Have a new phone, unable to complete Developer Phone Registration for it

I got a new HTC One phone, plugged it into my PC. I run the 'Developer Phone Registration' program on the pc, and I get as far as the status reporting it has identified the 'Window Phone device'. Then it opens a window for signing in, but it
never populates the sign-in screen, it just sits there.

The trick was to use the USB cable that came with HTC One, I was using the USB cable that came with my older phone, the Nokia Lumia. Note it does connect using that older cable.

Go into Settings App and turn OFF Find My iPhone. It will ask for your old password, but in the future you can use your new Apple ID account. Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

The absolute best way to do this is to transfer your iTunes library from the old computer to the new one. You can find a numbr of ways to do that here.

If you want to spend the money for a computer application that will let you transfer all of the content from the iPad to iTunes - look at

However, I have posted this many times over the past few months. If you follow these instructions you should be fine. This will transfer the purchased content from the iPad into iTunes on the Mac. You will still want to get your photo library and any CD's that you imported into iTunes on the new Mac. That is why transferring the iTunes library to the new Mac is the best way to go.
When you set up the new Mac - if you can import or migrate all of the PC content onto the Mac - this will all be a non issue, but I'm not sure how to bring all of your PC content onto the Mac. Going from an old Mac to a new Mac was a breeze, but I know nothing about transferring the content from a Windows PC.
The 3 basic things to remember - authorize the computer, (Launch iTunes on your computer and go to Store>Authorize this Computer) transfer purchased content and backup.

1) Without connecting your iPad to your Mac, start iTunes. Click on iTunes. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your Mac and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on iTunes / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.

The worst case scenario is that you can download all of your apps again if needed - but you will not retain the data or app settings - but it is always an option if everything else fails - but it won't fail!

When I went to use iwork the programs did not work anylonger (I do own the disc and tried reinstalling but no good). I found the update for Keynote on the apple site and that solved the problem for keynote. Then I saw the update for the whole iwork program and tried to do that as well but it won't let me run it because it says I have a newer version of Keynote already installed. Going to my account did not work because it's the right information. When I have trouble is when I'm trying to sign in for upgrades. There are some letters in the "sign in" box that will not go away...and I can not put the right sign in in that space. Which means that I can not upgrade Pages or any of the rest of the apps that came (free) with this new computer.

deggie- thanks. We got his iPod restored and got his library set up. Now the problem I'm having is I did something to my library. It's now blank. I've been careful not to erase my iPod, but even when I plug it in, my library is blank. I tried following the directions for creating separate iTunes libraries for each iPod, but pretty sure I did something wrong, even though I followed the directions step by step.

9971 phone unable to complete PSTN calls

Has anyone ran into this problem? I'm testing with a SIP9971 phone. In order to make PSTN calls we have to disable video on the device configuration page. When video is enabled, calls to landline work but no ringback. Local cell calls I get a busy signal. Long distance cell calls we get number cannot be completed as dialed from CM. All other models work fine. I'm thinking it fails because of what is sent in the Setup message or type being sent. Gateways are H323 with PRIs.

I have checked the debug you attached. And i see the reason of disconnect is unassigned/unallocated number, which is caused because you are not sending the call type and plan. I have seen also there is another call which was sent successfully to the PSTN.
Now you need to check the following, when you disable the Video from the phone how is the debug looks like, and when you enable the video how it looks like also.

Unable to complete developer registration

This is the second time in a month, with exactly the same problem:
I enter in the DUNS details EXACTLY as supplied and it just keeps saying the details don't match, locks me out and tells me to go to support. I've been trying to enroll in the developer program for over a month now, I've had two different DUNS numbers assigned, and nothing works. Its a total joke - and not even being able to use phone support to get it sorted makes it worse. Roll on Android, I say!

Scroll down to the item labeled "Wi-Fi Address" It will be a series of 12 letters and numbers separated into groups of 2 by colons. That's the MAC id.
