Have credit but itunes still charging me for purchases
I have over $90 in credit and made a small $4 purchase and itunes charged my credit card instead of taking it from my credit. When I try to get Apple support to get that fixed I'm just getting bounced around from screen to screen! Any suggestions on why that happened and how to get aht back? Thank you!!

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
If you are trying to gift content then you will need a credit card, your balance can't be used for gifting.
If you mean that you are being asked to enter credit card details when trying to purchase then that doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged, entering card details is a way of confirming that you are able to buy from that country's store - and if it's a new account, and the instructions on this page weren't used to create the account, then card details will need to be entered before the account can be used in the store. If you are asked for card details then you should be able to remove them after entering it -
I used an iTunes card and it shows the full balance available, but is still charging my credit card. Why is this?
I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I've heard that some debit or pay as you go credit cards require a minimum balance, so make sure you have at least that amount in your account.

I tried to purchase music at iTunes with the iTunes card I was given. I was able to redeem the amount and it shows on my apple Id I have $25 but it does not pay my purchase it will still go to my credit card and bill it. It did not give an option.
If you were instructed to call them, then that's what you should do. They will probably need to verify your identity before helping you with the security question.

Ive downloaded fifa 13 and in want to buy fifa points but when i purchase them it says contact itunes support. I have got apple id credit and a valid credit card payment on my accout but it still wont let me purchase it. What is the problem?

My ipod touch used to sync on my old Hp laptop but now it's not even recognized as a device but will still charge on my new asus windows laptop. Itunes on my old laptop is missing something and won't work and I've reinstalled itunes on the HP already. Could somebody please help me to get my ipod touch to sync on the Asus laptop please?!

I have redeemed a code a few months back and bought some music. I have credit left but am still being asked for a redemption code. I no longer have the code, but according to apples help topics I do not need it. How do I purchase without the code?
OK, you need to follow these instructions to remove the old iCloud account:
1. Go to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with your current ID and password. Edit your ID back to the old email address. This is temporary. Do NOT verify it, do NOT change your password: Apple - My Apple ID
2. Go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom of the page. Depending on the iOS that you are running you will see either Delete Account or Sign Out. Click on this to Delete/Sign Out of the old iCloud account. Follow the prompts, and type in your current password when asked. Continue to follow the prompts until the account is signed out/deleted
3. Go back to Manage your Apple ID and sign in with the old email address and your current password, and edit your Apple ID back to the new ID. You may need to verify it again
4. Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign in with the new ID

The language on my phone was changed to japanese. I have switched it back to English, but itunes still has some japanese writing on it.

I discovered (by trial and error) that I needed to disable my credit card details so that my iTunes credit could be accessed for a purchase. Went to my account and clicked 'none' where credit card details were listed. Then went back to store and clicked 'buy'. My iTunes money was then used. Hope this helps you too.

I have matched my music library but iTunes still takes up a major portion of my hard drive
i have matched my itunes library but itunes still is taking up a big chunk of my hard drive. i want to get rid of it but want access to my cloud library of course. am afraid to just delete the library as it exists now. simply put i just want to clear up space and still have access to my library in the cloud.

Make a backup of it first.

Yes, this is what iTunes Match does.
Delete songs from your computer and uncheck Also delete this song from iCloud.
