Unless you deliberately downgraded iTunes at the same time this may be a sign of a corrupt library. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

I have down loaded Mavericks on my MacBook and lost my photo library.

Is there any way of retrieving photos that are no longer in my photo library after down loading Mavericks on my MacBook air? I only have photos in my stream. No I foolishly didnt back them up.

I uploaded my ipod to a third party software and now I cant find the files.

I was having major problems syncing my ipod with iTunes so I used a third party software called "MediaWidget" to upload my data to itunes, it said it had succesfully uploaded and when i looked in itunes they were all there BUT I then restored my ipod and all data from it was erased when I tried to Sync it with Itunes the following error message came up...
"Some of the items in the iTunes library were not copied to the ipod because they could not be found"
So I then selected some random songs in itunes and it said that the files could not be found. What has happened to my data? PLEASE HELP!

Files (PDF documents) are not stored in Acrobat or Adobe Reader; they are simply files on your disk.
If you mean what program should open your PDFs by default, use Edit | Preferences | Select Default PDF Handler to specify the default program.

If you previously synced to another computer and do not have the backup files you will lose your app data. You will have to restore to factory defaults/new iPod and then sync to the new computer.

It should be in the Music app - when there are audiobooks on your iPhone you should get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) so that you can take a backup of it.

From what I understand, this problem occurs because of the fact that DSC loads some DLLs dynamically in some of its VIs. Since they are loaded dynamically (instead of having concrete search paths), it takes LabVIEW a while to find them...if it takes too long, you will receive the error you mentioned.
From what I understand, this problem does not occur in the 6.1 version of the DSC module. If you are still using 6.0.2, the simplest workaround for now is to use the File >> Open option in LabVIEW instead of double-clicking on the LLB.

Okay. It seems unlikely to be the class of similar problems caused by various Symantec programs blocking installs.
It's a bit of a mystery in the first place why the 16 bit DOS subsystem is running in this context. (The iTunes installer is 32-bit on XP machines.)
Just in case it's a damaged NTVDM, perhaps try an sfc /scannow:

From the Safari menu bar, select Safari ▹ Preferences… ▹ Security and uncheck the box labeled Enable plug-ins. Test.
