Have a logo stay on each page after presentation
hi
any help is greatly appreciated, i have this presentation, with slides and movies and i want to be able to have the logo come on after each slide or film has finished,so as i talk the logo will be on rather than a black screen.
does anyone know how to do this, the logo is a 5 second quicktime movie ,is there a type of script that will do this automatically?

Two ways you can do this, if I understand correctly. One is to insert a new slide with the logo on it after each element. Use a dissolve transition. Second, your movie has an entry, say a dissolve, so it appears on the slide and plays. Upon its completion you have a buildout set for the movie to dissolve out. You then have the logo dissolve in or whatever build in you want to use. You set the logo's build in to be simultaneous with the movie's build out. You'll then have the logo on screen until you click to advance to the next slide.

Print each page range double sided as new task
Hi All,
I have that problem. I would like to double sided print some pages from pdf file - let's say pages 1 to 5. But I want them to print like this - pages 1-2 on the first sheet of paper, page 3 on the second sheet (the other side of this sheet I want to be blank) and pages 4-5 on the third sheet.
If I type page ranges 1-3,4-5 when printing the result will be the same if I would type page range 1-5, so pages 1-2 will print on first sheet, pages 3-4 on the second sheet and page 5 on the third sheet. That's not what I want.
The only solution is to first print pages 1-3 and then open printing dialog box again and print pages 4-5 so they would be two separate tasks for printer. But this is very time consuming when working with large files.
I do not have Adobe Acrobat to insert blank page after each section that is odd numbered so this is no solution for me.
Could you please help? Any ideas how to work this out? Is there any printing set up to print each page range as separate task?
Or maybe there is a way to double sided print odd numbered page ranges with an additional blank page at the end so that the next range would start on new sheet?

check ur printer settings , bcos u are using std.program , so i cannt say SAP is doing wrong , better to check ur printer settings

Repeating User input (such as name and date) on each page automatically
Is there a way of having the information provided by the user on one page, such as name and date, automatically repeated on separate pages (perhaps as a header/footer.) The input would be via Reader only.
I have an application form of four pages, after the first page there is no direct unique evidence linking the remaining pages to the first.
Basically I want each page when printed to have an identifier, so that in the event of the pages getting mixed up, they can be put back together.

- You can use Global binding, so user nter data one time and every field with the same name automaticaly get the same value.
- You can use some Javascritp to obtain similar effects (more complicated but more fexible):
Create a Js Object (name it Global for Example).
Create some variables, i.e.: var field1;
Place one field in master pages and in their initialize event use the statement below:
Global.field1 = this;
In this way you obtayn a refernce that you can use everywhere in your form.
For example you can write: Global.field1.rawValue = "Hello word";

I switched form IE to FF. In IE, I could select text (or photos) and print just the portion of web pages and emails that I wanted, thus saving paper and ink. I have not been able to do that with FF. I have to print all of each page, so text, ads, and whatever other extraneous material prints. What a waste! Is there any way to select and print just what I need using FireFox? Currently I have to run both IE and FF to handle my printing and documentation needs. Thank you!
Still happens with Firefox 12. I wish they'd just fix it, the way it used to be in Firefox 10, without the complicated workaround suggested above.

I am working in Pages on a report and trying to have the same footer on each page. I went to View/Layout, followed instructions, but the footer text only appears on the first page and not any subsequent pages? What should I do differently please? Thank you., Elisabeth

Hello Experts,
I am issuing the output of the shipment through VT02N. Both Print program and the form are customized(Z).
The form contains two pages each with different layouts.
<b>First page to print the item
Second page is to print an Acknowledgement</b>
My requirement is If the Shipment has the two items of two <b>different delivery address</b> then I have print the item in each page like
Page 1 - Item 1
Page 2 - Ackonwledgement
Page 3 - Item 2
Page 4 - Ackonwledgement and so on.
SImilarly if the shippment has 5 items and with same Delivery address then I have print all the 5 items in the same page.
I have tried with New-Page option but it is not solving my requirement.
Hope the requirement is clear.
Could anyone please suggest a solution for this Issue.

Double sided printing, adding blank page after two different groups

I have created a report that is structured as such:
Group 1 - Based on formula, groups by type
Group 2 - Based on formula, groups by use
Group 3 - use (pulled directly from Database)
Group 4 - ID
I have the report printing an extra page after group 3. I used this formula in the Section Expert - New Page After
remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
I also use that formula to reset the page number
What I would like to do is print a second blank page if group 2 does not start on the top of the page, meaning I do not want either group 3 or group 2 to start on the back of a page, so that this report can be placed in a binder, with dividers.
I have group 3 giving me a blank page with no issues, it is just group 2.
Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated. If I did not give enough details, I am sorry.

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, not to mention a lot of curse words directed at the computer, I was able to get this to work. Now I just have to do it for three groupings instead of two (deliver the impossible to your bosses, and they turn around and move the brass ring right out of reach again!)
In case anyone is interested in how I was able to manage this (I found many sites where people asked this question, but not one complete answer), this is what I did:
In the footer section:
Group 4 - ID (database field)
Group 3 - PrimeUse (database field)
3a - Contains data
3b - Contains data
3c - New Page After, Keep Together, and Reset Page Number After are all checked. In the condition for Reset Page Number After I also have this formula:
remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
3d - New Page After, Keep Together, and Reset Page Number After are all checked. In the condition for New Page After I have this formula:
remainder(pagenumber,2)=0
Group 2 - Suppressed
Group 1 - Grouped by Store Type -
1a - Suppressed, New Page After and Keep Together are all checked.
1b - New Page After and Keep Together are checked. In the condition for New Page After I have to following formula:
remainder(totalpagecount,2)=1
If anyone sees any errors, or if you think you can get it so that I get another page blank, after Group 1, if the Group starts on an even numbered page, I would appreciate the help.

Dynamic table with header on each page

I am new to livecycle forms. I am not sure if I am asking a silly question but this is what I need to achieve.
I am designing a pdf form using livecycle designer. Need to build a dynamic table using data from xml. The challenge is I need to have a signature button on each page and the button will be below the table. So if there are for eg. 100 rows of data, then the table should be split into 5 pages of 20 rows each page (each page should have the table header) or based on page content and the button should be on the bottom of each page. Is it possible to achieve this? Also any example/suggestion on implementing signature using signature pad would be greatly appreciated.Hi,
For individual objects, like the button that you want to appear on each page, you should place this on the Master Page. Position the button at the bottom of the page and then make sure that you size the Content Area, so that the button is OUTSIDE of the content area. This way objects on the design page will not overflow over the button. See here: http://assure.ly/g0Wx7r.
If you are using a Table object for your data, then you can set it to repeat the Header row, see the Object palette.
If you are using ADEP Designer 10 (latest version of Designer) AND your users will have Acrobat X/Reader X (eg version 10.1), then you could use Flash object for a signature field. Prior to updating my iPhone5 to the "new and improved" ios.7, I used to be able to go to my Notes app and scroll through the various categories until I found the item I was looking for. Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question.
