have successfully added my verizon email acct along with existing gmail.....however, cannot receive any messages from pc to phone....what step did I miss?

On 3G we cannot send emails from either our iPhones or iPad and this also happens with some WiFi connections but not all. Yet we can always send emails from our Hotmail Email account. What is causing this and what do we need to do to resolve it?

We bought the iPhones and Ipad so that we could send emails while we are out of the Office, but we are not able to do this unless we can find a WiFi connection. Incoming emails are fine. We use IMAP, for Business emails just incase this is relevant and I know that Hotmail is POP3.
Our technical IT knowledge is not great, so we look forward to your suggestions as to how to resolve this.

Contact whomever supports the email account and get the correct Outgoing email server settings from them.

I did what you've told me, new account and manually copied my files from Time Machine. I had lots of permissions problems, but at the end, almost everything is in order... It seems it had to be with some of the Apple Preferences, but I can't be sure, as most of them were dumped to the trash can.
I still don't have my Mail Rules back, unfortunately, although I did goggled some. It is a pity, as I had around 30 or 40 of them, getting my mail in order to each of its mailboxes, but it is a small price as the rest doesn't show the before syntoms.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.
You should however be able to add existing accounts to your device, are you sure you aren't trying to create on rather than simply use an existing one.

Can you trun on WiFi? If WiFi is on and you still don't see any networks go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset network settings.

The Touch Copy third party software for PC's is the way to go it seems and although the demo is free, if you have over 100 songs then it costs £15 to buy the software which seems not a lot to pay for peace of mind. and restoring your iTunes library back to how it was.

Hey all. I have two 22" Acer monitors that I picked up pretty cheap from Amazon. Currently I run on my laptop with one of the monitors off to the right. Works pretty well but I'd like to do the following:
I wanted to set it up so that when I'm at my desk I can use an external keyboard and mouse and both of the monitors side-by-side. Basically I want to be able to just close the lid on the MacBook and use it as a CPU only when I'm at my desk.
I'm wondering what the best way is to accomplish this. I think I'd need one of those "splitters" perhaps (I think Matrox makes them, maybe others). However I'm also wondering how that would work with MBP and how easy it would be to dock and un-dock the laptop in that sort of arrangement.
Maybe this is just too difficult to get working properly but I'm thinking there has to an option.

Also, it's crazy to me that the Matrox devices are so expensive. Costs more to buy those then the actual monitors...
I suspect that most of the people using the Matrox devices are also using pretty good monitors, and are used to paying more for quality. Look at it this way: by buying cheapo monitors instead, you've saved yourself enough money to buy the matrox box you need to use them (assuming, of course, that it's compatible — about which there does seem to be some question).

OBIEE11.1.1.6.2BP1 All working properly untill this noon after that i got nQSError: 73006 error. while cross checking services status--> BI All services are up and running. i just verified with OPMNCTL status.Weblogic console and Weblogic EM is run and the default weblogic userid works fine to login to console and EM. However, with the same userid when I am Logging into Analytics, I got the below error
error on BI Analytics login page:

What is the file name of the video(s) you want to sync?
Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
