Have itunes and nano, can i put the same library on new ipod touch
hi. do i just hook up the new ipod touch and sync whatever i want from the itunes library that i already had and been using with the ipod nano, which will still be used also.
sure. I have 12 ipods in the house and sync them on one PC. (most all of them are synced to the same library)

Hi...My Ipod Touch was recently stolen. In order to help the local police deptartment I need to supply a seria number for the Ipod. - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

When you have 1 itunes library.. and 2 ipods.. different names.. how can you share the same library??? All of the songs that were put on there from a CD will sync, but the songs that were purchased.. "cannot be found" How can we merge them?? or how can we share all songs.. purchased or not!

I have an older iPod Touch, I bought a new one and the Itunes on my computer is too old to recognize my new iPod Touch and Itunes cannot be updated. Is there a creditable software program I can use to get all my old music from my old iPod Touch to the new one? It is my understanding that the music cannot be saved onto my new iTunes, b/c I did not have iCloud. I have over 2,000 songs I just cannot part with. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help some how!! THANKS!
I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

Make sure your computer meets the iPod shuffles requirements for Mac.

any help?Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

How can I listen to itunes and play a game at the same time on my ipad 4? This means I need to run 2 apps at the same time itunes and my game. The game has its own sound control so I can turn off its sound while i listen to itunes tracks. But I don't know how to set it up so the ipad does both.
Anytime you open an app that has a persistant sound stream - a movie, a podcast, some games - it will overide the music app's stream. nothiong you can do to change it.

Syning with iTunes is completely separate from iCloud, except that if you have elected to sync calendars and contacts with iCloud you cannot sync them with iTunes.

Unfortunately, no. the CS programs are platform specific. You have three options. Upgrade to CS6 and request a platform swap, in which case you will give up the Windows serial number. Second, you could buy a second serial number for Mac outright. Third, you can buy the subscription to Photoshop CC, which can be used on both Windows and Macintosh..

You can use iTunes, connect iPod Touch to computer iTunes.
Select iPod Touch in iTunes under DEVICES (left panel)
Select Books tab (right panel near the top)
Deselect those books that you have read
Click Sync button (bottom right)
