Have a new iphone, want to erase everything from old one, but not affect the new one

Bought a new iphone, got all my apps and data in it, now want to give my old phone away, and want to erase it, how to do it without affecting the new iphone?

For the music and photos, just copy them into your own new library. They will be usable even though they are tied to the old account. (The exception will any DRM-infected songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store before mid-2009.)
For the apps, decide which ones you still like, and get new copies in your new account.

I understand that you have music on an iPod from your old computer. You now have a new computer but do not want to have the music from the iPod erased when you sync to the new computer. If the music on your iPod was purchased from iTunes you can either transfer those purchases from the iPod to your new computer’s iTunes Library or you can download the previously purchased content directly to your iTunes Library from iTunes. I have same problem, been using a macbook 13" for nearly 9 years but it was failing so I bought a macbook pro 15" and after having problems and error messages when trying to download loops ( I finally went to the App Store and opened garageband from there which install some loops), it finally downloaded some but not all the loops that my jam packs had, also I have tons of non-apple loops that I purchased over the years but I want to know if they will work on my new mac ?

Adobe Reader X can only save reader-enabled forms. Adobe Reader XI can save all forms.

What payment method are you trying to use? Prepaid debit cards by chance? Apple does not accept prepaid cards.

Go to Settings>Safari>Auto Fill>On .... Names and Passwords>On .... Use Contact Info>On. Make sure that your contact information is correct.
Then quit Settings and Safari completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I have an itunes account and an ipod, and when I purchased 2 albums on the computer they synced straight to the ipod. I bought an iphone and used the usb cord from the computer to it to sync the itunes albums to the new phone. Everything transfered, and those were albums I had uploaded (not purchased from the itunes store), except the two albmus I just purchased from the itunes store. They appear on my itunes on the computer and ipod, but not on the iphone. What did I fail to do or did I do incorrectly?

This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

Hi. I just got a new iPhone 4S to replace my old iPhone 3GS. For some reason when I tried using setting up my new phone from the backup of m old phone it put a backup of my iPad. Is there a way I can retrieve this data for the phone? I didn't have any contacts with the ipad backup, just the phone and I really need them.
