Have i blasted my earphones or is my ipod messed up?

i use the earphones i got with the ipod, and i assume they are pretty bad. sometimes on some songs i hear a kind of buzz on the song, its hard to explain but i doesnt sound perfect. ive heard many have problems with their ipod, and i was wondering if anybody else have had the same problem? is it most likely that the earphones or the ipod thats messed up?
when i work out i always play the music loud, sometime on full volume because its music at the gym, people talk etc.
its not a very big problem, but of course im not satisfied with 95% sound quality!
what do you think?

Well have your ruled out the problem being the headphones or the IPOD by plugging a second set of working headphones into the IPOD?

Apple doesn't actually repair iPod, but does an out of warranty exchange of it for a refurbished model of the same generation and capacity.
So if you want just the headphone jack fixed, you'll need to find a third party iPod repair service. Google "iPod headphone jack repair" and you should get a number of results to work with.

I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

at the end of the day what is the best solution for that problem with the earphones of the new Ipod shuffle? After do some reading through the forums i came up with a couple of solutions that i could probably choose but i am creating that topic as i would like to hear more about your opinions - suggestions.

Just to let you know i wouldn't consider the glue/tape solution as one of my final choices as in my opinion that is not so good to look at and on the other hand who would like to spend his/hers money to buy something good and then you pour glue on it!! Anyway, to finish, buying a 2nd generation Ipod Shuffle is still one of my solutions to that problem, what do you thing is best for me?

No, it will sync the ipod to the content of the MBA which presumably has nothing on it (= erasing content of iPod and replacing it with nothing).

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod

You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.
