Have begun having a problem - symptom is windows message saying "R6034 A program has attempted to load the C runtime library incorrectly. I have re-installed Itunes, the installation failed with an inability to start apple mobile device service also.

Itunes quit working after a failed Itunes update. Don't know why the update failed, but afterwords I got an error stating
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I removed and reinstalled iTunes. This resulted a problem during the install - "Apple mobile device" service failed to start. After ignoring this a couple of times, the install continued, ultimately resulting in failure, and the R6034 message showing up twice, once associated with iTunes.exe and once with ITunesHelper.exe.
Also got "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (windows error 1114)
Can anyone help?

it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Error 1067 when starting Apple Mobile Device service with Iphone 4S

Hi,
Excuse me for my bad english but I'm from Spain. I need your help.
When I start Itunes I get an error because Apple Mobile Device service is not started, and when I try to start It from windows services (it's fixed to start automatically but it does not starts on windows start up) I get an 1067 error. I don't have any mega* program installed, wich I've seen could be the cause of the error.
If I install Itunes 10.0 with it's Apple Mobile Device service this service starts with no problem but I can't use Itunes because I get an error when I start Itunes, any version of Itunes under 10.5 don't recognise my Iphone, and in 10.5 and newer versions I do get the famous 1067 error. I tried to reinstall several times/versions but I always get the same error in any version.
What can I do?

With a 1067 I'd try the following document. (MegaUpload and MegaKey are the usual culprits, but I've seen other LSP conficts produce the 1067 too.)

Can't start apple mobile device service

I downloaded the latest itunes version onto a Windows 7 computer and now I can't start the apple mobile device service. Why is that?

I have found the solution to this.
Step 1 - Uninstall itunes and apple apps.
Step 2 - right-click on My Computer and click on manage
Step 3 - Click on the Services And Applications tab
Step 4 - Click Services
Step 5 - look for Apple Mobile Device and double-click on it.
Note: It should be disabled and not at automatic! try doing a disk clean up on to make sure
the Apple Mobile Device service is ready to be deleted. *You should be able to see the service is at the point of deletion. means you cannot enable it anymore.
Step 6 - restart your computer. *your computer should have a update.
Step 7 - go into the Services And Applications tab again to confirm the Apple Mobile Device is deleted.
Step 8 - Install itunes.
Step 9 - enjoy itunes

I performed the most recent update of iTunes, but it did not install properly. How do I verify that i have sufficent privileges to start Apple Mobile Device services?

I am trying to download Itunes on my new HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 7. I get mostly though the downloading process until it gets to "Starting Services". Once there it says that "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services" and gives me the options to Abort, Retry, and Ignore. I have pressed all three buttons and itunes has yet to fully instal on my computer. Help?

Try a more recent version of my advice. The "for older video cards version" may work when the default version doesn't.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
