Have HVX200, need to get footage to PC HELP!!!!

Ok, so I have an HVX200 and final cut 4.5 and since 4.5 doesn't recognize p2 files and I can't get FCP 5 without paying the full price (I have the academic version and you can't upgrade it), i'm having to do a capture directly from the camera. So after ALLL that, i need to get it to my pc because i have the PC version of magic bullet.
Here is what i need help with. How in the world do i export FULL HD quality footage that my PC can recognize. I have macdrive so i can see the files, but they don't have an .Mov file extension and therefore i can't open it. Can anybody please help me with this. It would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know if I can help, but I'll see what I can do (I own a PC for gaming only).
What codec did you capture from the camera as? What program on the PC are you using to edit? Does that program support the codec you captured as? Can the PC recognize the Mac formatted disk? If not, you may have to reformat it for the PC, then put the files on there.
But really, you need to know if the PC and editing application on the PC supports the codec you captured as. If not, it won't work. What might be the better option is to buy Magic Bullet for FCP...it only runs $295...

For starters, try to write the name correctly. It is LabVIEW, not lab view.
Seriously though, your best way of learning to is try some things yourself first. Look through the examples that ship with LabVIEW for the components Raven suggested (while loops, shift registers, etc.) We could give you a working example but you will learn far more by trying things for yourself. As suggested, try a few things and then post what you have done and what you are having trouble with. From there we can answer your questions rather than just do it for you.

My 7th gen ipod nano wil not show up on my laptop when I plug it in and neither will my brothers new ipad,they don't come up in my computher either and I've installed the new itunes twice but still no change,I really need to get this working,Please help

The cable that I'm using came with my 5th gen nano. The 6th gen Ipod shows that it's connected but the computer doesn't see it, so I don't think that it's the cable.
I did try this before when looking at the troubleshooting guide and nothing happens. It just resets and then the Ipod screen tells me that it's connected to the computer. It still is unseen by Itunes and no where to be found in my computer.
I don't have another computer to plug it into at the moment but I may be able to visit a friend that owns a decent PC in a few days. If that doesn't work out I will be getting a new lap top in a week and I'm hoping that it will work on that, but it won't be a Mac. So, let's say it works when I plug it into one of these computers, should I reset my Ipod from there or is there something else I should do?

How much Ram do I need? (getting a new laptop, help me please!)

So I'm in the market for a new laptop since my current one can't manage at all.
I've found an MSI laptop that I really want :

It's a gaming laptop but it's got all the specs I've been looking for and the thiness and lightness of it is just astounding.
The only problem is that it's only able to have 16 GB of RAM, will this be enough?
I mostly use Premiere pro cs6 where I'm confident that 16 GB will be enough, I'm a bit worried about After effects cs6 though. I don't use AE everyday and when I do it's as a hobby but I do still sometimes use it quite a bit, at the same time as running Premiere. And once I get a laptop that can actually handle AE I will probably start using it more.
So what do you think, will 16 GB of Ram be enough?
I am currently using a laptop with only 6 GB (and it's a nightmare, although the other specs of this laptop aren't really worth smiling about either)
I would really appreciate any and all help!

That is not a correct characterization.
The GPUs that you list are supported for use by these applications.
In the case of After Effects, there is one---and only one---feature that doesn't work on the cards that you list... and it's a feature that you don't need to worry about: GPU acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer. That's all.

The case of Premiere Pro is only somewhat different. You can use all of the features in the application; it's just that some of them will be faster with a certain GPU. Details:

I've used for months but am now so frustrated with the script issue I have uninstalled until I get some resolution. Help?

I've to change the 10 to 20 solution to help solve the unresponsive script issue. I've tried safe mode. I've tried disabling all add-ons but still have it hang up. I don't seem to face that issue with explorer. Is microsoft sabotaging your efforts?

Did you also try to disable all plugins?

Need to get regular BT Broadband before Infinity?

Hi everyone.
I live in a house divided into three flats. I've just moved from the middle one (flat 2) to the bottom one (flat 1). As there's no BT line in flat 1 I've decided to get BT Infinity in order to save that 130 pounds for installing a new line. Seems like I can't have it.
According to online checker I can get Infinity in flat 2, but not in flat 1. It's the very same house, same post code, same exchange.
I phoned BT, the guy from BT Infinity team confirmed the findings, said it's weird and forwarded me to "home move" team. The person I spoke to then said that as there is no line and they don't know what parameters the new line will have I need to get regular BT Broadband first and then upgrade to Infinity.
Is this step really necessary? Can't I have a solid line installed straightaway?

As it stands at the moment BT can not you can get Infinity. Put it the other way round, if they signed you up to Infinity and for some reason when the line is connected you can't get Infinity, you wouldn't be to well pleased.

I apologize in advance for the following Faulknerian rambling. I'm not sure how much info you guys will need to provide assistance.
I am tasked with getting raw and uncompressed video to a European shop running Liquid. Our crew shot all the footage @ 24pA with the expectation of eventually converting the footage for PAL. At the time, our client viewed his primary audience as North American. Now he'd like for his European guys to have access to all the footage. The shop in question can't take MiniDV tapes for editing. They want DVcam or DigiBeta. We'd really rather not spend the additional time writing things back to tape. Also the DVcam tapes only record 40mins. We thought an elegant solution would be to give them raw digital files on a FW drive, but they can't/won't edit in NTSC.
We've established a pretty slick workflow where we bring in the 24pA footage and removing the pulldown to get the 24fps rate we wanted. Then we conform that file to 25fps (PAL's rate) and drop the resulting DV file into a PAL sequence. That sequence gets exported (again as an uncompressed DV Quicktime file).
I sent the other shop a CD with 3 minutes of resulting footage. While I haven't been able to talk to a tech guy there (embarrassing to be so language-limited)the project manager for the shop says they can bring the QT file into combustion, but haven't been able to get it into Liquid.
I'm hoping someone here will have an idea what Liquid wants, that is to say, what can Liquid use? We don't want to convert to AVI as that will introduce compression to the equation. (I have heard that mpegtostreamclip could do this too. Still hoping to avoid the extra step.)

The shop in question can't take MiniDV tapes for editing. They want DVcam or DigiBeta.
MiniDV and DVCAM are the same thing. Exactly the same format. I don't understand why they can't take miniDV but can take DVCAM. Makes no sense.

I have a macbook air bought in 2010. It has liquid damage that might or might not affected the SSD card. I need the data on my SSD card for work and I need it urgently. Apparently Apple won't get the data out, even if I have apple care... Licensed apple dealers need to have the same macbook air model so they can insert the SSD card and check whether the data is there, and they never seem to have one...
I'm really disappointed with apple. It's been two weeks and I haven't been able to find out whether the SSD card is holding my data. It can't take that long to do it in store... How can they sell a product and then wash their hands on the matter?
Anyway, enough with the apple rant. I need to get this data urgently so I need to find out how I can get it out of the card. The SSD card and data might be fine so I don't want to take it to a data recovery centre and get charged loads.

Here is what I have tried so far:
For safe start The loading bar shows up but then doesn't load. After a few seconds it disappears and the wheel continues to spin.
I have tried PRAM but it doesn't help at all.
The only way I can get it off the start off page is to either go to fsck or Mac OS utilites.
Fsck comes up as an error message for me when I put in fsck -FY. /sbin/fsck -FY also doesn't work.
Mac OS utilities really also doesn't much. When I try to back up my hard drive it recognizes the external drive but then has no where to put it to??? There's no way to merge them yet, so all you can do now is make 1 of them the master ID for iCloud. You have to continue to use the other for previous iTunes, Mac App Store updates. Have you read:
