  • I have an idea for Apple's iPhone!!!

    I think it would be super cool if the charger was wireless, then people wouldn't complain about the cord being so short. Also, now you have extra space because the charger is wireless, so they should allow a micro SD card or just a normal one to be put in there. That would allow people to have more spce on their phone and it would make it a lot easier to dowload it to a computer. If you could use an SD card, whenever your phone became full of pictures and you can't take any more photos you could just take out the SD card and put in another one. I really hope Apple reads this and thinks about it. I'm a huge fan and so are my parents, but they're starting to think about switching to Galaxy. I'm not saying Galaxy is bad, I'm just saying that I think the iPhone is better and they need to get really creative so people don't have anything bad to say about it. Please hear me out, PLEASE!!!! I really do hope Apple reads this....thank you.

    If you have an idea for how applications can share with Apple?

    See Apple - Legal - Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy
    Basically they do not accept unsolicited ideas but if you insist on sending the idea to them they own it outright.   If the idea is that good you should look into developing it yourself. Then once it's a hit Apple may buy to from you.
    good luck

  • New idea for apple

    I have a great idea for Apple.  With a market cap fast approaching 600 billion, Apple should consider expanding their product base.  Apple should consider entering the automobile industry.  Apple could specialize in an automobile that revolutionizes the simplicity of what cars are really meant for, transportation.  The vehicle can be as simple as possible and allow passengers to fully integrate any Apple device or product into the design and function.
    The vehicle can be totally top secret and be rumored to be the most fuel efficient vehicle in history.  Taking everything into account such as carbon output, battery life, affordability, safety, simplicity and maintenance.
    The name can be "Apple Stem" or "Apple Branch" or "Apple Core" or "Apple Seed" or "Apple One, Two, Three, etc., etc.."
    The vehicle could and should be marketed for all ages.  One line can be marketed for the first time driver through college.  Special financing can be available that would allow for excellent interest rates while allowing a young teen to establish good credit in the process.
    Another line of vehicles could be geared toward the aging population, with full integration of voice map features to help drivers navigate.  The speakers can be mounted in the headrest so the hearing impaired can hear the directions more easily.  This vehicle would also be the most simplistic of all, with room to expand features as appropriate.
    I have other ideas as well if you are interested.

    Apple does not accept unsolicited ideas. If you insist on sending them your idea according to  Apples policies the idea becomes the property of Apple and you loose all rights to it.
    It would be better for you to develop the idea, then if it amounts to anything and Apple is interested they will contact you. (As with Apples current move to acquire Beats Electronics).
    regards

  • What do I do if I have an idea for an app

    what do I do if I have an idea for an app?

    If you decide to DIY, see:
    Choosing an iOS Developer Program / Which Developer Program is for you?
    ...then...
    Use the resources you paid for in the IOS Dev Center. Also iTunes/iTunes U ~ Stanford.
    iOS/Xcode books are a waste of money. If you must go that route, get something on Obj-C/Cocoa and know that there are iBooks from Apple on those and iOS.

    i have an idea for an app and want to better understand the process... reputable developers, costs, margins on a .99 cent app etc.  thanks

    All the reputable devs are busy and out of reach.
    Apple takes 30% from the price, so you're left to figure profit after knowing how many you will sell/did sell.
    Development costs can range from less than USD$10k to six figures or more.
    You don't provide details on what category you plan on participating in, so it makes anything but dartboard guessing pretty difficult, sorry

  • What if I want to recommend a new idea for apple?

    I have come up with an idea for apple, but I can not find a place to submit it, it might be a little far-fetched but I am very optimistic.

    Apple states they do not accept or consider unsolicited ideas. http://www.apple.com/legal/intellectual-property/policies/ideas.html
    However, you can always go to http://www.apple.com/feedback and make suggestions there.

    You may have to do this several times.
    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom
