Have IMovie but not IDVD, so how do I export?

Any help would be much appreciated. I have IMovieHD but my computer doesn't support IDVD. It's a hand me down and new to me. Have typically used just IMovie in the past and was able to export via a dv bridge to make VHS, that was on my old IMac. But now I am at a loss. I can't seem to get the same exporting options I had before. IMovieHD isn't recognizing my external DVD burner, and I can't get it to export to my VHS anymore. Any advice or suggestions?

I do not have IDVD5. I tried to go to mac and start updating the IDVDs, but I don't think I have a superdrive and therefore, from what I understand, my computer isn't compatable with IDVD. Ig I can use IDVD5, where can I download/purchase it without having to get the rest of Ilife which I already own?
My internal cd/dvd drive isn't working at all, hence why I got an external cd/dvd drive, that is a QUE!007. My DV Bridge is from Dazzle.
Basically, I am making a film that has mostly photos, and some film images, that I was able to get from my TV through the bridge up onto imove, some audio, and transitions and effects. I was hoping that when it was all said in done, I could just hit a button, burn a dvd that I could view in any dvd player, but that doesn't seem to be the case. When I tried to reverse and go from my computer to the tv through the bridge, the image was barely there basically a blue screen with a blur behind it.
So what do I do now to get this movie either onto a dvd or onto vhs? I feel like I have all the right working equipment but I just don't know how to make it all cooperate with each other...
So greatly appreciate all this help.

This gets you an unlock key to open Outlook, which you will find is already in the Office folder, but locked.

Exactly where are you clicking, you need to be specific. For example, are you using the Dock, the Applications folder, Launchpad, etc. to attempt to start teh app? Also IOS 7.1.2 does not run on a Mac, what version of OS X is installed on your computer?

I am really sorry I upgraded so quickly to ios8.
Not only do I not have my ATT but my pics "events from mac" are in some unknow order. I have 220 folders that are not alpabetized. I cannot find any pictures.
On the Macbook Air the events are perfect, all in alphabetic order. When they transferred they are mixed. Faces are mixed now.
THis new operating system is horrible. How do I go back to 7.
And the ipad 2 is so slow now. There are no positives!

Upgrading from iMovie '09 to iMovie '11 is not a free update. iMovie '11 is now at version 9.0.8, whereas iMovie '09's last free update was version 8.0.6.
So you will be moving to a new version if you upgrade to iMovie '11, hence the upgrade fee. Minor updates for each version are always free - these usually relate to bug fixes and fixes for other issues, and generally don't introduce new features. iMovie '11 does introduce a number of new features - see this Wikipedia article:

Yes, as Josh P said, I can see that happening if you sync with iTunes on the same Computer and the same mail account. Under the info section, advanced, I bet notes is checked for both of the devices..everything else might be un-checked, but notes might be checked for both devices...

With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

iTunes will only transfer purchases back to your computer using the iTunes > File > Transfer purchases from XXX's iPhone. It will not transfer playlists or non-purchased songs.

Try, in preferences, resetting 64 bit to 32 bits. Should work fine. the older vidoes, etc will not work with 64 bit. Had the same problem/scare. Let us know if this helps and works!
