Sorry to bother you , I downloaded the upgrader 2006-06-28 but the options to update or restore are greyed out and I cant click on them.
My ipod was reset as all accidentally went into chinese.
Since then no songs on ipod and unable to re download the exsisting songs off of itunes.
Have 100's of songs on there and dont want to lose them but starting again
I am also getting an error message WINDOWS - DELAYED WRITE FAILED.WWindows was unable to save all the data for the file E:,The data has been lost.This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection.Please try to save this file elsewhere.An Autoplay box also appears but nothing else.
The Ipod is still saying do not disconnect and also itermitently asking which language I want.
Have I killed it??
have you got a 3g?
has your pod gone into disk mode?
if so go to control panel - sytem - hardware - device manage - click the plus next to disk drives and hope to **** you dont see

No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

Hi, I have just bought another ipod, I have now a 60GB video ipod and a new 8GB ipod. Does it pose any problem when synchronising ? Can they have different names ? ThksYou can name your iPod whatever you like. If you are connecting a second iPod for your own use, just connect it to your computer and it will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update the whole library, selected playlists or you can manage it manually.
When using a small capacity iPod like the Nano with a large library, you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" (called Sync Music - All songs and Playlists in iTunes 7). This would allow you to create a playlist specifically for your Nano and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Nano (around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB). Three possible causes:
- You got charged twice. On a computer go to iTunes Store>View Account>Purchase History and see what you got charged for
- Maybe the difference is due to tax. Again the Purchase History will list the total price including tax for each purchase.
- You had a negative balance (you owed money) before you redeemed the card.

If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.

I had already update mi new factory unlocked iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 and I still having problems with "invalid sim". I'm from Argentina and here we don't have official service. Was it purchased from an official Apple Store, not a reseller? Only Apple Stores sell official factory unlocked phones. The others sell hacked to unlock phones, and the unlocking is unstable.
Try these steps, as needed:
1. Reset phone - press both home and on/off buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
3. Replace SIM card (and reset network settings again)
4. Restore Phone in iTunes using a backup
5. Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup -

The many "failed" warnings that etrecheck sometimes spews mean nothing. Those warnings are not a reason to reinstall the OS, or to do anything else at all. They should be ignored.
The better your description of the problem, the better the chance of a solution.
For example, if the computer is slow, which specific actions are slow? Is it slow all the time, or only sometimes? What changes did you make, if any, just before it became slow? Have you seen any alerts or error messages? Have you done anything to try to fix it? Most importantly, do you have a current backup of all data? If the answer to the last question is "no," back up now. Ask if you need guidance. Do nothing else until you have a backup. -
I keep getting the error 306 cannot connect to the iTunes Network when downloading songs on iTunes. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps from the forums and my technical issues are still unresolved. I have Windows 7. Please help!!
iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054"
Proxies, parental control settings and software, security or filtering software, or a bad iTunes Store cache can cause this.
To address proxies, Remove Internet Options proxy settings ( http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1490 ) and connect to the Internet without a proxy.
To reset iTunes Store cache:
In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the "Reset cache" button.
Click OK and see if the issue is resolved.
Adjust Parental Controls in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Access iTunes preferences:
On a Mac: From the iTunes menu, choose Preferences.
On a Windows PC: From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Parental Controls tab.
Remove restrictions on Parental Controls.

Once three iCloud accounts have been created on any iOS device, it can you no longer be used to create any more accounts, regardless of what you do to it. You will need to use a computer or another iOS device to create your account and then use the details to log into your account on your phone. -

[email protected]Both parties must be connected to wifi to use FaceTime (and you must have FaceTime turned on in Settings>Facetime). If you're phone shows 3G at the top when it's on, you're not connect to wifi; you'll have to solve that problem first.

If the album was synced to your phone from your computer, it can only be removed by sycing it off. To do this, deselect the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.

You don't say what your version of Windows you have. Assuming XP, go to Start | Run, type DXDIAG and click OK. Click the Sound tab and run the tests to eliminate a hardware problem first of all. If you don't hear anything, check your cables first of all. Also make sure "Mute" isn't checkmarked in your sound setup. You'll find that in Windows Control Panel.
Which browser do you use? If you have Firefox 4, sign up to the HTML5 trial @ http://www.youtube.com/html5
HTML5 is the latest video standard and doesn't require Flash player. Google is in the process of converting all its files to work with the new format. It may solve you problem. If you don't have Firefox 4, you can get it from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
IE8 doesn't support HTML5.
To clean out your temp files, go to Start | Run, type: CLEANMGR and click OK. Click OK again to start the utility. Tick all the boxes except "Compress old files" because the latter takes too long, and then click OK. You can run this utility any time you wish by the way.
The above steps will hopefully fix your problem. If not, post here again please. -
