Have a MF8580Cdw that will not copy. The little lights on the B&W and color start buttons are no longer lit up either.

Sounds as if it's a hardware issue - if I were you, I'd take the unit into your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them run diagnostics on the machine. I'm fairly certain that it's a hardware problem.

Ios 7.1 etc. has a problem with communicating with exchange. There are lots of reports of problems with pdf files.

I have a header that will not suppress conditionally. The report consist of 2 reports a main report and a subreport. The main report will not show context if the subreport has information for that user. I got that to work but the main reports header is still appearing. I used the suppress if blank with a formula with out success. How can I do this?

I have done this before to isolate. Take the formula you are using for suppresion, copy it, create a new formula and paste into it.
something like if = condition then true else false
Now unsupress everything in the report and add the formula to all your sections, groups, etc.
You should then be able to see True, or false, in each of your sections, by reviewing this, you can verify that your conditional formula is actually doing what you think it should be. If it is not, you may want to reverse the logic in the formula, or adjust it untill it meets your criteria.
You can also refer to the new formula to supress a section, or group.
Supression occurs when the formula, or condition returns a true.

I have an iPad that will not connect to the wifi at our house. My sister also has an iPad and it connects automatically. Mine is the only one that will not. I can't figure how to get it to work. I have taken my iPad other places with wifi and it connects right away. I know that some wifi systems have a limit on how many things can connect to them but I have even gone so far as turn off the wifi on every device that we have that connects to the wifi and it still doesn't work. Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I also got a response from Apple who said that there was a problem related to fonts and the encryption.xml file
Once we'd removed this we were able to upload the epub no problem.
It's odd that the system seems to say that all is okay when it isn't. We have to rely on guesswork rather a lot using iBook Producer.
Anyway, all sorted now and thank you again for your contribution.

For all people struggling with connecting their iPad to their router, constantly getting 'Incorrect Password' even though you have entered the correct one - this may be your solution as it just resolved my issue.
In your router settings online (usually found at 198.168.1.1) change your security from WPA2 or WEP to WPA. For my iPad it for some reason only accepts WPA but now it is running without problems. Let me know if this helps.

Finally there are two boxes to click. One says not now. If I click on that the box goes away for 2 to 3 seconds and then pops back up and WILL NOT go away. If I click on the second box, Install, it says The software is currently unavailable. To install a Java SE 6 runtime later, open Java Application again.
My confusion here is that I have no idea what the java application is, When I click "okay" on that box, the original box pops us again and WILL NOT go away. CGoing to the apple lega web site was no help. My solution so far has been to drag the dialogue box as far to the lower right and out of the way as far as I can. Help.

Does this happen immediately after you log in? If so, one of your login items is probably causing it.
