Have audio and slides. Want synchronized movie.

I thought this was going to be simple.
I have an audio recording (.wav) of a lecture and the slide deck that goes with it. I want to create a movie by importing the audio file and the slides (keynote) into a project, and then adjust the slide transitions so the slides are synchronized with the lecture. I figured out how to do this with GarageBand's podcast feature. But I want a large format movie, not a little iPod size movie that are fuzzy when you enlarge the playback window on a computer.
What are the easiest set of steps to get what I want?
Is there a better tool than iMovie to do this?

I figured out a solution. It was not obvious.
First I export all my slides as static images; I chose TIFF format.
Now here is the non-intuitive part: I imported the TIFF files into iPhoto, not iMovie. From the iPhoto window, I can drag each slide/picture into my iMovie project. Then I use a combination of "clip adjustments" to make the slides appear longer in the movie, and then make them shorter by dragging the right-edge of the picture clip. (I don't understand why you cannot just drag the clips right-edge to make it longer.)
I really like the "audio scrub" effect when I am dragging the right-edge of my pictures, it helps me synchronize my slide transitions with the audio. But it is frustrating in that "scrub mode" doesn't always work unless you grab the edge "just right." (I still do not know what "just right" is, I just fiddle until it works.)

Also, there's no need to find the original disk for installation. Just download the latest update of your purchased version from here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ and user your original serial number.

Launch iTunes.

Capture Audio and Slide show with JMF?

Can anyone guide me to start on how to stream or capture both Audio from the Mic and Slide show from Power point and generate a AVI file.
ie., User starts presenting a Conference with Audio and Slide show, I want to implement an Application that runs in the background and Merges Audio and Slides to a AVI or MOV file.

You cannot. You have to make your own download by signing into the App Store using your Apple ID then downloading the file.
If you just want to install it on your computer, then copy the file to a flash drive and transfer it to your computer.

I just installed LR CC and am having trouble opening catalogs where I followed the instructions to upgrade. Just posted a question about it.
Discovered a problem when I went looking for some images that were not included in the most recent catalog. Yes, it's possible, but if your Windows system is on a Boot Camp partition then you have to first remove it. Then create however many partitions you want for the operating systems. You have OS X on one, so you need two more - one for Windows and one for Linux. You then install Windows and Linux separately to their respective partitions. Download rEFIt
Use it as the replacement bootloader so you can properly boot from each OS properly.

I have Mavericks and I want to transfer my iPhoto library to an external drive to free up a ton of space on my hard drive. Can't transfer the whole thing. It says part of it is being modified. When it started it said it would take 56 days also. Is there an easy way to transfer it? In older versions of iphoto It had a lot of folders in the pictures folder under users. I could transfer bit by bit each day if I wanted. Seems that there is only one gigantic iphoto Library now and I can't transfer the whole thing. Can you please help?

My OS version is Version 10.9 My iPhoto version is 9.5 (9027)
I was trying to bring it to my external drive that I use for placing random files (not a TimeMachine backup). It's a USB connection and it has a 2T storage capacity with plenty of room.
So I dragged it into the icon of the external drive and it "prepared" to transfer for a long time. Then at the end of that, it said it couldn't tramfer because part of it was being modified. (I can try it again to get the exact wording of this error message if you need it). Then I clicked ok, then there was a small window that looked like a small part of the iphoto library was transfered with the timeline there and the beginning portion blue with the rest of the line empty. At the right it said 56 days remaining. =) But that little window was frozen and wasn't doing anything. I tried it three times and it did the same thing each time exactly as I've described.

If you want to work in Australia you will need to research the different VISA laws etc. Trying to come "onsite" is a challenge. SAP job demand goes through cycles and sometimes it is difficult to find a position. You might want to look at the large consultancies and see if there is an opportunity for onsite work as part of the project (more than likely make sponsorship easier).
The difficult challenge - most times development work is sent offshore (not all places of course). The work kept in Australia is either they cannot outsource it (federal government and so you need to be an Australian citizen) or it will be more senior staff (10+ years experience). It doesn't mean the work isn't available but you might be competing with other established professionals.

I downloaded the latest free version of quicktime. I am trying to play a movie (mpeg-4) that was downloaded from youtube. It plays fine on my other pc, but I only get audio and no video when I open it on this pc. It shows up like static lines on a tv that has bad reception. Can anyone offer some suggestions please? I need to play it on thislaptop computer as I require it for a school presentation. Thank you.

Open your QuickTime control panel (either via the Control panels, or by going "Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences" in the Quicktime Player). In the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable Direct3D video acceleration:
... and click OK. Quit and restart the QuickTime Player prior to checking to see if the settings change has had any effect.
