Have (I think) downloaded the trial version of Elements on Win 7 PC, but dosn't run

Ran the Adobe downloader all night and it appeared to download approx 1.5GB of the Elements program. Now there is no sign of the program files or an install exe file. Any ideas how I check to see if it has downloaded and if so, to get the files to install and run?

If it is not in the user folder then you may have customized your location. I would recommend downloading the software again and then you will have an exact file name you can search for as well.
If you would prefer you can also utilize the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

How can I download the trial version of PS CC when the update window says I am up to date.

I have tried to download the trial version of PS CC repeatedly. The downloads were unsuccessful but the download window says I am up to date and will not let me try again. How do I work around this?

I followed the suggestion to run Creative Cloud Tool. It did enable me to retry the download, but the download failed again. All I get is 30KB of data and a circle with a slash over the icon. Is there any other way I can manage to download the trial of PS CC?

You should uninstall the LR trial that is asking for a serial number, then quit the CC Desktop app, then restart it, at which point Lr should show in the CC Desktop apps list with an Install button next to it.
There can be only one LR installed at a time, so if your trial is there, the CC Desktop won’t install another.

I personally try to avoid that "download assistant" whenever possible...
