Have existing Dreamweaver site want to publish new Muse site into it

I have developed a web site and managed it in Dreamweaver I would like to put new pages including index page from Muse into this Dreamweaver site and from the new index (Muse) link it to the old Index Page (Dreamweaver) so there will be access to all the old areas.
Do I just lay all the the new HTML export into the old sites folder and How do I link the new index page to the old index page with the same name Index?

As such there's no option to import the live pages into Muse and work on them. This is because Muse will only allow opening files with extension as .muse for editing purposes. If you publish to the site from Muse directly then the older content would be replaced completely.
You can however, create the page in Muse, and then export the contents using the File -> Export As HTML option and use Dw to edit the code as per your requirement. This, although not exactly what you need, is a suitable option to retain both the older and the newer contents.

Doing the following wouldn't hurt either:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

My hyperlink is not working in the site I just published in Muse

My hyperlink just works on the computer where I published my site from a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 IOS, in Firefox 19.0, please help! I have imported it into Dream Weaver CS6, but still canno pinpoint the problem, it looks and behaves the same. The site page that I published is http://www.shamarihairsalon.com/contactappointments.html. When clients click on make an appointment at Flakes Mill Location the link expires

Thanks for your response as you were the only one to respond, however this site was redone in Muse, and worked in the previous site (which was not created in Muse) whether the user login or not. The only one who has sign-in capability is the owner of the account the, hence the salon owner. Her clients had been using the site before to make appointments...the link recently stopped working after it was published. Is their anyway around this? such as altering the way Muse create hyperlinks? Could an anchor be used instead,? How would that work? Just grasping for straws and want eliminate possibilities.

The link https://appointment.bizlinkms.com/?page=appt is to an external site that probably requires a login first in order to access it (and hence the session error). You are able to access that page from a particular machine as you are most likely logged into that site already and hence the cookie exists in your browser that is maintaining the session.
On a quick look, the site's login page appears to be https://system.bizlinkms.com/
Nothing to do with Muse though.

When I try to publish my Muse site I get "Query failed" appear in the "Publish to" and "Data Centre"

never happened in the previous 9 months that I have been using Muse (and
BC). Have I really hit two maintenance periods in such a short time?

I have published and taken live several sites and they all looked as expected. The most recent site looks nothing like the Muse site I designed. I published it and BC took me to the home page, where all the background images, graphics, slide show are all missing. Text looks like regular text, not html formatted text. I can't show this. Similar situation just happened to me this morning. Opened a Muse site I was working on and when I preview it the web fonts are not showing and alignment is wierd. ??? Was working fine last week.

By search you are referring to Google search ?? or you are using any search module in your site and the keywords shows same topic multiple times on page ?
Please elaborate more, provide site url.
Regarding using keywords, description etc, you can add that to your page using page properties > metadata section.

How do I remove old web site when publishing new site with same URL in iweb? Hit replace when publishing new iweb site (so we could have control over changes) but new site name is attached to old via a / after our www address we want to keep.

I hit the replace when publishing the new iweb site (so we could have control over changes - last one was not an apple based site) but new site name is attached to old via a forward slash and underscore after our www address. Makes it very messy with a very long web address. Original address now followed by iweb site name followed by name of first page? Went for iweb as not that computer literate - all going so well?! Cheers for help in anticipation. Have to get off to work now but be great end to week if we could be sorted tonight. Rupes

Well yes of course, if you try and publish through iWeb there won't be an option to publish without your site folder which is exactly why I told you to download Cyberduck and use Cyberduck to upload your site to your server having published your site from iWeb to a local folder. That is what you need to do if you don't want your site name to be included in yoru url.
It would have been easier also if you had used Cyberduck initially to connect to your server and delete your old site yourself - at least that way you would have deleted the correct files rather than relying on your hosting service to do it and doing it incorrectly.
Download Cyberduck and then select the publish to a local folder option from iWeb and then use Cyberduck to upload your site to your server, but rather than uploading the whole site folder and separate index file, upload ONLY the contents of your site folder and then your url will be http://www.domain.com/page_name.html.
It really isn't rocket science!

How to publcish new Muse Site with existing domain name

We've created a new site in MUSE and we are ready for it to go live via BC. can we just use the same domain name of our existing site that is hosted by others? Will it replace it? Or do I have to cancel my existing hosting service first?

You may create site using Muse, have the Muse project published to Business catalyst.Once done, have the site launched as either free site you get or as paid one based on you requirements.
Once the site is launched, you may have the domain added to the site via site settings > site domains > new domain.
When you add the domain you have two options :
1. Use our DNS service
2. Use External DNS service
Based of your requirement , you will need to add the domain and have the domain redirected to Business catalyst where the site is now hosted.
As far your existing site is concerned, you may want to keep it until the muse site is ready and published to business catalyst. However, once you are ready and domain is redirected , you may cancel your subscription with third party hosting service .

Wanting to publish 2 differents sites through iWeb.

I have been trying to figure out how to publish two different site in iWeb using personal domain names. Is there somplace I can find a simple step by step? According to the me.com account, I should be able to host multiple sites, but I really can't figure it out. I'm not a tech person, just a creative person with some tech ability.

You can only use one personal domain name using Cname with a MobileMe account. Any others have to use masking which is not really worth thinking about.
Since MobileMe is closing down next year you may be better to move to new hosting where you can have as many domain names and sites as you want. Most of them offer free domain registrations...

To do this you really need to go with a commercial hosting service rather than .Mac for publishing. You could have one site on your .Mac account and one on another server, or have two .Mac accounts, but this is not a very cost effective way of doing it.
Most hosting services will give you at least one free domain registration.....

By doing this you lose the advantage of "one click" publishing and a few of the features of iWeb. You will have to publish your website to a folder and upload it to the server with an FTP application.
The main advantages are that, if you choose a reliable company, it is cheaper and you will have a faster and more reliable service with the benefit of tech support.

I cannot publish my Muse site on BC

The issue strted 3 days ago.
At about 60% and at the exact point when it strted to upload gif images, it stopped.
After a while I was getting the following message:
Error uploading file 1.gif. There was no response from the server. Check your network connection, and try again. If this problem persists, try again later.
This could happen at the first or the second or the third etc... the maximum it got was up to the 7th gif.
Sometimes it worked.. as it did yesterday. But just for a few hours.
And even in these cases, sometimes the uploads were corrupted and I was getting pages missing styling or images cut in half or slideshows not working.
I contacted support and:
My files (muse assets) are stored locally
I did some changes in IE explores settings.
I have send them my muse file to check it and they found it ok. They were also able to upload it in a test site.
They suggested to wait since there was an issue at Adobe BC servers in Virginia and my site was there. I did but the problem persists.
I use Windows 8 and windows defender so ther is no firewall issue.
My connection is VDSL and if I put my muse file at Skydrive, it uploads easily.
Resterted my laptop, resterted my router, open and closed Muse many times.
My version of Muse is the latest as part of the complet CC.
And for hosting I use BC webbasics+.
Any idea how to resolve the issue?

I am having exactly the same problem. At least it's nice to know I'm not alone, and it's making me think its Business Catalyst, not me. I've spent several hours on this already this morning.
When publishing, I get to the SAME 60% percent complete point and get message:

I have clicked Resume.
I have waited and tried again.
I have relinked the image.
I have deleted the image and re-placed it.
I have shut down Muse and restarted
Initially it was on my first image file, the favicon. I did even go back to Photoshop and recreated it and saved under a new name. Now that one does upload.
But now it is erroring on the second image file. (It is on a master page, as a Browser fill.)
I completely deleted that second file, tried to publish, and now it's erroring on the next image file.
This third file is not in my Asset panel, nor is it one I recognize as using: u3810-4.jpg. This is not the way I would name a file. And it's not in the Asset panel, so I can't delete it!
I'm using latest upgrade to Muse.
Mac system, Safari.
Obviously I really need to get this site up with the new content. Client is sending out major newsletter today, with links to the site.

How can I publish my Muse site to BC if I can't log in my BC account?

I am a Creative Cloud subscriber and appear to be locked out of BC. How do I get BC to change my password for me? I can't do it from my end.
It took 3 phone calls, 3 chats, and 3 days to update my Adobe Creative Cloud email ID. I was assured that BC would use the same log in. Apparently, this is not true. Now when I try to publish my Adobe Muse site to BC I can't get in. BC doesn't recognize any of my log ins. I have tried 3 different browsers and that doesn't help. Chat support is stuck too.
Although I gave up trying to get into BC and purchased a website hosting account from a more reliable source, I still would like to have access to the BC option on my Creative Cloud subscription.
HOW DO I GET HELP FOR THIS? It needs to be reset on Adobe BC's end and no one seems to know how to do that.
