Have downloaded an audio book, and it won't open. It has a red dot next to it, but has downloaded.

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.

Thank you. I noticed that the file on my computer was not as large as it was supposed to be, so I downloaded it first thing this morning and was able to open and install it. Thanks for the help to all.

Downloaded audio books and they came in duplicates how do I get a refund?

I was downloading an audio book and it downloaded in duplicates. How do I get credit and/or cancel? I don't know what I did to cause this.

When you receive the confirmation eMail from the iTunes store, check to see if it charged you twice or just once. If it is not correct, there is a reply link under the item to "Report a Problem".

Downloaded audio books and the voice wobbles

I downloaded an audio book off itunes onto my computer and the voice wobbles. Is there any way I can fix it or download it again without paying for it twice? I've never had any problems with music or other downloaded audio books so I don't know what happened.

I'm unable to re-download audio book and can't find it in my purchases or downloads

I downloaded an audio book, but I started listening to it before the download had completed and for whatever reason it didn't fully download part 1. Whenever I'd try to listen to it again it would then jump to part 2. I deleted it with the intention of re-downloading it but I can no longer find it in my purchases or downloads. If I try to buy it it says 'buy again'. Is there any way for me to get my download?

Don't know what this means. Once you download them once. They will never download again. You have taken delivery of them. They are now yours to keep up with, move/copy/backup.
For future downloads, they will download from any computer from which you have signed in.
You can open itunes on your computer and download the next one if you like, as long as you have not downloaded elsewhere.

Downloaded audio book and want to convert to Mp3 ideas?

Cant figure out how to convert the songs and Audio books i bought and downloaded to MP3 format for my Blackberry or any MP3 player for the matter. I also wanted to know if anyone knew how to expant the 5 share thing due to the fact my daughter my wife and myself all have laptops and MP3 players so in my world that makes 6 any ideas would be appreciated I am new to this I tunes still learning.

Before asking for a refund, also try deleting the book and redownloading it.
If you find that the iBookstore is does not meet your needs, you can try one of the others like Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Googlebooks, or Sony.

First I'd recommend trying the steps outlined in these FAQs

After completing those steps, go to this page and post back with the version reported as being installed.

Nothing has been deleted.
The Library folder is just hidden now. Hold down the Option key while clicking on Go in the Finder's menu and you'll see that you can open the Library folder.
Once opened, drag the folder to the Finder's sidebar, so that you open it more easily next time.

You have an intel mac? I would try downloading it again for starters. What happens when you try to mount the disk image? Do you get a bad checksum message or anything?

If you mean iBooks, most can only be viewed on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) in the iBooks app. Only the public domain Project Gutenberg books can be read on a computer, and for that you will need an application that can open ePub files.
If that's not what you meant, please explain further where you are getting these books and how you are attempting to view them.
