I own a british Zen Touch and have lost the software cd. I had to reformat my entire laptop due to a virus, and so I lost the software that was installed. However, in order to transfer songs around, I tried downloding the software on the website. I first downloaded Creative ZEN and Jukebox Driver 2.0.00 and then Creative ZEN and NOMAD Jukebox Plugin 5.00.22 for Creative MediaSource 5 Player/Organizer. ?However, I found that although mediasource 5 was installed on my pc, it couldnt find my player, despite it being recognised by my laptop. I then tried to install 'play for sure' and it said it would take 5 mins, but 30 mins later, nothing had happened so I rebooted my pc. now my mp3 player is stuck in recovery mode, claiming a firmware error. If i connect it to my laptop, it is occaisionally found, however if I try and install the other firmware, Creative Zen Touch Firmware Upgrade version .0.03[color="#000000"] , it says I cannot continue until my player is plugged in. But it is, and it says 'docked'?gahhh - is there anything I can do to get it so it is useable again? I dont mind losing all my songs, as they are backed up elsewhere (thankfully!) but I really need my player to be working again - I'm going travelling in a week, and 50 hrs on a greyhound without music will be torture! ?thanks so much!- Becky

Sorry to hear about the problem, Becky. Hopefully it's still not too late for you (ie, you haven't left yet).
I've had various problems with my Zen Touch and found that a reset usually works.

I copied my old "Mail" folder from Leopard. Then I copied it into my user "Libary" folder in Snow Leopard. Now, Mail opens and I have a "Inbox" and a "Sent" box under "Mailboxes". I also now have something under "Mailboxes" that says "Gmail"...that has another subfolder called "Gmail"...and then THAT has subfolders named All Mail, Drafts, Sent, Spam, Starred, Trash, Gmail Trash, Travel. It's like Mail is importing EVERYTHING from gmail. I dont want this! I want my old style of Mail back. I dont even care if I back up my previous emails, I just want Mail to work how it used to.
I never had this "Gmail" folder in mail before. Mail just used the standard Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc. Now it's pulling everything from Gmail. Also, I sent myself a test email. That email showed up in the "Sent" box, but it never came to my "Inbox".
Im really HATING snow leopard:/Software Update should present the option to update to 10.6.1 -- I cannot think what may be inhibiting it? Open Software Update update, and then click on the Tab for Installed Software -- what updates of stuff are listed?
Insofar as your screenshot, that is normal for a Gmail IMAP account. Above the Gmail folder, the Inbox and Sent are your actual Inbox and Sent for this Gmail account. I don't pay any attention to these folders, mostly because they are far down the Sidebar below my many On My Mac mailboxes, below those types of folders for my other IMAP account. However, if you go to your setting on the Gmail web pages, in Forwarding and POP access, you can click the Advanced menu to exclude most of them, especially the All Mail -- I do. I can recheck how I have instructed others about how to do this, but you should be able to find it on your own. It is not messed up, but standard unless altered by excluding some of these folders. These folders are on the Gmail server, and you can see them via webmail access as well.
Were you perhaps previously accessing as a POP account?

Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -
My iPhone 5 is not syncing with my iTunes 11.3, on OSx. I have just completed all of the most recent updates and have looked into completely uninstalling iTunes but I found my computer won't let me! Any ideas?

I just downloaded and installed the new iTunes on a Toshiba Satelite of some age. It was just completely reformated and updated with XP. iTunes will not open. The terms page comes up and when I agree it disappears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

Yes, unless you've saved manually or have autosave software for it installed, which is only preloaded when using the latest Pages version on Mac OS X 10.7.

You must upgrade your OSX to Lion (10.7) minimum, Mavericks (10.9) preferably.

My toolbar had a folder called Resonance with many important urls etc. It just completely disappeared from the Toolbar list. This happened once beforea a year ago. This is a bug I assume you know about. Do I have any hope of retrieving urls? thanks, Alan Tower

hi i have just completed an imovie project and tried to save a hard copy on the desktop so i dragged the project file from the home page then movies folder and now the prioject seems to be lost , how can i get it back ?
It's a Finder feature, related to Quick Look. You can hit the space bar in the file list to get a preview.
If that doesn't work, you may have an issue witha preference file or similar. I find rebuilding the launch databse works quite well resilving tis kind of thing, as does trashing Finder preferences -

Anyone just complete a Chapter "20" and have credit problems???
Hi everyone, I just completed a Chapter 13 and had a discharged Chapter 7 three months prior to my Ch 13 filing. Discharged 7 on 3-2005, filed a Ch 13 on 8-2006. Completed and closed my Ch 13 on 1-27-2012. Because of the 7 being discharged close to the opening of my Ch 13, I am not qualified for a discharge from it. This is making it extremely difficult to obtain a loan for a used car, which I need. Actually, no one wants to finance me without that discharged status. Anyone ever experience this or hear of this. I'm so frustrated. Thanks
I have heard of a "Ch 20" but never have seen how they report. What did you get when you finished your Ch 13 since you couldn't get an official discharge? Is there some letter or notification from the trustee that the Ch 13 was completed and the plan payments finished? What does your credit report say? You might have to go somewhere for manual underwriting so the lender knows you are finished satisfactorily with your plan payments. You might want to try your CU or bank where you can actually sit down with a loan officer with your documentation. The first tradelines will be hard to get. Do you have any open cc's?

How can i undo the latest ios7 software update for my iphone4? It completely screwed up my phone!
I updated my iPhone 4 a few days ago to the latest operating system, iOS7. I've always proceed with the operating system updates because I assumed there were security fixes included as well as other fixes that were supposed to make the system run better. I haven't had any significant problems with updates in the past, except for some minor differences in appearance that didn't bother me. This time but the update appears to have completely screwed up my phone.
My first complaint is, where the **** did all of my apps go?? I paid for them, and now they're gone. Are they hiding in the iCloud? I had over 3 screens of apps, and now I've only got 1 screen.
My second complaint is, what was wrong with the appearance of the interface and icons in the previous version? The new system has gone with opaque pastel-colered icons that, frankly, I don't like as much as the icons in the previous system. And why does there have to be a gray band on the bottom row of icons?
My third complaint is everthing else on the phone is screwed up. Nothing works like it did before. Most of the photos I had on my phone have disappeared (iCloud??) Granted, my complaints about the appearance may seem trivial, but this is really annoying.
Can I reverse the iOS7 "downgrade" and go back to the good old days with the previous version when everything worked just fine and I was able to access all of my apps?You might want to check out these two threads:

I have the Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra, the 40 GB version. I decided to Reload all my songs from my computer because almost none of them were tagged when i first put them on. The Jukebox would only have 4 of the 525 songs transfered to it, and then everyone of those songs would have an error in transfer. I decided to try an upgrade the Software vers, the Driver vers and the Firmware vers. I have Downloaded every thing off their official site and installed it, but it did not work. Also, the Firmware on the JB is completely deleted. I can't connect the JB to my computer. My comp doesnt detect it. So I am completely Screwed up right now, please, any help would be great.<SPAN class=gensmall>
If it's making the sound then something is being detected with regards to USB. Make absolutely sure it isn't appearing in Device Manager.

I just completed this task (support.apple.com/kb/HT1364) moving my music to an external HD to free up my PC hard disc and all went well until I re-opened iTunes and it is a blank new account!
I also don't can't access anything from the recycle bin as when I copied the iTunes file to the recycle bin it said it was too large to copy over so made me effectively empty as I copied over as it was so big.
Any help gratefully recieved or where I can get some, I am going round in circles. I also don't know which itunes operating system I have, it is around 3 years old.hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo
