then nothing. Printer works, copier works, but scanner is MIA.

I purchased the Photosmart all-in-one CN503B and after only 6 weeks its dead, no lights nothing.

Has anyone else had a power issue with the CN503B photosmart all-in-one, mine failed after only 6 weeks and I'm having a nightware getting through to warranty. As an HP employee I'm embarassed at the level of support given to customers so much so in fact I've put the printer in a cupboard and bough a Canon instead.

I have had a Photosmart 310a for about a year with no problems. Did you buy a unit through the employee sales channel? As I recall these are generally refurbished and do not have the standard (or any?) warranty.
That said, what are the symptoms? Does the LED on the power supply light up? If not you probably need a new power supply, probably available on eBay for under $15 with shipping included. The troubleshooting steps in this page may help resolve the issue.

Photosmart all i one 7520 Printing problems the wrong scale the printout

I will print covers for DVD cases. Have done it before from two different programs to my previous photosmart printer without problems. Now since I change the Photosmart All in One 7520 will be reduced format in both height and width. A degradation of the picture takes place.

I understand you are facing some issues when printing DVD cases from your Photosmart 7520.
I would recommend checking the printers specifications, as this unit may support different sizes, paper types, etc than the previous printer did.
